Very nice hotel with excellent service. The front desk staff is superb, and are patient with every situation. Minor downsides with every hotel. They don't refresh everything inside the guest room coffee station. They either forget cups or stirrers or tea.... And the usual guy that assumes someone like me is going to break into a car even though I'm carrying luggage and a laptop. Some folks have so hard a time getting past their biases, the illogical wins

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Hilton Rosemont/Chicago O'Hare for two nights while attending the Airliners International convention, which was held at this Hilton location. We were able to get a free hotel shuttle ride from O'Hare airport to the hotel, which is about 10 to 15 minutes away from the airport. I am deducting one star because of the attitude of the shuttle driver. He was upset because nobody had told him about the convention and he had so many passengers to pick up from the airport. He was downright crabby, which was disconcerting at 6:00 am. Luckily, things improved greatly when we arrived at the Hilton. The front desk staff member was fantastic. Because I am a Hilton Diamond Member, she was able to check us into our room immediately. Bless her! We were so happy to drop off our suitcases and go back downstairs for breakfast. We ate all of our meals at the Liberty Tavern at the hotel. I had a generous food and beverage credit with my Hilton Honors membership, which helped keep the food costs to a reasonable amount. The Liberty Tavern was wonderful! The service was fantastic and the food portion sizes were very generous. There were other food options within walking distance of the hotel, but we did not venture out. We wanted to spend most of our time at the convention. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. Housekeeping was upon request. The rooms had decent soundproofing, so we did not hear our neighbors. The complementary toiletries were of high quality. We had a great experience at this hotel and would definitely stay at there again.

Very cool and convenient location Hilton hotel. A 15 min drive from O'hare, great shopping restaurants and bar area all at a decent nightly rate. Hotel seems to be one of the old but renovated ones. All modern with hints that it was an older version. Staff is great, specifically at the restaurant. I'd stay here again.

Our stay over hotel before prime time downtown Chicago.. Came to the Hilton O'Hare on a Friday night, based on the reasonable nightly price before heading to stay downtown at another Hilton sister property from Saturday through Monday. Overall the hotel, while appearing dated was very nice and accommodating. We were upgraded to a larger room with a pleasant corner view, which made everything all the better. Edward at the front was very hospitable and gave us great recommendations about a lot of the elements around the hotel and surrounding community. Overall I would come back ....

I had some business to take of in the area, so I thought I'd try this hotel. I will say, Hilton's app is so user friendly. The hotel is very convenient to the convention center, many corporate offices and right off of the interstate - near O'Hare Airport. I had arrived shortly after 2pm. As I was entering the hotel, I had received my digital key on the phone. However, I did stop by the front desk to pick up a physical key... just incase. Stella (I believe), Guest Service Agent, is a gem... very friendly and helpful regarding the hotel. I made it up to the room, which was located on the 8th floor. The room was good size with a great comfortable bed. I really enjoyed the desk area so I could get some work done. Later in the evening, I moved over to the ever so comfortable chair with a great view of the area. Granted, the hotel is close to the airport, I didn't hear any outside noise. In the evening, I had a great conversation with Dahlia, Guest Service Agent. Another great asset to the hotel. The hotel offers several sitting areas in the lobby and outside. I wasn't able to enjoy any of the other amenities such as the fitness center or the pool or the Starbucks. Definitely, a hotel I would return to and would recommend.

Might literally be the worst hotel I've spent over $500 a night for. Do not answer the phone, no matter how you try. Do better.

Dining: We dined at Thorn Restaurant & Lounge, located in the hotel lobby, and everything was exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was impeccable, and the cocktail menu did not disappoint. I highly recommend the Not So Old Fashioned -- definitely order it smoked! During our business meeting, we ordered breakfast, and I was blown away by the portion sizes. That breakfast burrito with the oven-roasted potatoes could honestly keep you full all day! Accommodations: The rooms are stunning. The décor throughout the property is modern, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. My bed was incredibly comfortable, and the large shower provided the perfect way to unwind after a long day. I also appreciated the charming old-school Frigidaire in the room -- such a fun touch! Service: From the front desk staff to the restaurant team, everyone was warm, friendly, and accommodating. The hotel even checked in with me via text throughout my stay, and when I requested extra pillows, they arrived promptly. This was my first time staying at this property, but it definitely won't be my last. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! #YelpEliteSquad

It's not super obvious but you go up the escalators/stairs to check in on the second floor. Check in went fairly quickly and there's water in the check in area. Assigned a room on the 10th floor and glass elevators moved quickly. Hotel rooms all face inside; similar to a Embassy Suites. The room was clean and spacious but the toilet has a foot flush pedal which was a little weird. Hotel is also undergoing some renovations so perhaps it will be different in the upcoming year. This was a nice conference venue but not too much else. It's pretty far from downtown (1+ hour in traffic, 25 min without). There isn't a ton of casual seating space like I've seen in other Hyatts but there is some general spaces and coffee shop market with tables. Didn't spend much time in the bar area but it's pretty central and seemed like it was pretty active there every night.

During my stay, the building experienced a water outage that lasted an entire day. This meant there was no running water in my room, making it impossible to shower, use the restroom normally, or prepare for class. At the time, I was also dealing with personal health needs that made the lack of running water especially difficult from a basic hygiene standpoint. Not having access to water during that situation was extremely stressful and uncomfortable, particularly while trying to stay focused on my academic responsibilities. I had to reach out to management to address the issue and request a room change. While they did move me to another room, the situation was not handled proactively, and no assistance with moving my belongings was offered until I asked. In a hospitality setting, I expected more support during a disruption like this. After my stay, Candace from the hotel reached out and added 8,000 World of Hyatt points to my account, which I do appreciate. However, I replied to provide additional context on how significantly the outage impacted my stay and never received a response to my final email, sent on February 13, 2026. The lack of follow-up communication after that point was disappointing, and it adds to my experience with this company. I've had positive experiences with Hyatt properties in the past, which is why this stay stood out negatively. I hope the hotel improves both guest support during unexpected issues and communication afterward when guests raise concerns.
