The room wasn't ready when it was 100 degrees outside and the front desk seemed incapable of finding a solution. Rooms were generally clean but trash by elevator constantly overflowing and multiple requests to have it picked up to be able to throw away items was challenging. It is conveniently located close to O'Hare Airport, the Donald E Stevens Convention Center, Fashion Outlets of Chicago, and many other local attractions. Hyatt Centric has some of the best parking rates near O'Hare! I was honestly impressed. For an airport-area hotel, the parking was affordable, convenient, and extremely easy to access. The garage is well-lit, secure, and just steps from the hotel entrance. I was able to park here at a low weekly rate and get shuttle service to my terminal in O'hare. It's a great option whether you're staying overnight or just need reliable parking close to the airport without paying the high O'Hare rates. The value and convenience really can't be beat. I stayed here for work. There is a good restaurant in the lobby called Cima. Also there is a coffee shop but I didn't try it. There's a nice gym on the second floor. The keys are made of bamboo or some other kind of wood. I don't know if it's for sustainability or just a "vibe" but I found it a unique touch. The room had good lighting which is important to me. There wasn't an actual desk per se but there was a table with a chair and several outlets nearby that would work as a desk so if you need a true honest desk this may come up short. read more

I found this hotel on Hotel Tonight app and it was close to my conference and less expensive. My room was clean and comfortable. I did have an issue with my shower leaking water all over bathroom but towels kept it at bay and I told them to fix after I left. I didn't get to try their restaurant - always left too early and stayed too late. But the snacks available to buy were convenient! Check in and check out was easy. Loved large shampoo/conditioner and bath gels. The free airport shuttle folks were also very generous with dropping me at the blue line to see other parts of town. I would definitely consider going back to this hotel next year for the conference, or for my next one woman writer retreat! read more

I paid $144 to park for 8 days, and in my email it says "the shuttle runs every 40 minutes starting at 5 AM"! Guess what? Even though this is marketed as "airport parking", the shuttle is not included! We had to take an Uber. Absolutely pathetic! Complete BS. We were better off parking at the airport. I booked 2 nights here through Priceline for this past weekend. It was listed as a 3.5 star hotel. It seems like that might have been true a decade ago. It's not that it was dirty... it was just worn. My son and I stayed in a room with 2 full-size beds. It was the hardest bed I've ever slept in and the linens felt so weird. Like plasticky? Not soft in any way. And the bottom sheet wasn't fitted, it was tucked, poorly, so after one night of sleep, it was all rumpled and coming apart, and we did not receive maid service the next morning. Nothing was said that it would be skipped. The room had very little lighting. There was an ancient cube fridge but no microwave. Two paper cups, unwrapped, were provided, as well as full sized pump bottles of toiletries. Overall, it was an odd experience. I will book somewhere else the next time I am in Chicago. read more

Hidden Parking Fee First off don't be fooled that they are ALITTLE cheaper than everyone else in the area. 1.They will charge you UPON ARRIVAL that parking is an additional 25$. The parking is either across from the hotel or in the back of the hotel (which is fine but they lock that door with a bar from 10pm to 6AM..yes even if you have a key card). 2. There is no pool, no hot tub, no free breakfast. 3. I got into my room and my door had to be forced close because the door handle was broken. 4. There looked like there was a PUDDLE of a certain human fluid on my floor. 5. My bathroom door handle was also broken and coming off the wall. I don't recommend this place at all. Stayed here with the fam this weekend, I've never met nicer people than the people who worked at the cafe during breakfast she gave me a spoon even tho there was one right in front of me breakfast was really good and the fruit was fruity, I recommend. The room had an okay view of a casino and some trees not bad can't complain but it was a little noisy at night there was also a TV channel that only had Spider-Man movies, it was dope. Do not use their airport shuttle service!!! They say it drops off and picks up every half hour but both on pick up at the hotel and at the airport the bus was late or only came once an hour. We waited so long at the airport we debated just calling an Uber to take us back to the hotel parking. The instructions they give for location of pick up at the airport in the confirmation email are also inaccurate. read more

This is such a nice hotel! I was blown away with how beautiful it was. The room was spectacular and spacious! I did decide to try something in their restaurant to go and got the taco salad with chicken (there is the option to get steak). Let me tell you, that was the best taco salad I have ever had! You know that adorable video of the little girl that can't stop dreaming about waffles? I can't stop dreaming about this taco salad! There were avocados, had some black beans, corn, delicious tortilla strips, the chicken was cooked perfect, the dressing whatever it was made it superb! I love avacados! The portion was quite generous and I couldn't even finish the whole thing. Kudos to the chef for making such a delicious salad! I wasn't in chicago long but I feel like if I ever do make it back to the rosemont I'd definitely want that salad again! Just look how delicious it is! read more

We had our 40th High School reunion here and used many rooms for classmates. The event was very nice and the staffers here were all helpful and professional. We used a booking service that helped with more than 10 rooms needed and got us a great deal on rooms and hall for event itself. The only things that saw any trouble was the charges for beverages at event and in house bar, I mean $6 for soda and $9 for beer is a bit above scale. A few classmates must have known this as they brought in coolers and beverages to start the night off. The buffet they set up with us was OMG good, for buffet food. We did have a nice variety of foods to pick from and most very happy with picks. The staff gave us a discount for parking that was a bonus for us and thank you again. In a few years for next reunion I would love to use them for these services, see you then. read more

I am writing this review to request to be contacted by yourself and possibly someone in a high corporate setting. The below is a recap of my first call experience upon my arrival to the airport on 11/23/2022 at 4:00am. I had a paid stay with the hotel from 11/23 to 11/27. My a flight arrived very early as my original flight was over booked and I was asked to fly out a littler earlier if possible. No fault to your company or to my self. I understood of course and took the flight. Once I had gathered all my items, I called the hotel to see if for any reason I might be able to check in early. When I called, a man named Jorge answered the phone. He informed me that if I wanted to check in the early it would cost me an extra day. I understood as I was calling at 445 or 5 at this point. I asked him if there was a lobby I can sit in until I am able to check in. This is when everything went south. Jorge in his words said " I strongly recommend you stay at the airport until your check in time, if you come here and fall asleep I will have to kick you out". Taken back by that response I informed him I was not looking for somewhere to sleep but only to wait. He then again said there is a lobby but that I should stay at the airport, he then again said " if you come here and I see your eyes closed, I will wake you up and ask you to leave. Since I had not once mentioned anything about being tired, or wanting to come sleep in the lobby, I started to feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. I then informed him he was coming off rough and rude. His exact response was " that's all based on perception". When I asked what he meant, he then said " you think I'm being rude, and I'm just being straight up about our rules". Being that I run a few assists for a multi-million dollar company in Arizona, I personally have a very well understanding of customer service, and how to deliver a message. Since my check in was not til 3 pm. I stood in a cold airport until then. I had never been treated so poorly. No matter who is on the other line being respectful is a big thing in the hotel industry. I now have had a cold since this experience which has halted activities with my family. I was just able to take time off and spend time with them for the first time in 3 years to have this start my trip. Room: Just cause I was scared to complaint to staff after this experience can you please make sure the staff fixes the tub in my room 517 after my stay ends. The shower continues to fill up when using it. Corporate feels that because I was offered a free breakfast that I was not able to use. Saturday before leaving I went to breakfast at 10 am which I'm sure they can see on their cameras. The listing said it closed at 11. When I asked the women behind the counter if I could order, her first response was " the restaurants closed, but I guess we can start something for you". I quickly said don't worry about it as it seemed to be inconvenient for them. This experience and treatment can make someone feel so low and no human should be made to feel bad for trying to get food an hour before closing. read more

Good, quiet location in Rosemont, directly across the street from Rivers Casino. There are plenty of fast food and takeout restaurants within walking distance including Gino's East directly next door. We also were able to walk to the Rosemont CTA station daily, about 20 minutes one-way. Check-in was smooth and as a Discoverist member, they hooked me up with free breakfast vouchers which was nice since other Hyatt locations have never done that for me. The breakfast was ok, wouldn't recommend if you were paying full price...pretty basic and slow service. The rooms were nice, clean and quiet. No complaints there. I believe they also have free self parking, although we didn't have a car. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you need to stay up by the airport or North suburbs of Chicago. read more

Do NOT park in their lot through Spot Hero. We stood in the cold for over an hour for their shuttle. We called 4 times and each time George told us 5-10 minutes only for them to then tell us during the 4th call the shuttle was full and it would be another 20 minutes. Then we were told "well it's complimentary". We ended up taking an Uber which we should've done from the beginning. You get what you pay for!! Pay nothing, get nothing! read more

You're not staying here for the hotel, but you're staying here because you need a cheap night next to the airport so you can catch an early flight out of town. Honestly, it's a very old building, and it could look like it needs some updating. But for the price you pay, I've honestly seen way worse at Hyatt Places. This honestly was not too bad. The only real complaint I have is that the lighting in the rooms is terrible. It's just not bright enough with everything turned on. They even gave you nice toiletries from Pharamcopia (smells so nice) and not the usual ones that I got at Hyatt Places. The restaurant downstairs is not open, so look for restaurants nearby. We ordered Giordano's To go which is literally a minute drive away. Definitely walkable. There is also no shuttle to the airport from here surprisingly. Parking for the car is $22/per night. And they have you put a sign on your dashboard because it's technically a city parking lot I think they said. So they actually check the cars. The place is what I needed for the night for an early flight out of Chicago. read more

This hotel was beautiful, staff was OUTSTANDING, they had a parking garage, restaurant and other amenities. They allowed me to check in around 10pm due to flight delay, and an event I went to. Friendly staff made this trip a great one! Since this event for me will be a yearly trip I will definitely be booking and staying at this hotel again. I was on the 5th floor with a gorgeous view, huge clean room with full size toiletries. There is also a Casino right across the street, a 2 minute walk if you like to gamble. Giordano's, Starbucks, The Great American Bagel place so close. I definitely recommend this hotel. They have remodeled as well. read more

Unbelievable! A hotel in Chicago that still understands customer service. First off, I got a screaming deal on Priceline ($44.00/night) so I didn't expect any favors. I've got a big family of 5, with 3 teenagers, who really fill up an elevator. Our Priceline reservation bought us only one bed in each room, but the front desk attendant was kind enough to put is in 2 adjoining rooms with 2 beds/each. Being Priceline reservations, they were prepaid with a credit card needed for incidentals only. However, the front desk made an error when checking me in and charges my card for the stay. She immediately corrected the error and notified me I would see a charge and a credit on my Amex. No harm no foul, but to make amends she comped us all breakfast in the morning. She also gave me 5 pass codes for free Internet for our stay. And with free parking, a fridge in the room, casino across the street, and a shuttle to the train, I couldn't ask for anything else. Lastly, although we are on top of the airport and major highways, you can't hear a thing in the room. Without all the freebies, I would come back again in a heartbeat. read more

I booked this without reading reviews because we needed a hotel quickly for a night. If I had read reviews, I definitely wouldn't have booked it! My experience was much different than others that stayed within the past year. I had a great experience from the minute I walked into the lobby until we checked out. The lobby smelled so good and felt really cozy. I later figured out it was because they had scented candles burning. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were across from the casino and all of the lights, but once we closed the curtains it blocked everything out. I can't think of one thing to complain about. I'm guessing they either renovated this place and/or changed managers since the last reviews that were posted. Either way, I wouldn't hesitate staying here again if I ever needed a hotel in this location again. read more

We absolutely LOVE the Hyatt Rosemont! You really get what you pay for, and I am so glad we went with them to book our stay for our wedding weekend!!! There were plenty of hotels in the area, but the quality of Hyatt Rosemont was just superb....I'm glad we didn't cheap out on this one! We got there on a Friday afternoon to check in...we were a bit early, but the receptionist got us a room and our key in a jiff! We were on the 6th floor, which was a REALLY nice view; it was actually right across Rivers Casino! The hotel is very modern, we loved the art in the rooms, and it was overall a great experience. Our situation was unique, since we requested to have double beds on Friday night, and a single King bed for Saturday night. The only thing they asked of us was to check out of the double bed room before noon, that way my bridesmaids and I could transfer and get ready in the King bed room. They accommodated us, we got settled in to the King bed room around 8am, and my husband and I were so satisfied with the whole experience. We also requested to be on the same floor as one of our other guests, and that worked out perfectly too! My mother actually had to go back to the hotel after our ceremony, and when she told me the room key didn't work for her, she went to the receptionists' desk, and they gave her a new key and did not give her a hard time. On Saturday night, my husband and I got to our room, and we found a nice surprise of two wine flutes, a big bottle of champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries!!!! We were both so happy and it was a really generous thing of them to do for us! Anyways, we checked out Sunday morning, and everything was perfect. Their Customer Service was awesome, the hotel was clean, and we had no problems. THANK YOU for making our stay as welcoming as it was, Hyatt Rosemont! But i needed to cancel the room due to my Mother being ill which is the reason for my trip in the first place, and we have not been able to figure out what is wrong with her. This place is a ripoff. Got this place thru my Chase points for 3 nights, which I guess they use a 3rd party (priceline, trivago, etc..) This spot was $547 by itself. Then they charge $50 resort fees even thou the Chase website says $30 a night. Then parking is a sham. They charge an additional $25 a night. The parking structure is for 4 different venues, in addition to ohare parking. Complete ripoff. If you charge $50 in resort fees, that should at least include parking, WOW. What a dump, this place shouldn't carry the Hyatt name. Very damp and musty smell throughout hotel and room. Carpets are filthy and customer service subpar. I stayed overnight here so I could be close the Pearson testing center where I was taking an early career recertification test. It served the purposes fine: a short Uber ride from the Rosemont station (it was too cold to walk but could have been a short walk too, or bus ride is quick). The service was friendly and the rooms were decent, no major complaints! Not a luxury inn but appropriate to the price. There are 2 Hyatt hotels in Rosemont. This one is a little further from the airport, about 5mins more than the Hyatt Regency. I found a great deal on this hotel through Hotwire when I had extra time to kill while at O'Hare. They provide complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. The driver was really nice and they offer free water. The ride to the hotel was only about 10-15mins. I saw the pictures of the hotel on the website and was afraid I'd walk into a 90's cheezy mess, but it was a pleasant surprise to see that they had remodeled. The lobby looks more modern with creative lighting, an LCD flat screen, and updated furniture. The room was a clean, a decent size, and the king bed was comfortable. Although the room had the traditional tube TV, it had an iHome radio clock to dock your iPod. I had the munchies and was bored so I went down to the lounge. I ordered a burger w/ cheddar and fries. The burger was pretty good and was served with a side of dijon/garlic sauce. I washed it down with some Blue Moon on tap, while watching the Steelers/Jaguars football game on one of the screens and the Angels/RedSox baseball game on another. read more

Becky in the little cafe area is the sweetest person ever! As I was trying to figure what I wanted to eat I began to tell her that I was suppose to be in Florida right now and not in this 27 degree cold weather in Chicago. She kindly ask what happen and I explained the mechanical delay... blah blah and the fact that I only packed sun dresses and no coat. I was so bummed. The hotel is smaller than the Regency which is down the street, however the staff is professional and nice. This is my second choice for Chicago. The rooms are clean and pleasing. Could use an upgrade on the televisions however it's not a show stopper. As with other Hyatts, they offer free wifi to perferred guest. It felt like I was in college again, I could hear everything, smell the pot they were smoking, and the bass from their speakers and the sounds of the headboard slamming against the wall made earplugs useless. Called the front desk and they did their best to get them to stop. Even after the music was gone I could still hear every word of their conversations. Stayed there a few times and really wasn't too bad. Stayed there recently. Checked in, went to the room. The room was hot! Tried to cool the room but temp wouldn't come down. Called down to the front desk and was told that they turn the AC off during winter. That the only way to cool the room was to to open the windows. Wow......the hotel is located right next to Ohare.
