Cute lil small park between the backyards of Fullerton homes on the hills. I parked free on the streets, walked with my girlfriend and cat. Felt safe and nice there's little community gardens and even has someone's farm backyard to see horses. read more

Great place to hike or bike. Lots of shade, trees, and nice people. Parked at the courthouse There are wooden poles that will tell you how many miles you've accomplished. Beware of parking! They Broken My Car windows. Found this place because I was just searching for a walking trail for my dogs. When we was done with our walk I came back to 2 broken windows in my car. It took us a while to find the actual place to park for the trail and it's off Euclid in front of the sign. Ummmm, this place is gorgeous. We came here last weekend for a photoshoot for the kids. Afterwards, they ran off down the trail and had THE BEST time. We literally took hundreds of photos with our phones and they came out so well! I mean, they were already dressed up, so that helped, but the scenery is amazing. You can just come here and take photos by yourself to capture special moments. There was an area with all these decorated tree stumps in a circle. The kids were climbing on top of them and jumping from one to another. We had to leave, otherwise I think they would have played here for like an hour. We also saw the cutest gopher! I thought it was a big hamster at first, but the girls loved watching it pop in and out of its hole. Lol While walking the trail we saw lots of different dogs. I've read that people also take out their horses, but this isn't something we came across. We totally want to come again when we have more time. read more

Solid trails with wonderful greenery and blossoming but not "crazy rape seed." Trail can be accessed off of Bastanchury and takes you around the city. Fullerton is becoming quite exclusive; just take a peek at the many trails and family business just popping up with an attention to details. This might be one of my favorite easy strolls/walks/hikes in OC. I get hot and overheat easily so I love walks with shade. This path is not completely covered but provides enough shade for when I need a quick stop. During the early months of spring the wild grass, trees, and flowers are in bloom filling the pathway with lush green from top to bottom. Many people walk the Juanita Cooke Trail but not as many travel down onto this path. It feels like you're in a forest yet you're next to neighbors and cul-de-sacs. The trail is shared with horses, bikers, and wallet/joggers. Stay on the trail and be vigilant of bikers passing by. We tend to park by the courthouse off Harbor Blvd. Start off on Juanita Cooke Trail and veer off this trail a little after the half mile mark at the water station. We just went here today as a last minute activity and it was the most gorgeous day. read more

This is a nice little trail! We started out from Euclid & the street sign "Hiltscher Trail" crossing. It connects to Juanita Cooke Trail and also Laguna Park. If you combine all three trails, it makes a nice long walk. We did a little of all three trails and my cell tracker showed we did close to 6 miles roundtrip. Although it doesn't really have any inclines (if you want to count a few going in/out of Bastanchury Rd., but it definitely makes up for it by long distance walking/jogging options What it does offer that most don't is a lot of areas of shade! If your more of an incline person, this trail will disappoint and probably bore you. I myself love inclines, but am open to ones that are flat. If you do the trail to Laguna Park, the one perk is that there are restrooms there. Laguna Park (another review), a cute man made lake that offers fishing, is a nice pit stop to refresh yourself and you can even make it a quick picnic if you wish, before heading back on the trails Although it is a nice neighborhood where it's located, women should always exercise precaution and have a buddy or two to go with. I say this, because of the recent events at Griffith Park and also on the day we went, saw a strange man (that appeared homeless) creped out of nowhere and was glad I was not by myself. It doesn't matter how nice the area is, people do appear out of the wood work of every nook and cranny and you have to be defensive for your own safety now a days. There are horse stalls on some property's along the way, so you get a nice view of the horses and the scent of being on a farm. I loved it! On most warm/hot days always be on the lookout for snakes. I recommend this one to those who love to do long walks and can't do inclines, it's really a nice, quaint little trail in the city of Fullerton. There are some spots (once you familiarize yourself with it) that you can park and start the trail, I don't remember offhand the names of the streets, but its easy to figure out after the first time you go. Great park, especially for dogs. The path is very wide and there are a lot of shady spots to rest. A very scenic walk with beautiful houses along the way. Mostly even terrain with the exception of a small few hills. Would definitely recommend this trail! read more

Hopefully they realize after tonight they need to manicure the trees since they ruined 3 cats and thankfully no elderly or disabled people were there. They don't care about tamaracks apartments next door to them, they do not care at all. read more

We love this trail and go on it through out the year as much as we can! It's a beautiful wooded path which blooms brightly during the winter months after the rains. My 9 year old son has taken his bike on this path for years! So grateful for this in our neighborhood! read more

This is a nice trail close to my work which makes it easy to come on my break. The trail is not a lot of up and down but it's a nice peaceful walk. The whole way is dirt along with lots of trees surrounded. A lot of the bushes and leaves are all dead which is too bad because it would look really nice. I always see lots of squirrels running thru the trees. They have a bike trail to keep away from the joggers and walkers. This trail leads you to a bridge which is about where I go. I park along Euclid which can fit probably about 5 cars. It's nice trail to get a quick little workout in! read more

This is an all dirt trail so I wouldn't wear your nicest shoes. It's mostly a flat terrain so it's nice for jog. I see dogs everywhere so this trail is definitely dog-friendly. Not too much shade here but there are lots of trees. The Juanita Cooke trail and the Hiltscher Park connect so you can get lost if you aren't paying attention to the signs, but this is really easy and I would recommend it for runners. It's not challenging at all. I always park at the Fullerton courthouse where there is ample parking. Easy enough for children to walk and for people to take their strollers or bikes because the paths are wide. Lots of nice houses to admire and if you're lucky, you'll see someone riding their horse on the trail. read more

Great little trail behind nice homes. I will def. be back here because it is just a slice of heaven in the suburbs.. When you are there.. you feel like you are in a totally different place away from the city.. It is a short little trail but it connects to Juanita Cooks or something like that.. Just don't take lefts because you will end up in the street area and will have to either go back from where you came from or walk on the streets for a long while until you get all the way back to where you parked. Beautiful easy 4mi trail for beginners, kids, and dogs with scenic horse routes. I love this simple dirt trail that runs along the back of a residential Fullerton track. You can start at multiple points (detailed below) and get in a solid 4 mile run with plenty of overgrown trees for sufficient shade. If coming from South Fullerton: Park at the Orange County Superior Court House or the Ralph's supermarket parking lot. Your trail will begin here (only one way to go/ Westbound), easy run along the dirt trail, down to the opposite end of the track, bust a U, take Hiltscher Park trail around and back to where you started, approximately 4miles. If coming from North Fullerton: Park on the street at the corner of Morelia and Bastanchury, you'll see tons of cars parallel- parked on Morelia you can't miss the entrance. Walk across the street at the signage entrance of Juanita Cooke Trail. Climb up the sloped entry, jog/run down to Hiltscher Park Trail, follow the trail to the end and U-turn back to Juanita Trail. Jog/ Run Juanita (North/ East) to the end (Ralph's back lot) and back to where you started 4 Miles. Sounds complicated but SO DANG EASY! Perfect afternoon walk/ jog/ run/ hike/ bike with the family and pups in a quiet residential neighborhood. During school time there are plenty of kids jogging with their after school sports groups so you know it's safe. read more

I enjoy walking the trail here. I usually pump out a workout on my lunch hour and walk the trail. Although it isn't very long it is a beautiful sight. I enjoy all the trees and wildlife around. There are some beautiful back yards from large homes that border the trail and I enjoy looking at them too!! Some have horses which are out and trotting. Great little park for hike, a bit on the short side as I believe its only around 1.7 miles but a fun hike nonetheless. Watch out for bees as both times on walked down the left path several swarms of bees were coming out the tree trunk near the bridge. Great place for a short dog walk, good scenery, good shade and good people. read more

I love this place! Fortunately it's close to my house so I bike here at least a few times a week. It's very serene and you forget that you're in Fullerton. The only annoying thing is that many of the people walking like to, illogically, walk right in the middle of the path. Also, people bring their dogs here but I wouldn't recommend it because of the many cyclists that zoom through. read more

Great place for a run. The trail is pretty flat so its a good place to get a quick run out of the way. Its about a 3 mile turn around.

This trail was a bit challenging for me to find. With the address on yelp, I ended up arriving at someone's house. I found a small area for parking by the "Hiltscher Trail" light but going along the trail I noticed many people street parked in the neighborhood between this trails and the adjoining one which could be more convenient as you are not trying to back out and get in from a relatively busy street. The trail itself is flat and short. I loved that the trail was open with plenty of space for my dogs to explore. As someone who has a hypersensitive dog, this kind of layout is great for me to reroute my dog or make space for pedestrians. There are pockets of shade, but on a warm day like today it was still on the warm side. Overall, great for an easy walk. read more

very spacious and lots of trees to give shade. the fountain they built is so beautiful and the trees and grass are beautiful. you can bring your dogs here and have parties or a picnic with your love ones here. the trails are medium length, the stairs are really an exercise. there is also a play ground for your kids to go and have fun i recommend family and anyone really to come. read more

This is absolutely the best trail I've been on, probably because it's been the only trail I've been on lol but I usually start at the Hiltscher Trail that runs into the Juanita Cooke Greenbelt Trail and I usually walk the Hiltscher Trail because the dirt is bulky and uneven then when I get to the Juanita Cooke Greenbelt Trail I usually run it and the dirt is more even and flat. Be careful because when it's windy the dust goes everywhere. Bring sunglasses because the sun will peek. They do have water faucets just in case someone needs water. If you go north on the Juanita Cooke Greenbelt Trail you run into the Bud Trail and there's a lake you can run around. There's usually a lot of people so it's safe to run alone or walk alone. There's a few steep hills but anyone can walk through them. Be careful for the bikers! They ride super fast! read more

Every run is somewhat different because of how it connects to other trails, or depending were you park (Richman Knls, Valencia Mesa or Bastanchury or Laguna). I like that it gets a little busy(I run by myself), yet there is plenty of room to past people and everybody has been super friendly. read more

I came here today and had a lovely walk. It's peaceful and beautiful. Everything was amazing until my Husband and I got back to our car and the window was broken into. It was 3pm on a Saturday and we parked right off Euclid! There were no valuables in the car to be stolen, so they broke the window for absolutely no reason. Anyway, the trail is great, but maybe only if you live within walking distance. Other reviewers have also had their cars broken into, so it's not an isolated incident. read more

The hubby wanted to go hiking so I thought this place would be great. I've had this park bookmarked for a while and it seemed like a great trail for a short stroll. The drive here was fun since we kept looking at all the big and nice houses. Parking was easy and on the street. We took the oath that most of the bikers used since the straight path seemed boring. There were only about 5 people that we saw that day. We also found 3 geocaches on this trail and it was really fun trying to find them. We were also surprised to get up close to the horses. I got to touch one of them and it was such a sweetie pie. We reached the end of the trail and we headed back after unsuccessfully looking for our last geocache. This trail is super easy to do and has lots of shade and beautiful scenery. Definitely have to go back and head towards the lake. read more

Great hike for beginners. Can finish the whole trail in about 1.5 hours at a slow pace. The best thing about this trail is that it allows bikes, dogs, horses, running, walking so it's a great trail for everyone. Best place to get started is behind the Ralphs on harbor. You can park by the superior court of California parking lot (no permit needed on weekends). If you trail run this is a great one because most of the trail is flat/low inclination. Calm environment and other friendly hikers. A good recurrent spot for weekend runs :) read more
