And I've been scammed on StyleSeat by Someone who had hacked into a barber's profile. I decided to try yelp since I was striking out on StyleSeat. Troy was beyond amazing! I called that morning to find out if they even serviced four--year-olds. He answered. He said they serviced 4 yr olds He said he had same day availability . In my haste I booked the appointment online but did not pay attention to the barber who I selected. As luck would have it, I was in a fender bender down the street from the barbershop 30 minutes before the appointment so I called to cancel due to the fact i was going to be late waiting on the police. Troy answered and mentions that I had not booked with him but the other barber allowed me to cancel. Troy actually drove to meet me at the accident site because he said he was heading in my direction. He told me that once he was done running an errand he would still give my son a haircut. I was nervous. So many people had screwed up cutting this little boys hair. Not Troy!! He was patient and even danced to my son singing Baby Shark while he was in the chair. He pulled up a chair and let me sit close by when most barbers wave you off to the waiting area. We will definitely be back! Glad to have found a convenient, family friendly barber shop!

He asked for a blonde buzz cut, which online "starts at $150," I would personally assume it would be around $150 because dying a buzz cut shouldn't require that many products or time. First, he put the bleach on his long, very curly hair, which caused it to be patchy at best. He then gave very specific instructions for his haircut of "2 on the side and 5 on top." He left the salon with an uneven haircut, and patchy/uneven blonde going all around his head. I really can't believe they allowed him to leave like that. In addition, he paid $205, for a second bleaching service that he didn't get to get to his desired blonde, because he didn't have the materials and his color specialist wasn't in. When these issues were brought up, they offered to fix it, but at this point he, nor did I, trust them to fix anything. He ended up offering a refund for ... the service he was charged for and didn't receive. Since then, he has gotten no response. I'm posting this because it was something he was excited to do and a luxury for a man to go get their hair dyed in a salon, but he ended up spending more than he'd wished with a haircut and dye job that he had to get fixed elsewhere, which obviously cost more money. Not only do I think he deserves the refund for the service not recieved, because why was he charged in the first place, but a refund for everything, because letting someone leave with a clearly uneven job on all accounts is sloppy and unprofessional.
