I tried their churrasco and trifongo (mofongo de plátano verde, plátano maduro, and yuca combined) It can get lively with a crowd and music, depending on the time of day, but that's part of the Piñones experience. One thing to keep in mind is that the beach access nearby isn't directly connected to the restaurant area, so if you're planning to visit both, having transportation makes things much easier. If you're walking, be prepared for a longer trek than you might expect. Overall, this spot is worth a stop.

The Reef Bar or should I say, The New Reef has the kind of vibe you dream of when visiting Puerto Rico. Not only do they serve traditional Puerto Rican Cuisine, but the restaurant has Outdoor seating with incredible Ocean views. Unfortunately, the view also includes the trash below. Our server accidentally broke the carne one and, without missing a beat, threw in an extra on the house. That kind of easygoing generosity is exactly the vibe you want from a roadside spot. The bacalaito had great flavor, though I'd have loved a little more crunch on it. Service was friendly and fast throughout. All of this (food, drinks, tax, and tip) came in under $25.
