Went in with my famous last words, "I'm not too hungry", and ended up consuming two entire delicious sushi rolls. They were so good in fact that I forgot to snap a photo! I had the shrimp tempura roll, and a Tuna California roll both of which were very large in size. There was no skimping and the ingredients tasted s fresh and high quality. Wait staff made us feel comfortable and non-rushed with great personalities. Finished off the meal with the tempura fried bananas and vanilla ice cream which was delicious! They also had amazing music playing. It was all covers of the Smith's. And their cocktails definitely packed a punch! Way more than I expected for a lunch drink :)

I am a sucker for good sushi and this place has some yummy sushi. Was craving it for a while and was surprised they were opened late on a Sunday. Got there around 10:30 pm and service was pretty quick. The Dragon roll was so good, we had 2 of them. We had salmon and zucchini kabobs which were delicious. The fried ice cream .. can't wait to come back

When I first moved down back in 2016 & saw this restaurant and being that's in my neighborhood I figured I give it a try. Well let's just say I haven't been back til tonight! Yes all these years passed & I didn't think twice until a cousin of mine was in the area & wanted sushi so I said let me give it another try. It did not disappoint I enjoyed the ambiance & the food was good. Will it take me somewhat years to come back no! I'll be back soon.

I made the mistake of giving into my ramen craving with little to no research and found myself at Hiro. Needless to say, the only redeeming qualities were that the restaurant was clean and the server was nice. I ordered the ramen which tasted like dirty seawater with eggshells floating around in it. I do not recommend!

This used to be one of my favorite places to have sushi and other Japanese food, but sadly they are just falling down by the wayside, and it's sad. After the new Brazillian owners came in (2 years more less), they made everything ala carte, so when your entree came with a soup, salad and white rice, it is all additional now. What's worse is the portions have shrunk which is a double whammy. I still love their salad dressing which is what I use on everything but there are so many better sushi establishments open now in the area, this one is not one of them. Service is decent but I wish their food was better.

I've been coming here for at least 15 years. The sushi always hits the spot. It's fresh, super well-priced and delicious. The ambiance is an Ibiza chill lounge vibe... highly recommend it. Come as you are. The service is great, kind and attentive. A fave when in the area.

Dropped in at one of the best restaurants for late night dinner after clubbing, you can never go wrong with Hiro's. Service is excellent and the food is great!!!

My friends live around the area so we went out for food and I couldn't have been any more satisfied with what they chose. Went on a Sunday night and while it was empty when we first got there it got busier soon after and it's not hard to tell why. The service was timely, the sushi was great and the restaurant itself was clean and larger than one would think from the outside as part of it after coming in is a bar area. Would come again if in the area

Pretty good sushi restaurant, I am surprised to see they only have 3.5 starts. We went or late lunch/early dinner. The service was fast and good. Food was delicious, sushi was really fresh. The only thing that I felt not authentic is the Japanese pizza and fried ice cream. The pizza was tasty, but not like the traditional Japanese made. Ice cream was bad, taste like stay in an odor fridge for too long.

We, of course, shared the spinach artichoke dip to start and our server anticipated our request and brought out additional chips and salsa for the table. I then enjoyed the kale salad with the yellowtail which was incredible. The fries with the special fry seasoning were fresh and crispy and paired well with the spicy aioli. My boyfriend loved his crispy chicken sandwich, which he orders every time we go to a Hillstone restaurant. The only not positive thing I have to share is that somehow there was a hair buried in our salt shaker, like mixed in with the salt. When i showed our server, he apologized, but did not do anything to correct the situation. We still had an excellent experience.

On top of that, they refuse to make even the slightest accommodation or deviation from the menu--none whatsoever. The food used to be very good here, but that's no longer the case. And whatever you do, don't order the crab cakes. While they contained very little filler, they had absolutely no seasoning and were completely tasteless. Save your money and go elsewhere.

The setting in Bal Harbour is beautiful, very polished but still relaxed. It's definitely the kind of place you go for a nice dinner where you want things to feel a little elevated without being stuffy. Service was solid overall--attentive and professional, though at times it felt a bit rushed, like they were trying to keep the pace moving more than letting you fully enjoy the experience. Food-wise, there's a lot to love. The sushi was fresh and well-executed, and some dishes really stood out with great flavor and presentation. That said, a couple of items felt a bit underwhelming compared to the price point--good, but not quite memorable. Portions also lean on the smaller side, so it can add up quickly. All in all, it's a great spot with a cool vibe and very good food. Not flawless, but definitely worth going--especially if you're in the area and want a stylish dinner with consistently good quality.

We walked through the lobby to the restaurant, which is situated overlooking the Haulover inlet (far enough away from the nude beach so your meal is not ruined, LOL!). There is indoor and outdoor seating; both have great views. You can also sit at the bar. The vibe is upscale nautical. The server was great; friendly and just attentive enough! We opted to sit inside as the humidity level was near 100% and there were storm clouds brewing. If you opt to sit inside, bring a cover up as the AC is working very well here! During our meal, the usual afternoon storm arrived and provided a dramatic show, complete with theatrical lightning! We had the ceviche and watermelon feta salad to start. The ceviche was super fresh and beautifully tart. The watermelon on the salad was at peak ripeness! Next, we had the chipotle rubbed shrimp tacos - two tacos with two giant shrimp nestled inside alongside avocado. I did not partake of the cheeseburger, but Larry needed a nap when we got home, so I think it did it's job. The fries that came with it were excellent. I'm not a fan of flan - I dislike the texture - but the taste and presentation were beautiful. The sorbet was a surprising standout. They were out of blood orange, so I was offered mango or lime instead. I have a mango tree that fruits all summer and I am sick of mango at this point, so I opted for lime. It was unbelievably delicious! Tart, creamy even though it's dairy free, absolutely refreshing! In all, Artisan serves basic food executed very well in a beautiful setting with expert service. Well worth it!

Lovely staff all around attentive, warm, and professional. The ambiance inside was on the quieter side and felt a bit stale, with not many people around, but still pleasant. We chose to sit outside for the much nicer view, which definitely elevated the experience. We decided to try the Miami Spice menu, honestly, that's the main reason we picked this spot and it turned out to be a great deal. From appetizers to dessert, everything was enjoyable. While there wasn't a standout "wow" moment with the food, there were no disappointments either just a solid, satisfying lunch. Outside of the Miami Spice pricing, the regular menu does lean on the higher side, so for us, this special menu made it well worth it. Overall, it was a nice afternoon out with good food, great service, and a beautiful view.

We were traveling with our 7-month-old (his first trip!), and I specifically wanted somewhere close to our hotel but still special. I found Morla while searching "best restaurants in Bal Harbour," read through the reviews and their story, and immediately booked. Full disclosure: my husband is not a big seafood person, so this felt like a bit of a gamble. But he does like Peruvian and Mexican flavors... and somehow, Morla completely won him over. By the end of dinner, he said it's one of his favorite restaurants in the world--and we've eaten at quite a few 2-3 Michelin star spots globally. We booked the first seating, which I'd highly recommend if you're dining with a baby. The space feels trendy but still intimate and warm--not stuffy at all. You can really feel that it's a husband-and-wife-run restaurant. To my surprise, my husband went for the tasting menu (again... with a baby in tow ), and every single course delivered. The seafood and ceviche were incredibly fresh, and the flavors were so thoughtful and unique without being overcomplicated. Portions were perfect too. We left satisfied, not overly stuffed or still hungry (which honestly happens a lot with tasting menus). I don't drink right now since I'm nursing, but I had a few small sips of my husband's wine and even that was excellent. What really stood out, though, was how kind and welcoming they were to our baby. We didn't see other kids there, but we never felt out of place. Sharon and Rúben were so warm -- smiling at him, engaging with him, and making us feel comfortable the entire time. No weird looks when he got a little fussy or when I needed to nurse, which any parent will appreciate. All in all, worth every penny. Thoughtful food, genuine hospitality, and just an all-around memorable experience. Would 100% come back.

We came as a girls' night out, sharing plates and ordering "just one more dish"... and then another. The Truffle Wild Mushrooms Polenta was incredibly rich and silky, deeply earthy without feeling heavy. The Pappardelle Tomato was perfectly cooked, vibrant, and comforting in the best way. And the Cabbage "cacio e peppe"? Unexpected, bold, and absolutely addictive. The raw fish dishes were also a highlight, beautifully sliced, ultra-fresh, and paired with bright citrus, herbs, and crunch that elevated the fish without overpowering it. The grilled fish was crisp on the outside, tender inside, and plated with a smooth, flavorful puree that tied everything together effortlessly. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is a whole vibe. As the night goes on, the lights dim, the music comes on, and it transforms into the perfect setting for a stylish dinner that slowly turns into a fun night out with friends.
