Filet mignon and shrimp hibachi dinner.
    Keith H.

The filet mignon hibachi dinner can be served at your table without the yelling, banging, and singing at the grill. I had the filet/shrimp and along with the veggies, salad, and soup, this was a 5-star meal. The steak with the yum yum sauce was the best I've had in years. Great, non-intrusive service. Best meal I've had in awhile.

The sushi was the biggest I e ever seen. The fish was like a filet on each giant piece. Little too much for my liking

The service is incredibly helpful, professional & friendly! The atmosphere is incredible, & dining in the wine cellar is a must!! There are no wrong choices here, everything is seriously phenomenal! The steak tartare is a great starter to share with the table, the amount of crab in the crab cakes is fantastic, and serving the caesar in a parmesan tuile makes it that much more fun to eat! The boar shank I had made for the perfect winter meal, it is fall off the bone tender & the sweet potato gnocchi pairs so well with it! The salmon florentine is another beautiful dish & you have to enjoy the amazing wine selection they offer!

It was a bit chilly out , so We started with the mushroom bisque special. It was so good I want the recipe and would literally put this on top of everything I cook at home!!! Misty our waitress suggested the burger and it was as good as advertised! My husband ordered it but I beefed for at least 2 more bites after tasting bit ! So good. I wanted the crispy chicken sandwich which apparently Is also popular, but needs some greens. I ended up ordering the kiwi strawberry salad ( kale ) and she allowed me to add crispy chicken on top. Best of both worlds! I will say the crispy chicken is VERY spicy FYI . Ambiance is cute. They have indoor & outdoor seating. Owe sat indoors and it was fun to watch the cooks at work. We would definitely make it a priority if ever visiting this area again !

What truly sets this restaurant apart, however, is the incredible level of customer service they provided after our visit. While leaving to head to the park with our younger children, I accidentally left behind my favorite pair of sunglasses--brand new and purchased just a week before our trip. When I called the restaurant, they had thankfully found them. Not only did they hold onto them for me, but they went completely above and beyond by carefully packaging and mailing them back to me. They even made sure they were protected so they wouldn't break during shipping. I was so relieved and incredibly grateful for the kindness and effort their team showed. It's rare to find a business that cares this much about its customers long after they've left the restaurant. Thank you for turning what could have been a disappointing situation into such a positive experience. We will definitely be back on our next trip up north. Cheers!

Second, the popcorn. The end. Now the bad news. Everything else. We are veterans restaurant/bar/cocktail lounge/ brewery patrons, so should've tuned into the fact that the place was empty at 7:30 even on a Tuesday night. My wife wanted a Chardonnay but was unfamiliar with one of them and asked for a taste. Seriously? What bartender sends a taste of wine in a shot glass with literally a quarter of that shot glass holding a "taste?" My wife had no idea what this wine was supposed to taste like so ordered a glass of Decoy, which was decent but quite overpriced. I ordered a Bellaire Brown out of the can which was cold & non-ruinable, thank God! We ordered a pizza with pepperoni, which used to be quite good here. Not anymore. As hard as it was to believe, in 8 slices there were NINE pieces of pepperoni. Total. We wondered if the kitchen was instructed to only use one piece per slice & maybe an extra one got slipped in by mistake. The pizza was undercooked, crust was tasteless, cheese bland, and sauce was not close to Italian. Maybe Contadina with a little oregano thrown into it. If you're a fan of Red Baron or other frozen pizza, stick to that because it's better. The best part of the pizza was the red pepper flakes we buried it with. I don't know if the new owners are cheap, unaware of why this place was once popular and populated, but we shan't be back soon. And from other recent reviews and the lack of crowd were not the only ones. Sad.

My friend ordered the kabob dinner and said it was good...but over $20 for some veggies is crazy. My gyro and truffle fries....honestly I should have just sent them back. This is one of the most disappointing meals I've had recently. They put a tomato paste on it that I almost requested without, but trusted it would be interesting. It literally tasted like cheap canned tomato paste. Gross and certainly doesn't blend well on a gyro. The lamb meat itself had a decent taste, but the way it is served makes it difficult to eat in a pita. Gyros are typically chopped or shaved lamb which makes it easier to eat and helps ensure you're getting more lamb per bite. Served in these strips, it was just falling apart and not blending with the feta. The fries...terrible. Just terrible. $6 to sub truffle fries which seems like too much but I hadn't had them in a long time so had to go for it. Listed in subs it simply says truffle fries, so I didn't know they were going to be covered in liquid cheese. They ARE listed in appetizers with the full description but I didn't look there until after bc I didn't order an appetizer. The cheese was awful, completely overwhelmed the TINY bit of truffle taste, and SO salty! Take a look at the picture and decide for yourself if the gyro and fries is worth $23. I eat a lot of gyros, and this being the most expensive one I've had is the worst. Heads up that they charge a service fee. Doesn't bother me as I always tip at least 20% but no one pointed that out and I'm not really sure what it's for. Does that go into the servers pocket or? Won't be going back to find out.
