    Espresso Old Fashioned. Simply delightful!
    Amy W.

This quaint little distillery was a perfect spot for a warm sunny day! They had the garage doors open and music playing. They distill their liquor at another spot but carry and sell it there. I love espresso Martinis and I love old fashioneds. When I saw an espresso old fashioned on the menu it really piqued my interest. Omg. It was absolutely ridiculously good!! I'm hoping to duplicate it. I would go back just for that! The bartenders were great and very helpful. After all this alcohol it was time for an afternoon nap!

My wife and I stopped into Gypsy Cocktail Bar on our first night in Potosi and really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was lively and fun, with a slightly younger crowd than us, but everyone was welcoming and friendly. Our server was great--helpful and knowledgeable in recommending cocktails we both ended up loving. The live music was a highlight; the guitarist playing that Friday night was truly exceptional. We liked it so much, we returned the following evening and had another pleasant visit, this time at a table instead of the bar. One suggestion: it would be great if they offered some small bites or charcuterie to accompany the drinks. All in all, a great spot to kick off a night out in town.

This is a huge, beautiful venue. They do gin, rum, and vodka. Being Michigan and this time of year there were many cherry flavors which I loved! We went late in the day and had to go up to the bar for drinks (not sure if it's always that way) but the bartenders were friendly and speedy. You can tell it must be very busy at times- lots of space and parking and they even have a helipad!

An absolute must stop in the petoskey area! The high fives company has taken an old equestrian barn, and completely transformed it into a 42,000 ft distillery and tasting room. There's an amazing bar area in the front, complete with a lounge area and pool/darts. Wanting some sunshine? There's a porch area with seating and games for beautiful views of the bay. The crown gem in the HUGE open seating area. The staff is super helpful, and can make you one of their custom cocktails, or one of your choosing. Hungry? Don't worry. There's two food options, Dusty's and Libe Lula. We opted for libe- and I will be talking about the food for hours. SO good. Great atmosphere, and even better drinks. A crown gem in the petoskey area!

Great views. Drinks (I tried Knockout Punch, my wife tried Pear Blossom) were outstanding. Family-friendly atmosphere with plenty for kiddos to keep entertained. Service at food options (Fresh Coast Sliders and Libe Lula) and at bar was warm and inviting. Food at both options was delicious. Definitely worth the drive and stop if you're visiting or heading through Petoskey.

Service was awesome! The wife and I stopped in to check it out. Beautiful setting and the spirits were great! Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Gorgeous facility but neither my husband nor I enjoyed the drinks we ordered: old fashioned and a lavender gin cocktail. Disappointing!

To start, the atmosphere is beautiful, with the restaurant right on the harbor of Little Traverse Bay. The ambiance inside was welcoming, with the bar being connected to the outside seating. The service was also amazing, helping out with food and drink recs as well as constantly checking in. The food and drink were the stars of the show. We had the ahi tuna tacos, sticky ribs, crispy shrimp bao buns, and buffalo chicken lollipops. There were so many mouth-watering shareable options that we had to just get a bunch of those. Loved every bite! The drinks were also phenomenal. I tried the moon rabbit, which ended up being one of my favorite drinks I've ever had. Gin, ginger, lime, cucumber, and sesame oil - unbelievably refreshing combination, give it a try. Overall this place was phenomenal and it will now be a must have on future trips up north!

It sits right on the water, making it the perfect spot for a nice meal with a gorgeous view. I'll be honest--the food used to be pretty mediocre in my opinion, but I'm not sure what changed because they have seriously stepped up their game! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We had the shrimp bao buns, burrata, lobster pappardelle, and the flank steak with grits, and every single dish was a 10/10. The flavors are unique, interesting, and so well done. The portions are also surprisingly generous. It's definitely on the pricier side, but you're getting high-quality food AND a substantial amount of it, so it feels well worth it. The restaurant is beautiful and clean, and the service is always excellent. If you're in the Bay Harbor area, I'd definitely recommend giving Nomad a try--you won't be disappointed!

My friend ordered the kabob dinner and said it was good...but over $20 for some veggies is crazy. My gyro and truffle fries....honestly I should have just sent them back. This is one of the most disappointing meals I've had recently. They put a tomato paste on it that I almost requested without, but trusted it would be interesting. It literally tasted like cheap canned tomato paste. Gross and certainly doesn't blend well on a gyro. The lamb meat itself had a decent taste, but the way it is served makes it difficult to eat in a pita. Gyros are typically chopped or shaved lamb which makes it easier to eat and helps ensure you're getting more lamb per bite. Served in these strips, it was just falling apart and not blending with the feta. The fries...terrible. Just terrible. $6 to sub truffle fries which seems like too much but I hadn't had them in a long time so had to go for it. Listed in subs it simply says truffle fries, so I didn't know they were going to be covered in liquid cheese. They ARE listed in appetizers with the full description but I didn't look there until after bc I didn't order an appetizer. The cheese was awful, completely overwhelmed the TINY bit of truffle taste, and SO salty! Take a look at the picture and decide for yourself if the gyro and fries is worth $23. I eat a lot of gyros, and this being the most expensive one I've had is the worst. Heads up that they charge a service fee. Doesn't bother me as I always tip at least 20% but no one pointed that out and I'm not really sure what it's for. Does that go into the servers pocket or? Won't be going back to find out.
