Dr. Kosins identified the problem which was an encapsulated breast implant and was able to have me scheduled for surgery the following week. I was very skeptical about undergoing surgery because I have severe sleep apnea and a vocal cord paralysis. Dr. Kosins provided me with words of reassurance, which gave me the confidence to move forward with the procedure. The surgery went forward without any complications, and my pain decreased significantly. Now it is totally gone. Dr. Kosins was very knowledgeable about complications with breast implants and handled the situation brilliantly. I am very pleased with my results. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the outcome of my breast augmentation and with the level of follow-up support afterward. I had surgery on May 5, 2025. Around 4-5 months post-op, I began noticing significant asymmetry developing. By the time I returned for my follow-up appointment in September, the issue had already become very noticeable. At this point, I developed capsular contracture on my left side, causing the breast to feel hard, tight, and unnatural. On the right side, the implant dropped significantly lower than the left, creating visible asymmetry and uneven nipple positioning. I also experienced poor scar healing around my right areola, with the scar remaining thick, raised, and persistently itchy nearly a year later. To be fair, Dr. Kosins did acknowledge the asymmetry during my September appointment, discussed revision options with me, and his office provided information regarding the Allergan warranty coverage. I understand capsular contracture is a known risk of breast augmentation surgery and not necessarily the result of negligence. However, what left me disappointed was the lack of continued follow-up and support afterward. After the initial discussion regarding revision options and warranty information, there was no further outreach, follow-up phone call, scheduling assistance for next steps, or even scheduling of my one-year post-op appointment/check-in. As a patient navigating an upsetting complication less than a year after surgery, that absence of communication left me feeling unsupported and alone in the process. I never expected perfection, and I understand complications can happen with any surgery. But when complications do occur, communication, reassurance, and aftercare matter just as much as the surgery itself. Patients deserve to know not only how successful outcomes are handled, but also how they are supported when results do not go as planned.

First off, the front desk team and consultation was not pressuring at all. It was very informative and was a clear process from the beginning. Also, the AviClear treatment here was ten times more affordable than any other place I consulted with and with almost no side effects compared to oral acne medication like Accutane. I've been struggling with acne since I was a teenager and finally found a solution! Nima was fantastic the entirety of the treatment regime and helped keep me comfortable the entire time. Within the first two weeks of the first treatment I started seeing clearing and continued seeing additional clearing through the treatment process. It takes a few months after the final (third) treatment for full effects to take place, but I'm already so happy with the results. I loved the office and Nima so much that I am now doing laser hair removal with them and that has also been a lovely process. I couldn't recommend Nima and the Sajjadian team more!

My Experience Before…read moremy appointment, I was very clear that I wanted filler in my chin and the lateral/sides of my cheeks. I specifically did not want filler in my front/central cheeks because I had previously gone through a difficult process to dissolve filler from that area. I discussed my treatment plan with the office manager and another injector before seeing the doctor. The NP also marked the lateral cheek area where I wanted treatment, which made me feel confident that my instructions were clearly understood. When the doctor came in, I again showed him in the mirror exactly where I wanted the filler. I asked him to do my chin first and then my cheeks. After numbing, he injected my chin first. I was asked to look in the mirror afterward, but there was already bleeding and swelling, so I could not really assess the result. He then moved on to my cheeks. I did not have a mirror during the cheek injections and was expecting the filler to be placed only where I had pointed on the sides of my cheeks. When he later told me he had 0.1 mL remaining and had me look in the mirror, I became extremely anxious when I saw my face and noticed what appeared to be injection in the front cheek area( the exact area I had specifically said I did not want treated. I told him that I only wanted the remaining filler on the side of my cheek, and he said that he did so. They took after photos, but at that point I was feeling cold, nervous, nauseous and overwhelmed and just wanted to leave. I have had filler before, and this experience was very different for me. I could feel distinct, movable, marble-like areas in my cheeks and a firm area on my chin that felt very close to the surface. This made me concerned about the placement and whether the filler had been placed appropriately. I was also not informed about an additional credit-card financing/service charge when my consultation fees were initially taken over the phone. I was not prepared for the additional expense and believe the available payment options and associated fees should have been clearly explained beforehand. I chose this practice because I expected a high level of care and communication. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing, and I deeply regret having the procedure done here. I reached out to the practice about my concerns, and they offered to dissolve the filler at no charge and reimburse me for 50% of what I paid for the filler treatment. However, I had already decided to have the filler dissolved by another provider because I was not comfortable having the corrective procedure performed at the same practice. I have also sent them photos documenting the result after dissolving. I had previously required multiple dissolving treatments for filler in my front cheek area and ultimately had to use a provider offering ultrasound-guided dissolving. Because of that experience, I was especially clear about not wanting filler in that area again. They also stopped responding to my emails instead of just trying to resolve the problem I also believe patients' time should be respected. If an appointment is scheduled for a specific time, patients should either be seen reasonably close to that time or informed in advance if there will be a significant delay.

I had previously been told by another surgeon that I would need a breast lift to get the result I wanted, but I really did not want the additional scars or a lift if it wasn't absolutely necessary. Dr. Ip took the time to evaluate my anatomy and gave me another option that made much more sense for me. We ultimately went with Motiva Ergonomix implants placed over the muscle/subfascial, without a lift, and I am SO happy that I trusted him. My surgery and recovery were honestly easier than I ever expected. I had very minimal pain, never needed the prescription pain medication, and felt extremely well taken care of throughout the entire process. I'm now several weeks out and already love my results more and more as everything continues to settle. They look beautiful, feminine and proportionate to my body, which was exactly what I wanted. What I appreciated most about Dr. Ip was that I never felt pressured or like there was only one "correct" option. I had my consultation once again after the waited time period, we talked about fixing the holes (dents in my nose from missing cartilage), and fixing the irregularities. I booked the non refundable deposit of $1,000 after meeting with him and scheduled the surgery thinking the quote would similar to what he quoted me on email. The receptionist (I can't say names on yelp), sent me a quote of $187,050. I was floored. I lost the deposit money and we can't afford almost $200,000 for a nose job. I am filled with so many questions of why? Where did we get so lost? My emails are ignored now. I lost the money to the lawyer to the last surgeon who botched me, we're in debt from 4 surgeries that botched me, and I put all my eggs in one basket as to the hope for him to fix me for good. We can't even get a loan for $200,000. I'm really down and absolutely shocked that he said he would help me, but surprised me with a price tag that's insurmountable for what we can afford. It's saddening. My hope is gone for surgeons. They're greedy and money hungry. I hope this review gets him to read what emotional toll this has taken on me, and to think before you charge a patient $200,000 to fix irregularities on their nose. I'm no millionaire or billionaire, I'm a mom raising a toddler who has had a really hard time looking in the mirror. I wish he would have kept his word. Only God will judge us at the end as to how we treated those in need of help but couldn't afford a quarter million dollars to get it.

Typically, you're advised to meet with multiple surgeons before making a decision since surgery is a serious commitment, but Dr. K was actually the first and only consultation I did. I immediately felt comfortable with him and his staff right off the bat. Everyone was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. Dr. Kelishadi took the time to thoroughly evaluate my anatomy and recommended the Preservé technique with Motiva implants. He explained that I had natural asymmetry and suggested two different implant profiles (demi and full) with a 65cc difference to create better balance. I truly appreciated his honest, thoughtful approach and I am so glad I trusted his expertise because I am very happy with my results. One of my biggest hesitations about breast augmentation was fear of going under general anesthesia. The Preservé technique itself is incredible because it uses IV sedation and local anesthesia instead, and the downtime was only a few days. I made an appointment with Dr. Dubrow's office.. Within a few weeks, I was able to get an appointment and go in to have my implants removed. Currently with the implants I was a G. Due to having an lumpectomy, I was under the impression that I did not have much of my own breast tissue left and this is why the doctor recommended implants to begin with. But at this point I had had my implants replaced multiple times and continued to have trouble. When I spoke to Dr. Dubrow and his amazing assistant Jackie and explained the trouble that I was having and that I wanted the implants removed. Unfortunately, my husband was not able to attend the consultation due to how fast I was able to get my consultation so we did it over FaceTime. My husband was still hoping for a larger outcome. My expectations were anything healthy. Even if that included a size A cup. After surgery, Jackie had shared my postop surgery report with me. As I expected the chemo and radiation had damaged the tissue in my right breast to the point he had to remove a lot of tissue in order to lift my breasts evenly. Coming out of surgery with the scarring and the stitches , the swelling and everything. I definitely was completely flat chested. But as the days went on, my breast started forming and dropping just as they said they would. I am currently five months postop into my surprise. I am a 34D. Needless to say my husband is extremely happy and so am I. This has been such a wonderful experience and it is all due to a doctor's office. That truly knows what they're doing. Today is July 15, 2022 - almost a year from my 2nd procedure. Had the worst experience here. I got my first 360 lipo surgery + j plasma skin tightening back in February 2021 to heal on time for my wedding in June 2021 under local anesthesia. After the first 2-3 months I started seeing slight results, however after the 6th month mark my swelling finally began to completely go down. From there is when I started seeing ALL the imperfections and areas he missed on my stomach and mostly my back. When I went back to tell the doctor, he said that those areas "weren't missed" and that I gained weight. How can I gain weight if I was going to be a bride? I was the same weight on the scale for months! He finally gave in and said he would do another procedure for me. I had my 2nd procedure but this time I was asleep in September 2021. I also had to pay for the anesthesia cost on the surgery day. Why would I pay again if it was his fault?? Again, I wore my faja for 4 months and was getting lymphatic massages twice a week. However, after taking my faja off in January 2022 and till this day I STILL see all the areas he missed that he said he would get. I went to see him again in January 2022 and all he kept saying was that it was swollen still. He suggested to get a lymphatic massage with the machine at the office and if it didn't work then they would go back under local and just do my back. Of course it didn't help!!! I went back in March and he finally admitted that it was fat pockets. I demanded another procedure - how is that you had 2 chances to remove everything and you didn't? He said no and said that I gained weight. AGAIN, I still weighed the same, maybe even less than before the procedure. The only thing he suggested was to use a machine "to melt my fat" (same idea as cool sculpting but with heat). THEY DID NOT EVEN HAVE THE MACHINE IN THE OFFICE. He said they would call me when it comes in. It is now July 2022 and this was told me in March 2022 and still haven't received a call. Honestly he gives empty promises and says he will make you look good and remove all the stubborn fat you have such a hard time losing. I would not recommend anyone to this doctor. I also want to point out that Dr. Seify did not emphasize on wearing a compressed garment (faja) was needed for more than 2 months + getting a lymphatic massage twice a week. All other doctors I visited after my procedure said that to get best results is to wear the faja for 4-5 months to get best results + getting a lymphatic massage. Also, I went to 3 consultations with other doctors after my march visit with dr. Seify and they ALL said that my stomach area was uneven (more fat was taken off the left side than the right side) AND that barely any fat was taken out of my back. On top of that, a doctor shouldn't be blaming a patient and have 15 people in room with you (patient coordinator, PA trainers, nurse, doctor). It's a personal matter and he should admit that it's his fault and he could do a better job. He would constantly just deflect the fault onto ME. I was referred to Newport Plastic Surgery (The amazing Dr. Seify) a few years ago. I personally know and have seen lots of his patients, who look amazing and all have had different things done, all of them have different body shapes/ sizes and are new patients to years out. Still, it did take me 2 years to move forward with a mommy makeover, and I did meet other doctors to make certain I was going with the best. It was important to me to go with an experienced doctor who worked on different body types. I found that other doctors results were ONLY one way ie. Kim K types or worked on stick figure people. (Dr. Seify can do it all!) I am 5'1' sporty figure. I didn't want to look fake but I also didn't want to go 100% natural lol (boobs wise) Dr. Seify, listened to my wants and needs, and gave me a clear understanding of what could and could not be done. No fairy tale expectations and no "selling me" on procedures. I thought I needed a body lift, he let me know results could be done via mommy makeover. Dr Seify is the best. I had a tummy tuck and a breast augmentation that did not go very well. I came to see Dr. Seify and he was so reassuring. I asked about another surgery and he said you don't need that. I was surprised because most doctors just wanna make as much money as possible. He was absolutely not that way. He fixed everything that I didn't like and I came out looking 20 years younger. He also did a neck lift because he told me that would be a game changer. And it was! I look so much younger and I'm so happy with all the results. My stomach is flat, I have serious abs in the scar is less noticeable. For the breast augmentation I wanted to go smaller now that I'm 60 I didn't want huge breast. He did exactly what I wanted and that was very happy. The necklace was amazing. Another good thing about the office is all the girls there are really really nice, friendly and reassuring. The main nurse even gave me her home number in case I needed anything. Dr. Seify is an outstanding Doctor and Surgeon. He listened to my needs, was kind and sensitive. I was referred by a friend, who also said he had an amazing touch when performing any procedure. I went in to see him and indeed he does have the outstanding ability to not hurt or bruise you at all, and deliver immediate results. But I had a greater need. In the last three years I had to have emergency thoracic surgery. It left me with a very visible scar in my "Décolleté" area. He was very patient with me through all my fear based questions about reconstruction. Finally while having a micro-needling session with his OM Walaa, which is an extremely effective facial procedure, we chatted up again about my scar and decided to do it. My scar was instantly non discernible. I was very moved with my look. Again, Doctor's magic touch brought excellent results. Walaa gave me her personal number and made sure I was okay in the following days. Dr. Seify's kind and efficient nature has attracted a very caring staff. When I start this journey of research I schedule an appointment with 5 doctors. All of them have great reviews. I was not sure if this procedure is the right thing for me or not...etc millions of questions were in my mind. All doctors' visits were very transactional, they know why you are here so they assume that you are ready for the procedure. All of the doctors didn't talk much, basically, they just check me out and let the front handle my payment/ offer and that was it! For such a big procedure and the amount of money I will invest in this, I needed more attention and care from the physician. until I met Dr. Hisham, HE carefully sit down and talk with me and advice me what is good for me. and surprisingly the procedure is not a good option for me ( at least now ) HE is the only one who said that and he was very genuine. Dr Saify is a wonderful Dr that really cares about his patients. For 3 hours Dr Saify operated on silicone breast implants that were severely ruptured and he did a remarkable job. He also did nerve block so the pain was very limited. I also had a breast lift. In just a month, the breasts look so natural, the incisions are healing nicely and I feel so much better. The nursing staff, Wala, Kathy and others are so professional and caring. Dr. Wirth is a highly skilled surgeon who has all of the latest evidence based research on surgery and healing protocol, he is also super friendly. He was actually on his way to speak at a conference right after our last appointment. The front desk staff are exceptional, very friendly and always make you feel like a million bucks. The two procedures I had were injuries I received through sports. The initial injury was a split above my eye from a head butt I received from a competition in Philadelphia. I flew home to make it within with 24 hours to receive treatment from Dr. Wirth, and so glad I did since the cut required 2 layers of stitches (I believe the muscular layer and the top skin layer). Had I gone to the ER for this procedure, I would have had a pretty bad result. I also recently underwent rhinoplasty after many years of sporting nose breaks. I had so much scar tissue in my nose that I could barely breathe out of it. Dr. Wirth was able to remove cartilage from one ear (thanks to his precision, likely would have needed 2 ears), and give structure back to my nose. While the office offered me a discount for a second surgery, I still paid a significant amount out-of-pocket. Sadly, the second procedure also failed. When I reached out to Dr. Ali and his office to discuss my concerns and explore solutions, their only suggestion was to attempt the procedure a third time. I expressed that I no longer felt comfortable moving forward with them due to the risk of experiencing the same outcome. I wanted to seek care from another doctor I could trust. In response, Dr. Ali acknowledged that he may not have the necessary skill set to perform the procedure successfully and stated that he would instruct the office to issue me a refund. After taking some time to carefully consider my options, I contacted the office to request my refund--only to be told they would not be providing one. I have since spoken to others who have had similarly negative experiences with this office, and I've even heard Dr. Ali referred to as "The Butcher of Newport." The stress, time away from my family, and financial burden caused by this ordeal have been immeasurable.
