The seats are older here and not super comfortable, but I'm willing to deal because they play arthouse movies I can't see anywhere else. Parking was rough- the parking lot is tiny and requires validation I think (there was a sign on the door), but if you drive around there is some street parking that has a 3 hour limit. I prefer the location closer to me (there are so many in Denver!) but don't mind stopping in if they are playing something I have to see.

The screens are great and crisp, sound is excellent, but the seats are horrible here. The seat cushions are way too narrow and you feel yourself sliding forward a bit. They are stiff leather seats and outdated. Also, the seats have a big two inch gap at the bottom which makes it easy to lose things behind the seat. The Westminster location has much better seats that recline. The parking is much harder here compared to Westminster. I usually park in their parking lot behind the theater or on side streets but there's also a validated garage across the street. You have to validate at the front desk before you go into your theater and that gives you 4 free hours. It's also a much sketchier location compared to Westminster, especially at night. I came back to my car to see a homeless couple shooting up drugs on the Alamo staircase behind the theater. Just be aware that's a possibility here if getting out late at night. Food is great especially the BBQ chicken pizza. The homemade chocolate chip cookies are usually great but tonight they served me them in a plate that's too cramped for the soft cookies, and they therefore became deformed and fell apart. When you charge $10 for cookies, at least have them on a plate long enough for all 3 cookies like the Westminster location. I haven't been to the Littleton location in CO, but I see no reason to ever go to this location over the Westminster one unless something is only playing here.

Harkins gives me the same intimate, independent feeling vs the big-box spectacle of AMC. The theatres are a nice mid-size with spectacular audio and top-tier seating. Genuinely, their recliners are the comfiest and roomiest out there. And when people pass in front of your seat, you don't have to shrink like you're in an airplane. The rows are wide! Qualities from a bygone era. Their prices are gloriously fair, and the food is pretty good - we've become fans of the crispy chicken sandwich and margherita + bbq chicken flatbreads. The order-ahead app experience has always been reliable for me. And their staff seals the deal: friendly, attentive and helpful.

The theater itself felt like a proper cinematic space, and the D-Box seating really heightened the movie. When the horses charged into battle or the war scenes began, it genuinely felt like you were riding alongside them. The movie being the extended edition made the four-hour runtime fly by it felt immersive and nostalgic at the same time. Price: Tickets were around $25-$30, slightly higher than normal because of the D-Box experience, but I absolutely think it was worth it for how much it enhanced the film. Food & Drinks: We bought the theater small bag of popcorn, which cost around $10-$12. The theater has standard food and drink options if you want to grab snacks there. Tips: The theater was a little cold, so I'm really glad I brought a blanket. I highly recommend doing the same, especially on a chilly day. If you can, check to see if your local theater offers D-Box seating it truly adds a next-level experience to battle scenes and action sequences. Overall Experience: As a longtime Lord of the Rings fan, this was an amazing, nostalgic experience. Seeing Return of the King again, especially in theaters with D-Box, made me feel like I was watching it for the first time all over again. The ending still brought tears to my eyes, and the extended edition made it feel like a full, immersive journey. If you have the chance, I'd highly recommend catching this 25th anniversary screening. It is an Australian film from the 1980's on their large main screen about a aging drag queen going to Alice Springs from Sydney for a gig. The screen and sound system could handle the visual image with excellent sound. Last week, I saw "Moonlight" about gay black culture in Miami. The movie won the 2016 Academy Award for best picture. It was shown in one of the two upper screens. No issues. The floors were clean.

The interviewer and the staff were professional. The theatre is small enough that every seat is a good seat. The lounge holds plenty of tables and chairs with a bar and concession stand. The location is on Colfax Avenue and there's even free garage parking at the theater and Tattered Cover bookstore next door. I love that this place is local and I don't have to drive all the way to downtown. Definitely check out the Series Fest schedule and other events!

We were in tears mostly and we said no more than a sentence or two at any time. She said the others had complained. Honestly I don't believe that... they were constantly texting. What kind of power trip is this girl on ? Too bad it ruined my taste for this theater as all other employees were really terrific and worth 5 stars. This would make the movie 1/2 normal cost. The ticket person and the concessions crew had no information. It was R rated. I saw Fantasy Life released in 2024. It involved life & times of a New York Jewish family interacting with a male nanny (Manny?) in New York and St Martha's Vineyard. There was at least 30 people joining me in the theater. They also screen older movies like Red with Diane Keaton and Warren Beatty being screened next week. I plan to return.
