I always have a nice experience here. I love being able to walk to this location. The people here work really hard and keep things clean and taken care of. I'm pleased with the seating and cozy vibe here and how it's located near so many other things to do in the area. Being able to walk from Union Station is always a big deal for Ryan and I. 4DX Review - Jurassic Franchise Continues When I first heard about a new installment in the Jurassic Park franchise, the novice paleontologist in me was giddy like a schoolgirl. That excitement hit another level once tickets went on sale--she fully came out! This movie took a different turn than the previous ones, which I actually appreciated. It wasn't just the same old storyline rehashed. That said, it did have its share of slow scenes that didn't always lead anywhere. While the dinosaur action was fun to watch--and let's be real, that's why we're here--it still only made the grade of a solid C overall. Also, I really wish they had offered it in 4DX/IMAX. That combo would've made the experience much more immersive and thrilling. read more

1st time experiencing these movie theaters. Really enjoyed our time there. Easy access parking underground with elevator straight to the theaters. From what I understand regal had merged with amc so you could use your amc stubs at the concession area but was informed different. Downfall was escalators going down were out of order so we had to wait for elevator but it wasn't that much of an inconvenience. Also do not lose your parking ticket to be validated. You have 4 hours if you go to the movies so parking can be free. Our Son drove as we went on Thanksgiving he lost the ticket so he had to pay $45 to get out!! We will definitely go back. read more

Bar service was TERRIBLE The staff wouldn't accept my official Colorado ID on the my Colorado app (as a Colorado bartender it's valid even at the airport) and they said they couldn't serve us and they refused to serve the rest of our party with physical IDS and were disrespectful accusing them of lying. Before this we watched 2 parties be served before us while we were completey ignored. All of are born in the 1990s absolutely ridiculous ruined our entire experience before we even walked into the theater we paid for Emma took responsibility and wouldn't let us know the employee working under her's name. Denver shows its true colors. I went to this theater and the staff was amazing, honestly. But it's like saying the prison had prison guards. I have never seen a truer depiction of who people really are when they go to a theater or drive in traffic. True colors shine brightest. In the movie I went to see 3 people took the handicap companion seats so they would have a huge area all to themselves. No one had disabilities. One of them was the most blatantly rude people I've seen in a theater in years. When the movie started, his in-silenced, light flashing notifications on his phone began. He was scrolling social media, took texts and even played a video game for a minute. I had to go tell a manager because it was ridiculous. Then there was sleepy McSnore in one of the other handicapped companion seats. After snoring LOUD during a huge portion of the movie, he woke up, went to the restroom, then came back and fell asleep again. On top of all that they didn't have the air on and it was raining buckets outside, so it made it a hot, swampy mess inside. I was sweating and praying the air would start to move around at some point but no fans ever came on. I won't ever go see a movie in Denver again. EVER!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?! read more

This movie theater is very larger than you initially think it is when you walk into the lobby. The lobby area is standard with popcorn and all the concessions but the theaters are actually up on the second and third floor. This is a reserve seating theater and they also serve Food, alcoholic beverages, and other items. In addition to the standard concessions. There is a large community area on each floor to allow for some pre-movie consumption of libations and food to allow groups to gather . I was able to visit this movie theater during the middle of the day on a weekday so had the theater all to myself. read more

This place is behind the times in terms of food and drink offerings. No upgraded food, the standard movie popcorn/candy of which I typically consume neither. No drink options other than sodas, etc. I don't drink that, either. The location is convenient on the 16th Street Mall, so there's that. Obviously, with that said tons of bars/restaurants surround this movie theater. So you can get what you need, just not during a movie. It's a highly commercialized place. You can select your seat, order tickets online, more of the typical highly marketed movies are here, but also check for others. I did see the Betty White movie here and something very new I've not seen before is that they are selling tickets for the next UFC fight - which makes less sense since they don't sell alcohol. The seats are comfy and recline back. It really doesn't make sense to me, though, why they wouldn't update the consumable offerings. Seems so strange. read more

I would say my experience here was neither bad nor good. Pros: Seats were super comfy recliners, restrooms were generally clean, getting to catch a movie downtown. Cons. The front lobby and concession stands are in desperate need of an update. The first popcorn we got could have been fresher but the second bag we got was better. I used to like this theater a lot because they have the most comfortable seats I've seen in any theater. However, I wish they would introduce an upgrade option where I could pay like $5 for them to run the A/C during the movie so I could actually enjoy it. Also just an idea: any movie over 3 hours runtime should have a 15 minute intermission. read more

Theaters are very clean. Very easy to purchase tix online and choose your preferred seating. For those who plan their days ahead this is perfect! The recliner seats are plush. So nice. Too comfortable! I usually nap before the movie starts. . Great audio and this theater is never crowded! When you walk out you can have dinner in any of the restaurants surrounding them. Or shop before Or after a movie. A recently opened Thai restaurant across from it is amazing! The Mexican restaurant next door next to the Thai spot makes great Margaritas and one of the best dishes ever that I would almost drool every time I think about it! The only thing with this theater is the escalator. Why is it always broken? It means you have to wait in line for the elevator. They're not allowing the public to use the stairs? But most of the time you can't use the broken down escalator either, because it's blocked. For that minus one star. read more

I paid a lot for my RPX ticket and so did my friends. When I got there, three obese Latino young adult guys and girls, one with pink hair, were sitting in our seats. I politely asked them if they had these seats. They paused and the guy straight up lied to my face, saying "uh, yes". It was a bald faced lie. I showed them my ticket. They refused to show me theirs and called me racist and threatened to commit violence against me. They had no proof of tickets and seemed to have snuck in. These five were the lowest of the low. Management didn't do anything. They really need to take these things seriously because they can't keep letting these people do this. It's not right. It's not fair. So I was forced to the edges where the view was obstructed because these people took and occupied my spot and refused to move. read more

On 6/3/23, we went to see The Little Mermaid (Auditorium 8) and we were about 75% through the movie when the fire alarm goes off ! Everyone evacuated and we heard the fire truck and police sirens. No clue as to what took place. I'll update this review as I find out more information. With that aside, Auditorium 8 wasn't cleaned from the last showing so I was grossed out. I had some time to kill before my flight out of Denver so I wandered 16th Street Mall amd found this theater. It was pretty early in the day when I arrived & I caught the new Scream movie. The staff members were helpful & the snack prices weren't too bad compared to what Im used to back home. I ordered nachos & enjoyed my comfortable reclining chair as I watched the movie. This was the first time I've ever been to a theater with a table on the seat! That made snacking the most cleanest and comfiest movie experience ever. The people working at the concession stands were also very friendly and working their hardest to accommodate to the covid restrictions. Modern and comfortable amenities! To start, I love the updated kiosk options to purchase tickets from instead of waiting in line for the window agent. But with new technology comes new issues. Had to a mix up with the machine clogging up our tickets. After getting some assistance from management, our debacle was cleared up. Next is the concession stand. It had a nice little line full of afternoon movie goers. Management saw that the attendant was backlogged with patrons, so they sent out three or four other attendants to get things moving alone. Besides the wait, they have the typical snack items (popcorn, candy, etc). They also had hot items like chicken tenders and fries, cheeto flavored popcorn, nachos and cheese. They haven't updated to the new soda machine but that's okay. I like their coke product options plus the slushy machine. They also have adult beverages but you had free to go to the upstairs concession stand to get it. Getting past the food and beverage options. The theater is spacious beyond belief. Once in the theater the aisle were clean, vast, and maneuverable with the updated carpet and wood flooring. The lounge chairs were dreamy with their swivle table tops. If you are wondering if they recline, YES SIR, they do! Just reach down by your right leg on the inside of the chair is a circular button. It will have you stretched out there and still have room for other patrons to get by to their seats. The screen is large and crisp. The surround sound system is spot on. I don't have much more to say other than, if they could fix the little issues, this would easily be a five star business. read more

This is my go-to theater, as I'm a Regal Unlimited holder and live a few blocks away. Don't get me wrong: recliners are great, staff is sweet, selection of movies and food is good, but MICE! Seriously, I've watched three movies in the last two weeks here and they have some SERIOUS infestation going on. Ok, it's downtown, and I'm not even scared of rats (hence I keep going back), but when I seat in the dark I do not want to have the thought of mice crawling on my legs. They are really tiny and not your downtown, big rats, more like garden mice, but still. I've let the manager on duty to know about those encounters, of course, but wanted to register it here as well. Regal HAS to take it seriously. For users: DO NOT take a seat on or below the handicapped row if you are scarred of mice. They WILL show up! It all started when I went to see Cats; that just made the mice creepier as I was expecting to see some human faces as they danced around me. Guess that's what I get for going to see Cats. I will change my review when I no longer see mice at this location. EDIT: went today again, and there they were. Managed to capture a pic this time. read more

On one of the nights during the Denver vacation, we decided upon going to the movies. Why not? Our hotel was a city block from the Denver Pavilions where the United Artist Theater is. And we were on vacation. It's hard to believe that a couple of vacations passed when I last went to the movies in November, 2014 in the Regal Cinemas 5-Downtown Summerlin. I should go to the movies more. The United Artists (abbreviated UA from this point forward) at Denver Pavilions is the quintessential modern theater. The movie theater that I visited in Denver is not the movie theater of years past. Luxury and technology has replaced the mediocre movie theaters that I grew up with. It is important to keep in mind that if you are arriving here by automobile that UA Theater will validate four hours of parking in the Denver Pavilions. It is also important to keep in mind that if you are visiting from Lower Downtown or the Government Center areas that there is a free bus that runs up and down the 16th Street Pedestrian Mall. Whether you arrive by car, foot, or free bus; a few steps from the theater is one of the most photographed spots in Denver. This is the large DENVER letters above the Denver Pavilion. In the spirit of the newest movie theaters, assigned seating is the norm. At the time we paid around $11.50 for a ticket (about half the price of a Colorado Rockies game), the cashier directed our eyes to a map of the theater. We chose our assigned seats. Little did it matter when taken into consideration that the theater was half empty. On the walk to the theater, we passed by the massive concession stand. It featured the general movie theater staples with the addition of tap beer. On a scale equivalent to the massiveness of the concession stand are the restaurant choices by the theater. Before the show, we filled up at 5280 Burger Bar in the Denver Pavilions. With that said, I passed over patronizing the concession stand. The movie theater itself is all about the luxury experience. I was so at ease rolled back in the luxury seat. In seat parlance this is what is called a king chair. Attached to the arm rest was a cup console to hold cola and tap beer. Whether I was sitting up or rolled back, there was an uninterrupted view of the screen. Thanks to stadium seating, I could see the action on the screen instead of the back of somebody's head. And thanks to the generous space between the rows there was a nice distance from the back of somebody's head. When the movie started technology added significantly to the experience. The digital projection made the film realistic. The surround sound brought the sound of the action into the theater. This is an experience that a DVD and streaming cannot capture. One experience that I am thankful that DVD and streaming does not capture are 25 minutes of Coming Attractions. The ticket paid for an 8 PM show. On account of the fact that there was 25 minutes of advertising, it started at 8:25 PM. LOL, I guess the woman who sued a movie theater over too many Coming Attractions probably had her case thrown out. Speaking of "thrown out," it appears that in the day of social media, a lot of people taking pictures including Yelpers have thrown out the no using cell phone policy during the show ;-) By the time, I saw the last of the Coming Attractions, it dawned on me that a Coming Attraction can be a business name change. From the signage to the Coming Attractions this is a Regal Cinemas in spirit. The main reference to the UA brand that I recall was seeing it on the facade of the Denver Pavilions. After the movie ended and we were walking through the Denver Pavilions, this theater gave me some confidence that there is hope for the movie theater industry. I give this UA Theater 4 Stars. Too bad I can't say that for the movie that we saw. read more

Went to go see Top Gun in 4D and I was really impressed! The 4D experience was super fun and different. The theater was clean and the seats were comfortable and roomy. This movie theater has been here for a long time and they definitely keep up with keeping it "up to date." The parking garage makes it super easy and it's even better when you get your ticket validated so it's free to park downtown. read more

The price was normal we got slushy but other than that the movie started on time and some of the seats did not work. Wow, hadn't been here in a long time. Terrible experience. No Coke products, and the diet Pepsi was mostly soda water, no flavor. The pre-movie content was audio only with a screen saver up, even though it was promoting noovie arcade (which didn't work because there was nothing to scan on the screen). Popcorn was good, but since they don't put butter on it evenly (butter is self serve) the top was soggy and the bottom dry. They're going to have a hard time getting people back to theaters this way. I'll stick with my neighborhood Century theater in belmar. read more

Just watched Sing 2 here with some friends and family. When we entered the theater there was a long line that was about to go outside and no one really knew what the line was for. There was just one employee sitting down by the doors and scanning your tickets if you already bought some online, but wasn't helping the line at all. The employee would just sit and look at the line until someone behind us in line confronted them and then the line dispersed.. When we got to the auditorium, there were napkins on the ground, popcorn on the seats, and the tables were sticky. There was one employee that came in with a broom and spray but barely had any time to clean. She probably got half one row done before the movie started. We used the restroom and there were no paper towels.. The sink water pressure is very low. I was lucky to even have any toilet paper! Our husbands went to get popcorn (barely had a buttery taste..) and drinks for us before the movie started and they didn't get back until after 1/3 of the movie played because the lines were so long.
