It was great to hear that Hitch started his own mobile bike shop. A genuine, knowledgeable and humble friend of mine. During one of my races, I was involved in a crash. I was fine but my bike wasn't. Hicham is fantastic! I like to DIY, but when I stripped a brake caliper mounting bolt trying to replace the pads, I gave up. Tried everything and couldn't get it out. Contacted Hitchwheels through Yelp. Hicham responded within 5 minutes and was at my place in less than 1:30. Amazing since he's in Pasadena and I'm in Palos Verdes. I don't know what magic he pulled but he got the bolt out in 10 minutes. Tuned up my bike also. His price was so reasonable! Stores asked for $70 more. I got Hitch's name from a coworker who used him to get a tuneup. The coworker had very high praise for Hitch and so I reached out to have him look at 3 bikes: 2 cruisers and a road bike. For the road bike he performed a full tune-up, completely disassembling all of the components, cleaning, lubing, the whole nine yards. He also explained everything he was doing, and pointed out things that needed to be looked at and things that will likely need attention in the future. He was patient and thorough. For the cruisers we both agreed a basic tune-up would suffice. There were no surprises there (well actually, one cruiser had sat outside for a year and yet it was in surprisingly good shape). At the end of it all, every bike felt brand new. I had a great experience with Hitch, and will definitely call him first anytime I have any bike needs.
