LOVE this place! The tea is amazing and the boba is almost always super fresh! Sometimes they do have a bad batch of bobas once in a while but they're drinks are worth it every time, you won't find a place better! The place is very aesthetic and cute. The restaurant is also very clean Update during corona: I used to really like this place, but I went here 3 weeks ago and they added an additional tip on my cousins order. I went 2 weeks ago and they weren't wearing masks and then the lady ordered me to wait outside, which is fine but she could have asked nicely. As I walked back in to get my drink they were finishing up and a mans hand was place over the cup with no gloves for all of our drinks. It just was not clean. Today I decided to go again and give it one last try and the lady REMOVED her mask to make our drinks!! That was so disgusting. If you are making food and drinks WEAR GLOVES AND A MASK. Lobster ramen is what I usually get here. I would like to try other bowls. However, I think they use the same broth for all ramen. Their drinks are very good. The strawberry mango smoothie is soo sooooo soooo good. Their milk tea are flavorful and their toppings are also good. Highly recommended for drinks and food at the same joint. read more

Today my daughter and I went here I ordered the Jumble Ramen, and she ordered the Chicken Ramen. We also ordered the dragon fruit freeze things forget what they are called but they where good. First of my ramen was delicious it was a huge bowl the price was high at $25.00 but I do not order ramen all the time cause I'm from Kentucky and well I wanted it. Everything was good though it filled me up I ate the whole thing I would go back again!!!!! My daughter loved her chicken ramen she could not finish hers but she loved it and took it home. Ordered Tonkotsu Ramen and the chicken ramen, both were very good. The Cha siu pork was excellent in the Tonkotsu ramen and the fried chicken cutlet in the chicken ramen was fantastic. The broth is simple to eat, it is on the milder side. The ramen was very pleasant to slurp! Also ordered the eel bento box, wow! Whenever I travel to Japan (7 times so far) eel over rice is always the first thing I always order. The eel bento box gave me flashback to all the eels I ate in Japan. I was amazed to find a Hi Tea here in Creve Coeur as I used to go to one out in Lawrence, KS! This place was just like the one out in KS, filled with cute stuffed animals and decoration and picture-perfect aesthetics all over. The place was wide, and spacious, and much to my surprise -- served food (unlike the Lawrence location)! All in all, I'm not sure if there is a relation to the Lawrence, KS location however they are highly similar with their similar drink options as well. The drinks are good -- not too sweet for their standard milk teas and not overly bitter. The boba is chewy and sweet to balance the drink as well. When you order the drinks, they don't ask for size. The drinks themselves come in pre-assigned sizes so some drinks may come in a smaller or larger cup, you won't know beforehand unless you ask! As for the food, I feel like it may be a bit overpriced. I tried the eel bowl for $16. I expect eel to cost a little more, however, I was expecting more for a $16 bowl. The bowl only came with the eel, some salad, some seaweed salad, and rice. The taste was there, the dish was satisfying, however I feel like there could be more to it, $20 was spent on the bowl and one boba drink. I would recommend this place for drinks, they have all been really good! I would not recommend coming here for the food, though, as most dishes are priced $10+. read more

I am a little bit of a ramen snob and was skeptical that this place would be as delicious as it is cute. IT WAS AMAZING. The interior has me smiling the whole time we were here for lunch. When they brought our tea I was also delighted by the cute whimsical cups. But... the real star was the ramen! Holy cow. It was perfectly seasoned and had the best flavor of any ramen I've had in St. Louis. Not to mention the attention to detail like the bowls, spoons and even forks are fun and cute. We came here to satisfy a boba craving and this was the perfect place. Their drinks are a great size for how much they are. Food is a little pricey but we can tell everything. is cooked to order. The vibe is amazing and honestly between the tea and the inside of the building we will be returning. They also have huge forks? The red milk tea and the white oolong peach tea with cheese cream were amazing. The Decor was beautiful and soothing and cute and amazing. We was excited to try this place. Overall their milk teas are fine, sometimes they don't have stuff available but I get it and it is fine. But their food & customer service is a different story. We ordered two rice bowls and waited for thirty minutes. Nobody checked on us or said anything, not even eye contact. And when we finally got our food the rice was SOAKED in oil. Not edible at all. We asked to return the food and I can hear people yelling about this in the back kitchen. They refused to refund us and said " we don't have a manager/ owner". What can I say? Ordered ramen for ~$13. Paid at the front where you are rushed to pay and sign the receipt. For the total line, the cost was ~$17 and there was a line item within the receipt showing ~$2 gratuity. Did not add a tip since you order from your phone at the table and they bring the food out, without ever checking back to see if you needed anything else. No copy of the receipt could be provided. After leaving, noticed I was charged $19, which means on a $13 ramen I was charged an extra $6 (nearly No explanation on the merchant receipt for why the price showed ~$17 + an apparent forced ~$2 tip on top of the ramen + tax. Need better transparency about the pricing. Ramen + tax is okay, but ramen + tax + forced additional tip is unacceptable. read more

This place is great! Very Asian ambiance, reminds me of being back home in San Diego, CA with all the small food restaurants there. The food is very good! I had the eel rice bowl and the oolong milk tea. With the teas I like the fact that you can adjust the sweetness level. The drinks are not sealed with plastic like most other bubble teas places, it is a hard lid which makes it easier with the straw! Definitely going back again! I had read other reviews before coming here and noted others complaining about the slow service and how the layout was confusing. Here's my recommendation: ignore those people. My experience was basically perfect. We both ordered the Brown Sugar milk tea and found it to be incredibly delicious. I thought that the ~$5 price might be steep, but it's better than anything I've ever got at other drink places (a certain Seattle-based coffee shop comes to mind) and was totally worth the price. We ordered Tonkotsu ramen and the Chicken ramen. The food was out in about 15 minutes. We agreed that this is the best ramen that we've had in STL (and we've had a lot). The fried chicken in my ramen could have been an entree all it's own because it was so good. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. The broth wasn't too salty so you could sip it after the other contents were gone. The waiter we had was extremely attentive, very polite, and enhanced our experience. Bottom line is: TRY THIS PLACE! I ordered four Boba teas for myself, my two daughters and one of their friends. I've been here several times in while the service can be a bit slow (this time things got made a bit faster) the quality is outstanding. They are very Covid friendly as you could not wait inside and they had a table right at the entrance where your order could be picked up. Very comfortable ordering and definitely a quality product.
