The noodles are perfectly cooked, the toppings are fresh, and the portions are generous without feeling overdone. It's a small, cozy restaurant, so expect a wait during peak hours -- but trust me, it's worth it. The space feels intimate and authentic, which honestly adds to the charm. Once you're seated and that bowl hits the table, you forget you even waited. If you're in St. Louis and craving real ramen, this is the spot. No question.

When we pulled up, there was a line but it moved quicker than we thought. Once we got inside, we were both surprised at how small it was. While I've yet to go to Japan, it def gives off the vibe strictly from ambiance and the decor. It's small but intimate and offers seats at the "bar", as well as communal seating. We didn't get a choice and were sat at the bar. Ordering is done through the QR code and water is offered self-serve. We split an order of the appetizers: house cucumbers and karaage. I'm not a huge cucumber fan but I tried it. I preferred the one with miso as I found it to be more subtle in taste. The chicken was average and didn't wow me. We each got the chicken shoyu with no pork, no scallions and an extra egg. It felt like it took a long time to get our food. We were both surprised once we got it as we were expecting actual chicken pieces but after rereading the menu description, it was chicken oil. He was a bit disappointed as both our dishes were covered in scallions. I suggested we not send it back since it took quite a while to get our food and they were close to closing. Nevertheless, I found the broth to be tasty and full of flavor despite there being no meat. Overall, it was a solid first visit.

Weekday visits are pretty chill but weekend dinner time gets busy, just something to plan around. Also a heads up on parking, the lot isn't very big so when it's packed it can be tough to find a spot. Would recommend carpooling if you can. I have a pretty low spice tolerance but there are still so many delicious dishes to choose from if you look around the menu. The soups are so hearty and comforting. Insider tip: the tofu egg dish is not on the menu but ask for it anyway. It is so worth it and the best way I can describe it is like eating a savory cloud puff. So unique and so good. The service is always super efficient, food comes out fast, and the staff will get you in and out. Every single dish I've had has been full of flavor and nothing has missed yet. Would absolutely come back and highly recommend.

It was excellent and had just the right amount of heat. I also enjoyed the smoky ham fried rice, although it lacked the distinct smoky aroma I was expecting. Some of the other dishes didn't quite land for me. The fish soup wasn't my favorite, and the beef noodle soup wasn't especially memorable. The cumin lamb, however, was better than expected and ended up being one of the stronger dishes we ordered. That said, the service was friendly, the portions were generous, and there are plenty of interesting options on the menu. I'd definitely come back to try some different dishes next time.

The inside has a good amount of seating and a separate area for shabu shabu, so it's well organized. We ordered a ton of dishes to share and everything came out so fast. I was surprised by how fast and friendly the staff was. The jjajangmyeon is vegetarian and this was very similar but just slightly lighter than the Korean one. Still so delicious. The fried tofu is an absolute must order. I don't know how they got it that crispy and crunchy, but it was perfectly flavored too. The grilled tofu was also really good and flavorful. The noodles were great, and we also got the cabbage dish which was a nice balance to some of the heavier, oilier dishes. They offer tea for the table only $1 per person. Overall just a really great experience. It's a bit out of the way and not really surrounded by a lot of other things to do nearby, but worth the trip. Would definitely recommend!

I've had their 3 cup chicken, fried pork chop, other street snacks, braised beef noodle soup. Our recent orders: Stirfry basil with beef (17.99): our favorite Chili's stirfry chicken (14.99): it was better the more you had it, but it was just strange that the chicken was coated in sauce so it didn't make it quite crispy Five spices tofu (13.99): this was pretty good. It's perfectly crispy on the outside and the dipping sauce was not too bad. I dropped in on a Saturday evening and ordered the **Shroomed Up** ramen, and it was a ramen masterclass in a bowl. The broth managed to be incredibly rich and deeply savory-sweet all at once, without ever feeling heavy. It was loaded with thick, substantial slabs of mushrooms, tender-cooked bok choy, and the noodles were the star of the show--thick and perfectly cooked to that ideal sweet spot where they aren't too chewy but have zero mushiness. Even with a line stretching out the door when we arrived, the wait wasn't tedious, and we reached the counter reasonably fast. The ordering process is standard counter service, but the staff member who took our order was incredibly nice, polite, and helpful, practically predicting my questions as I was looking over the menu. The same employee even brought our bowls out to us. The space was definitely crowded for a weekend night, but the seat-yourself setup worked out perfectly for the two of us; we still had three tables to choose from. The interior has a great energy with fun, East-Asian and Japanese-themed decor lining the walls. The Breakdown Food Quality: 5+/5 + Service: 4/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Vibe: 4/5 Quality/Value: 4/5 **Pro Tip:** Don't let a Saturday evening line out the door scare you off! The counter service team moves people through the queue efficiently, and if you are dining in a small group of two, the table turnover is quick enough that you'll still easily find a spot to sit down.

This small restaurant is located in a very large shopping center. The sign is a little hard to see but when you enter you're greeted with a clean and simple interior with friendly faces and a focused menu. They do pan fried or steamed dumplings (pork, chicken, beef, or shrimp filling), with cucumber salad or broccoli as a side option. I think they might also have boba and fruit tea but given I'd already made a boba trip that day I didn't order any. My husband and I ordered steamed beef and pan fried chicken dumplings to share, plus cucumber salad. The employee gave good recommendations on which meat went best with each cooking style. Our food came out quickly. I enjoyed everything we ordered. The cucumber salad needed a little bit more oomph but it was nothing some of the chili oil on the table couldn't fix. My favorite was the steamed beef dumplings. They were super rich and savory. The chicken dumpling wasn't quite as crispy as I'd expected and the broth almost had a slightly sweet quality to it. It was good, just a little different than what I expected. I'm very glad I got to try these dumplings! This wasn't a super gigantic or hugely filling meal so I'd probably order one extra side (the broccoli looked great and I kinda wish my husband had sided with me on ordering it, lol) just to round things out if I returned. Overall, a quite positive experience and I'm grateful to have had it!
