I've been coming to Love Nails on and off for about 7 years now, and I'm still obsessed with this place! I personally go to Cindy, and she truly keeps me coming back every time. Between the conversation, the laughs, and the attention to detail she puts into my nails, the experience is always amazing. No matter what design I bring her, she never shies away from it and somehow always adds her own creative twist that makes me love them even more. I've also gone to a few other nail techs in the shop over the years and honestly haven't been disappointed with anyone. The salon is consistently clean, the atmosphere is welcoming, and parking is usually easy since there's a lot right outside. This use to be my go to place... loved the service. Would walk in and they get right in. The other day I went for a mani and pedi, was told to choose my color. The lady who was attending to me starting speaking in her language. Then I saw her kind of panicking and then she said (to one of her coworkers) that she didn't know how to do gel x/ was not good at it. After a few of them responded to her in their language, she came back to me and said she was sorry but she wasn't able to take me in. Then she starting saying she has an appt and she wouldn't finish in time... The fact that they started speaking in their language and then she came back to me and gave another story... that vibe was mad crazy because now she sounded suspicious. If she didn't know how to do the service, don't lie.. just be honest. I know everyone can't do it. It's better to be honest than lie about something. I've been going to this place for at least 2 years or more. I made an appointment for 12:00 and got there 15 minutes early and still had to wait 35 minutes after my scheduled time before I got waited on because the greedy tech overbooked. My normal tech Emily was out on maternity leave and I made appointment online with Kim and she did a crappy job. Act like she didn't hear me when I asked wasn't she going to use the metal scraper on the bottom of my feet and try to rush through the job and to make it even worst she couldn't fine any Gel Light Blue Polish, so I ended up having to get light purple which I didn't want. Won't come back here again unless Emily is back. read more

UPDATE: I have attempted to return to this nail salon several times. The parking here is awful, and that's unfortunate because this is a wonderful salon. I guess you may have better luck on a weekday morning. I just arrived at 1:15pm Friday today and circled around the small parking lot several times trying to figure out where i could park. No luck, so I unfortunately had to take my business elsewhere. I at least wanted the owners to be aware of this, I know that there is not much they can do. My nails are super short, one of them is pretty badly split and my cuticles were a mess. I wish I knew her name, but the lady who did my nails was SO sweet. She decided to do a powder dip overlay and I was nervous that I wouldn't like it, since I only get pedicures and never do anything with my nails, but they came out SO pretty, especially compared to how nasty they looked before LOL! She really took her time, was friendly, and we chatted throughout my manicure and pedicure. They are very clean, sanitary, friendly - my first experience was so good that I will defibe coming back in 2 weeks for a new set! read more

I've been to this place multiple times and had a great experience, BUT this time was different. I made an appointment for my boyfriend to get a pedicure and myself to get my nails done. I was told they had me down for a pedicure as well and my nail tech still had a client so I said okay sure I'll go ahead and get the pedicure. While getting my pedicure I was told my nail tech wouldn't have time to do my nails. Which was very frustrating because mind you, I had already had my previous set of nails taken off & waiting for a new set. I had made this appointment days prior. Apparently their system had overbooked her. My frustration comes in with the fact that I was not seen first when I had arrived first and been there for an hour and a half at this point. ***I have been contacted by this business because of my review. My position stands. Bad service, followed by a bad attitude is my reason for my review. The green nails below are not my nails but an example to show what I meant by "lumpy nails". When you go for a polish change it is customary for a LICENSED nail tech to file/buff the area of the nail that meets the acrylic for a smooth transition. For the licensed nail tech to not do so, is a failure to provide a standard of care and was unacceptable. *** This used to be my favorite nail salon in GB. Came in for a polish change in June since I was in the area and in a rush. An older tech took me, and I recognized her from a few years prior. 3 or 4 nails could have Used a fill In, but it had only been a week since I had my nails done and I was short on time. Do yall know she started talking vietnamese real hard and fast to her neighbor and wouldnt look at me? She grabs my hand and twists my fingers around like she had a major attitude that I didnt want the fill in. I said something to her twice, before saying loudly, YOURE HURTING MY HAND! she stops and says oh you really should get a fill in. I told her I have to be somewhere else in an hour, so if she could do a polish change quickly that would be awesome. More language to her friend and her facial expressions were rude and unpleasant. Completely unprofessional. I look down at my hand and see she did this crazy sloppy paint job. She did not file my nails at all, and so the nail was lumpy looking. When I say the worst ever in life, I mean it. I tell her that this is unacceptable, and she starts to raise her voice at me saying it's the best she can do, I needed a fill. I call the manager/front desk girl over and she attempts to talk to the nail tech who literally was giving no fudges that day. She turns to me and says so sorry, and looks for someone else to do my nails. I meanwhile had turned on google translate to find out what was going on. I told her that I'd heard what she said, and that I was leaving. I attempted to settle whatever bill, and the manager says dont worry about it. I still love Ken's work, he does awesome acrylics. But I came here 5/25 to get a pedicure and it wasn't the best experience or pedicure I've ever had. I honestly could have done the work better myself. Before the negatives, let's point out the positives. The lady who did my pedicure was friendly, she didn't talk but she was friendly. She also took her time, which you don't find often with many nail technicians. Here comes the negatives... Everything was perfect until I noticed my toes were filed crooked. This is where I asked if she could simply make it straighter, and she tried to tell me no... like what?? I'm paying for the service, so please do the simple thing that I asked you to do? The paint job wasn't great either. Upon closer inspection, the sides weren't painted and my toes were left dry and crusty. Overall, I wasn't happy at the end of the service and the girl at the reception desk could tell. I had to ASK her to put cuticle oil on my toes because I was embarrassed to have paid for a service and leave the salon with feet that don't even look like they've been soaking in a bowl of soapy water for 30 minutes. I waited for 45 minutes to be seen. I ended up walking out because I just didn't have the patience to wait any longer. Any future customers should make an appointment. I have a baby at home and I just can't commit to appointments so when I saw they took walk-ins, I wanted to take the little time that I had to run in somewhere to get my nails done. A nail salon shouldn't accept "walk-ins" if they don't have the staff to accommodate a decent time for customers walking in to wait. read more

It was simple glitter polish..it did not last a week...was not worth $25 My second encounter was 6/3/2018 for a acrylic nail appointment for HS GRADUATION. I did like the fact that I was seen within 5minutes of being there. I asked for pink polish and a design two fingers. My male nail tech did not know what he was doing. I was a customer at Love Nails for a few months and was getting my nails done by Paul. I like the way he did my nails but the customer service was not great. It was more than one occasion when I schedule my appointment and even though they have my appointment in the books they asked me to come back at our a later time it was more than an hour away from my initial appointment. There was also times where I ask for Paul to do my nails and they still gave me to someone else. I no longer will be having my nails done here because of the lack of customer service and I would not recommend that you get your nails done here either because all of the nail techs are not up to par. read more

I went there for the first time ever on June 25th to get a whole full set for my daughter and I. The tech that saw me did whatever she wanted, design and shapewise, not what I asked for. Told me I was done, my nails were supposed to be Matte, they definitely were not Matte. Within a week I had to go back because my right index finger nail broke off. The next day after that my left pinky nail broke off. I call them again extremely disappointed and they tell me I can come in the next day after I got off work ( mentioned I got off at 5) I get there at 535 and they told me I couldn't be seen at all. I asked for a refund and the tech at the salon said I had to go on fb and send them a message with my refund request. After a while of going back and forth on messenger whoever I was talking to calls the salon, after a couple of giggles and laughter and speaking their language the woman at the salon hands me $70.00, she refused to give me the $75.00 I paid for my set... that being the 2nd time I returned to have my nails fixed due to her tech not doing a job well done. Needless to say I walked out very upset and let me inform to you that another 2 nails broke off the next day after that as well. I found out the techs name is Tammy. read more

I am highly disappointed with this shop. I've been going to them since January. There has not been a time that I've went that my wait time for my nails is an hour plus. Even when I arrive when they open. They told me make an appointment if I do not want to wait. I make my appointment with Paul, for 06/26/2021 for 10:15am. I arrive and the Owen Kevin states that Paul will not be available until 11:30am. I did not receive a call prior to tell me of this wait. There was no apologies, just you can go to the next person available, as if I didn't make an appointment with the person I wanted to do my nails. The customer service is horrible and Kevin response was not professional or accommodating. I planned my entire day by my appointment, just to be screwed over. I really like Paul and Tammy work but I'm so tired of dealing with the poor customer service and the whole idea of "well if you want your nails done, you'll wait" as if they are the only nail shops. read more

I was pretty upset when I called in advance to make sure I could be seen and have an appointment. I called around 5 pm considering when nail shops close. They told me I could be seen at 6:30. I should have not bothered. When I got there there were 5 ladies waiting and I wasn't seen till after 7. They don't open their doors or will not keep them open so the chemical smell from the nails is so strong it makes you sick. My pedicure took an hour. The lady who started my pedicure also could not finish because she doesn't do gel nails. It was horrible. I can't even explain what they did to my toe nails. They are sho short and rounded weirdly. The lady who finished the gel nails only put 2 layer on the big toe to make the glitter show which is not the example Or color I picked out. The rest of my toes barely have any paint. I have been coming to Love Nails since October 2018 and have loved my nails everytime. My nails have always been extremely short so I would get the tips and acrylic. Well after 3 months my natural nails were finally long enough and tonight I went there and had the acrylic removed and got the dip powder on my natural nails.
