I used their shop because I needed a tire change on short notice- not exactly an emergency. They took care of me in their shop which is a little ragged but about average for roadside truck service. They got me back on the road after a thorough check of my tire issues. That's what I needed. Its a big rig truck shop not a boutique-not pretty but reliable. They are somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. I would use them again.

I had asked my own mechanic in the Milwaukee area what he would charge and he said in the neighborhood of $150. I asked Cory at TC Autoworks what he would charge and he said $45. Of course, I told him to go ahead with it. The job did not take long as I knew it wouldn't. Even so if you don't have the right tools you would not want to attempt this repair. When it was done I had to get going because other people were waiting so I asked Cory to write up the bill. He looked at me and said, "You know what, that job didn't take very long so there will be no charge today." I was shocked. When did you ever hear those words from a auto mechanic? I thanked him and I want to thank him again for that here. It's the least I can do to write TC Autoworks a great review. Unheard-of from most Freightliner shops. My previous experiences with DEF problems usually end up being in shop for 3 days to 1 week. By the way, the US government really messed up with DEF requirements because of the cost of repairs companies are incurring. They have friendly staff and very comfortable drivers room. They also have laundry machines and showers. PLEASE, some of you drivers use the showers because some of you smell really bad.

Slower than a seven year itch, went there for exhaust work on my truck , all I needed was two Two…read morefoot 6 inch flex tube on my y pipe claimed they couldn't find any and at the end of the day they mysteriously found some flex pipe that usually cost about 10.00 per foot but they charged me 2.48 per inch for 48 inches then 50.00 for four clamp that usually run for 5.50 each and 115.00 labor and 115.00 for accessing my exhaust leak ( that I already told them what I needed) all together 454.35 was there at 7:00 am until 3:30 pm and lost my load that I was on.
