I gave them the benefit of the doubt and brought my van there for a windshield, they didn't hide the wire for the alarm light/ sensor and it was sitting on the dashboard! Who does that? I 100% do not recommend getting any detail jobs done at Gloss-Tek in Fenton. They advertised a $99…read moreback to school special which actually cost $125. I spent $125 to get my vehicle cleaned. As excited as I am to have a clean vehicle, I'm not so excited to have the repair costs that came with it. When pressure washing my engine bay, they did not thoroughly cover up the things that shouldn't be power washed causing my coil pack to be ruined and my car to misfire ($60 repair). Also they evidently didn't wait for my exhaust to cool off or something because when they washed my underbody, my exhaust got cracked as well.. when I called Gloss-Tek Wednesday to inform them of the damages to hopefully prevent damage happening to someone else's vehicle, they shrugged it off like it was no big deal and told me they'd tell the owner. Didn't get my name, my number or the vehicle I had worked on. After requesting for a call back from the owner, we waited 1-2 days for a call back, his staff called us back and told us the owner wanted them to relay to us that the owner said that my coil pack was probably already on the fritz and when it got wet it just went out and that my exhaust was probably already broke but when my vehicle was dirty (wasn't THAT dirty) that I didn't notice it. I think I would notice my vehicle being loud, dirty or not. An exhaust repair is $150. So a detail that should've cost me $125 is now costing me close to $300 to fix and they're refusing to make this right. And when told that I would be leaving reviews to help others not get their vehicles damaged as well, we were told he did not care. So here I am, leaving a review I don't want to leave. I would be very cautious when using Gloss-Tek. And since posting my review, they have blocked me from commenting on any posts they make advertising business.
