Full disclosure: I had nothing to do with selecting this shop for repairs...my daughter's car was hit and she took it there for repairs on her own, based on the advice of her insurance carrier. I saw photos of the front fender and driver-door damage and went with her to pick it up when it was ready. I looked the panel alignment over carefully and also the paint match. I plan to bring future work to this shop. The process was as painless as a smashed car can be, and there were no comebacks for this repair. A short digression: I had previously used another established shop years ago on 8 Mile Road in Farmington and liked their first repair, but a subsequent job in 2015 was paint-matched so poorly and with multiple comebacks (not to mention breaking off the mounting tabs of the front instrument paknee panel that was cheeseballed back together with a glue gun after I told them that throwing the piece into the passenger footwell at delivery was unacceptable) that I have been keeping my eyes open for their replacement since that time. I think I have found that replacement in GEB. Nice work on my daughter's car, guys. Looking forward to bringing my next project to you. Update, June 2020: I brought my wife's Jeep in to have a new aftermarket off-road bumper installed. Very reasonable price on labor and one-day turnaround. Thanks, GEB!! read more

I do not usually write reviews but I am absolutely impressed with GEB collision! Its SO hard to find a place you can trust that does excellent work and will not take advantage of you as a customer! This is that place! They fixed my 2015 Kia optima (entire front end bumper) car this morning perfectly and the owner is extremely honest and reasonable. My son has also taken his 2007 mustang here and he said it looked like it came right from the factory when he picked it up, and that the owner was very accommodating, honest and very reasonable. I took my son's car in for a minor repair of his seatbelts. He was heading back to college the next day so it was a rush job. The office staff did not think they would have time to get to it on Friday but I got a call at 2:30 letting me know it was finished. I went into G.E.B. Collision, Inc., yesterday, to get an estimate for damage that happen to my car in a parking lot, while parked. I was a little apprehensive @ 1st because the man that waited on me was a man of few words. (Sorry I forget his name, but won't forget his face!) As we walked out to my car to look @ the damage, I let him know that I knew the damage was minor, but w/it being a brand new car I just didn't like it. As he examined the damage he chipped @ the scratch (which was the full length of the door) w/his thumb nail, which made me cringe & then he did the same to the bumper, said "OK" & walked inside. Once we were inside he asked me for my keys & then left w/them. 15/20 minutes later he came back & said "It's done." We walked out to the car & sure enough it was done! He showed me that it was the paint from the other car (or something) in both places & all that needed to be done was to be buffed out! I asked him if he wanted my name & insurance information & he said "Nope, have a great day!" I could have kissed him! LOL! Seriously, I have only had my car a couple months! It hasn't even had its 1st oil change yet, & to walk in there, as a woman, by myself & get such great customer service & they did not even want some sort of payment, I almost cried! My work truck needed the rear bumper pulled down about an inch for it to clear the tailgate. From years of minor collisions the metal bumper had moved up and would scrape the paint off the tailgate every time you opened and closed it. I called at 9am to explain the situation. They were very professional and said I would need to bring it in for them to see it in person. I brought it to the shop by 11am and they had it fixed by 1:30pm. I'm sure that timing is a bit lucky but I will surely be back the next time their services are needed. Their price was very reasonable and within their estimate. I have had them work on my vehicles for several years and I am always impressed with the beautiful work that they do, the quick turn around , getting the job done and getting the vehicle back to me. I sent my car here because it was referred by my insurance company after a collision. They kept my car for 8 weeks. They kept making excuses why the work was not done, and saying they were waiting on original ford parts to get in. When I finally got my car back, the engine overheated. Why would an engine over heat on a 2014 ford escape in negative temperatures in February? Oh, because GEB collision didn't install my fan properly. The owner told me how great the car drove, and that all the repairs had been made. Two months later, the car wouldn't accelerate. I took it to Brighton ford. It turns out, my transmission plate was broken in the collision. Geb missed it. Now I need a new trans. The dealership also informed me that it was one of the shoddiest repairs they've ever seen. I'm missing original ford parts from my car, and none of the parts they used to repair my car are factory. Do not use or trust geb collision. "Six months of car repair hell" should be their logo. read more

This was my second time visiting G E B collision. Each time was a great experience and I swear, I will only go to them for any bodywork needs. I left my car there over the weekend while I was out of town. They finished it by the time I returned, as promised. They walked me through every part that needed to be ordered and did what they could to re-use any parts that weren't absolutely necessary to replace. It saved me hundreds! My car was FILTHY when I dropped it off to them... It was a pleasant surprise to see they had even cleaned the interior of my car after the exterior work was done. This place is a family-run business and that definitely shows in the way that they treat their customers. Their work is top-notch and although I've heard some feedback that they're on the pricier side, as I mentioned before, I feel like they do what they can to save their customers as much money as possible. I was so impressed with GEB that I felt it worth taking the time to write this review. I rarely write reviews and when I do, it's usually when a business has made me mad with poor service. I'm happy to say just the opposite is true in this case. I'm recently retired and money is tight (I was paying for the work myself.) and the unplanned expense of a car repair was stressful. Not only did GEB give me one of the lowest cost estimates, they offered to do the work in the shortest time and offered a free loaner, as well. Frankly NO body shop I've EVER dealt with finished the job on time, so I was skeptical. But since they gave me a free loaner, I wasn't concerned with how long it would take. The loaner was far from new, but looked good, was clean and ran well. I was literally shocked when the work was done on time. They did a fine job and even cleaned my car, inside and out.
