This is, without a doubt, the best S.E. Asian restaurant for easily a few hundred miles. That said, this is a family restaurant, not a fancy type of jernt, so don't be put off if the servers aren't in matching costumes, and the attitude is kinda casual, you came for the food, right?! Oh man, the food is unreal. Pretty much anything you care for will be prepared right then, with fresh ingredients. Personally, the Larb is a favorite, the egg-rolls are always good, but the Pho, man, that's it for me. I've lived on the stuff from South-East Asia to Seattle, and I've not found better. Try the Pho Hmong, unfreaking real! What can I say, I'm sold. There are no other places in or near Wausau, actually, I can say there are none better within a six-hour drive, and even then, you won't get Pho as good. Don't be fooled by haters and shills, try it yourself!

Average food but the variety makes this place intriguing. Even though I wasn't impressed the first time I would consider going back and trying other items on the menu. Pho is good and the portions are generous. The spicy pork Eggrolls are also good. The papaya and Hmong sausage were okay.

Great food, slow service. My friends and I had an hour lunch, and we used the whole hour waiting and eating. We can see the Thomas Street expansion stakes outside, so either sample this place now, or wait a year of so at their yet-to-be-identified site. I had a great basil chicken dish and a couple of the Wednesday special eggrolls - delish.

Basil rolls big enough for two to share !

Amazing loved every bite! I was hesitant at first because I want authentic Asian food but I was pleasantly surprised. My papaya salad and sticky rice was on point. The basil aka spring rolls are huge and great value. The pho was amazing and the have all the fixings to make it your own. Definitely family run which is nice. Service was speedy but was too slow either. Would definitely return again and again!

Great egg rolls & the pho is the best I've had. The atmosphere is Chinese-restaurant casual. The service was prompt, helpful, and friendly.

There are no kids meals and they offer appetizers that's not on the menu. The meat selections aren't too bad for both types of dinner. They could offer more veggies and (dipping) sauces. The banchons were emptied/low that I didn't pick any. The shaved ice was watery so I didn't have any either. Instead, I opted for the $8 cotton candy machine that was well worth the money. It's huge, airy, and mildly sweet. The server, Weston, was nice, very informative explaining the concept and attentive. We felt very welcoming.

At kbbq???) So glad we did because we found this place instead. We were able to get a customized option for dining that worked for us and our little picky eater. Loved the variety and the meats were flavorful, out quickly, and fresh. Their thai coconut (can't remember name) broth was so good even my son enjoyed it. Everything was clean and well maintained. Overall though the service is what sold us. We eat a lot of kbbq and the service is usually good but our waiter was exceptional. He was attentive, patient and kind. We are so happy we ended up here during our short time in Appleton. If you want kbbq or hotpot in the area, THIS is your spot in my opinion!

I also just love the buildings architecture, from the incredibly crafted benches to the fancy chandeliers. I do say, it is kind of pricey here but it is worth it. The sushi is some of the worst I've had. We've tried the Chico sushi, the Philadelphia roll multiple times, and even some of their signature rolls, hoping something would stand out. Nothing did. The quality and flavor were consistently disappointing every single time. We also ordered the sesame chicken, the General Tao, and their chicken and vegetable. The sesame chicken and General Tao literally tasted the same. Different names, same bland sauce, same overall flavorless experience. Even the chicken and vegetable lacked seasoning and tasted just as uninspired. There is simply no real flavor in anything we tried. On top of that, it's overpriced for the quality you're getting. The service is only halfway decent, and while the ambiance is cute, it does not make up for how awful the food is. After four tries, I can confidently say it's not worth it. One star.

We've visited here a total of 3 times before writing this review. I am not related nor do I know…read morethe owners personally so there is no bias here. What caught my attention was the banh mi sandwiches. I find it difficult to find a decent sandwich in the area. Some has too much watered pickled veggies or there may not be pate in it, so I wanted to try instead of relying on other's review. With that said, I'll get to the point and say the banh mi's are pretty good. It has a nice ratio of veggies to meat and yes, it has pate. The jalapeño is sliced thinly, just like I like it, so I'm able to handle the heat. The baguette is not toasted but it has a nice hard shell and soft inside. The meats, we got a pork one, are seasoned well. The veggies, mainly carrots, were pickled nicely. It's not dripping wet. Now for the pho, it was alright. The broth was cloudy but also seasoned well. The sliced meat did not taste fresh. I've eaten boiled freezer burnt meats before and that's how it tasted like. Not pleasant. The service was fast. I've been here to pick up just sandwiches before and I've waited no more than 10 minutes. We waited about 10 minutes when we did dine in. There were only another couple there so that may be the reason for the quick service. They bring their kids to this establishment? I heard a toddler crying from the back and kitchen area. The bathroom was clean. The decor is simple and minimal. Overall, I will return if I'm in the area. The owners were pleasant and location was easy to find with plenty of parking.

That said, if you have a strict hour lunch, you may want to see if you can call ahead. We were there about 55 min total (actually in the restaurant) which didn't leave us much drive time (but luckily, being just ten min late or so isn't a big deal for either of us) I ordered the Pho and it was pretty good. It wasn't OMG good, but I wouldn't have any issue ordering it again. My friend ordered the chicken curry and said the flavor was good. It's served with a nice amount of rice. The only criticism they had was that it was all dark meat and not necessarily trimmed the best, but this friend prefers white meat, so it wouldn't have been rated perfect for that reason. We got meatballs as well and I really enjoyed those. When we were there, it was pretty busy, but the host was prompt and friendly, the open tables were clean... And that was with staffing seeming short, so they were obviously doing the best they could with service.
