Hoagitos might actually be my Roman Empire because I cannot stop thinking about these sandwiches. The turkey sammy? Delightful. So good I finished it and immediately wished I had another one waiting. Pro tip: just order two because self-control doesn't stand a chance here. But let's talk about the crispy chicken Caesar wrap. Bury me with it. Like honestly, put it in my will. Perfect crunch, the Caesar of Caesars, and I swear it had me questioning every life choice that led me to not eating it sooner. Grab it on your way to the beach and prepare to have your day made.

Hoagitos is the truth! I'm so glad I stumbled upon this find on Tiktok and it definitely didn't disappoint with variety of sandwiches and courteous staff. Upon entry, I was pleasantly greeted and informed of all of the best sellers and recommendations. Although I was there during lunchtime, although it was very busy there was ample seating since most of the orders were carryout. However, I can see the restaurant being very busy on the weekends. Although impressed with the many choices available, I went for the spicy vodka chicken parm sandwich on semolina bread. The bread was soft and did an excellent job of holding the generous chicken portion, basil, melted mozzarella and vodka sauce together. The sandwich was made to order and served piping hot. Although I loved the sandwich, I was unable to finish it since it was so filling. I look forward to returning and trying another one of their chicken sandwiches (I have my eye on the forbidden chicken). Also, free parking is available behind the restaurant (the entrance is down the street).

In the area for a club soccer game.. used chatgpt to find a viral sandwich spot in the area and was directed to Hoagitos. They close at 7:30 so we made it in just under the gun and because of that we missed out on the fries (sold out for the day). I had the FRIED CHICKEN CAESAR sandwich with a side of the risotto balls. The cutlet was so crispy and perfect. This place is a gem. Thanks chat.

So good! Glad I made a pit stop here before I went back to the city. The chicken was crispy but not dry. The flavors all blended well together. 10/10!

I thought this little sandwich shop was amazing. The staff was super welcoming I ordered the chopped cheese which felt like a better less greasy version of what you would buy in a NYC bodega. I give it a 4.5/5 it's definitely worth the try if you're in the area.

We were really impressed by the location. The Food shack is located right on the beach which is the perfect way to enjoy a lunch on a Summer day in Point Pleasant. They have lots of umbrellaed outdoor seating, and some benches in the sun, so there are options for everyone. They also have some indoor seating, and the inside is adorable. We ordered a swiss grilled cheese with tomato on top, and a BLT. Each item came with pickles and a bag of chips. Each item was priced reasonably, especially considering typical Jersey Shore pricing. My grilled cheese was great. The bread/cheese/tomato ratio was perfect. The cheese was gooey, and stayed gooey even as the sandwich cooled. The bread on the grilled cheese was crispy on the outside and still soft and warm on the inside. I didn't know what to expect from a small shack on the beach, especially with something as simple as a grilled cheese, but I really enjoyed it. The BLT also had a gread tomato/bacon/lettuce/mayo ratio and wasn't too greasy. Overall I will definitely be coming back!

Not often does a place do as well or better than the last place when it changes hands and the previous joint was a local favorite. At the Point IMHO is one of those such spots. The menu is flat out one of the best I've seen in years! So many amazing choices from savory to sweet, creative fun names for everything, outstanding choices, tons of options for every palate. They kept some of the staples from before which is a nice hat tip to tradition but you can also tell the new chef/owner wanted to have some fun with the menu and it's a hit in my book! The food is very fresh, coffee hot and delicious, and the service is as good as it always was! Tanya is the best! The pancakes are next level, all of their omelettes I've tried have been dynamite, favorites include the French Onion Omelette, Reef & Beef and Juan in a Million. Today we had the Sunrise in Tulum Birria tacos and Country Benny (okay along with a flight of pancakes, stop judging). Everything was great! Avocado toast options are fantastic as well. Love seeing such an iconic local breakfast joint not only stay as good as it's always been but actually improve. This is a can't miss for breakfast or lunch if you're in Point Pleasant Beach or even just passing thru. Keep up the great work At The Point Diner!

The menu looked quite interesting and what caught my attention was one of their burgers. They baked brie burger with bacon and fig preserve. Upon entering the establishment, we found it quite pleasant. The food was absolutely amazing. We all looked at each other and said we will definitely be back. The menu looked amazing as well with selections for breakfast with lemon ricotta, pancakes, and stuffed French toast which we will definitely have to give a try. Although it wasn't very busy, service upstairs was fairly slow, and several nearby tables also seemed to be waiting a while for food or checks. For drinks, we ordered the Boardwalk Lemonade, which was sweet and refreshing, and their version of an Aperol Spritz, which had a beautiful presentation. My dad's Baked Brie Burger was delicious--the fig jam paired perfectly with it, and the waffle fries were fried to perfection. I ordered the Mr. Beautiful Burger, which tasted great at first. Unfortunately, I felt VERY sick almost immediately after eating. I can't say for certain what caused it, but since my dad didn't try my burger and felt fine after his meal, I suspect mine may not have been cooked properly. Despite that, I enjoyed the atmosphere, drinks, and overall experience. I'd definitely give this place another chance, though I'll skip the Mr. Beautiful Burger next time.
