I cringe having to come here and only do every so often to print out some pictures. First, the photo machine is disgusting. It's covered in a thick, crummy, smudgy, sticky screen that you have to touch. Then when your picture order is placed, I find myself walking all over the store trying to find an employee who might be willing to help. There are rarely employees around and always have a difficult time finding anyone to help. There are long lines because......no employees are working! The employees who are there are rude, unfriendly, and honestly, not sure how they could have been qualified to be hired. Lastly, the store typically has homeless people walking in and out if the store and am always followed and hassled getting to my car with them begging for money and harassing. I needed to have a prescription refilled early and because it's a controlled substance, I called in to get clarification on what the pharmacist needed in order to get the refill and he was extremely rude and hung up on me. 3. With the exception of Lorraine, who is an angel, the rest of the staff comes off as utterly incompetent or exceptionally rude. They techs and pharmacists clearly need to be reminded that they are an essential component of people accessing healthcare and that medication, for most people, is critical to their well-being. Then I'm told it will be ready "soon" and that I'll receive another notification, only to come back again and still have it not ready. This has been a consistent problem for the entire six months I've been using this pharmacy. Not once has my prescription been ready on time or handled correctly. I understand pharmacies can be understaffed, but the level of disorganization and lack of communication here is unbelievable. I would give zero stars if I could. I will absolutely be transferring my prescriptions somewhere else.

The service in the pharmacy is efficient and knowledgeable, and they have gone the extra mile on several occasions to interact with my healthcare provider in getting me taken care of. The store is clean and organized, but poorly stocked. I get the impression they are perpetually in the midst of downsizing, and it feels a little early-Covid/Soviet Union with isles of mostly-empty shelves and little selection. That's the only detracting factor, and the missing star. They got it going on where it really counts: customer service and pharmacy efficiency. You could do a WHOLE lot worse in Bellingham - I'm looking at YOU, Walgreens... Recommended.
