I GIVE LINCARE an "A" for Atrocious & Apathetic & Abysmal. They did not deliver3 times they were to have done so. Lincare refused to let my spouse pick up machine, although he prepaid the full amount we owed. Staff said the Patient had to pick it up -- despite my being TOO ILL TO DO SO!. Had I felt well enough to go II would not have NEEDED the machine, would I... To add insult to injury, they left 4 messages "reminding" me (in an irritated voice) to reorder supplies for the machine I had yet to lay eyes on. Value? Getting nothing for cash and wasting time (while I got worse) was valuable only to them. I could have ordered it on Amazon for less and had it the next day. CONCLUSION: This business should NOT survive. If it does, someone has been cooking the books. read more

My oxygen concentrator broke so the B'ham office brought down a replacement. After using it I found out that there had been no cleaning, filter dirty, filter compartment dirty, extreme smell of stale cigarette smoke, vent compartment filthy with cigarette tar and dust. Demanded a replacement. Replacement 2 was better, no cigarette tar but the filter compartment was again dirty and humidifier tube was filthy along with connector. Obviously this branch doesn't seem to know how to clean. Been in touch with Medicare filing a complaint, Lincare We Care team which said to wait 24/48 hours for someone to contact me and if I haven't heard by 72 hours call them back. So now I am stuck with a better but still dirty oxygen concentrator with no idea if the filter of the 2nd machine was replaced or not due to the dirty nature of the compartment. Update: Laken was extremely nice and made sure a NEW oxygen concentrator was delivered to my home 8/12. Delivery person refused to wear a mask to come into our home. My husband had heart failure and I have COPD/Asthma, she stated that she was not required to wear a mask and she would not. Stating she was an American, why I have no idea, her nationality was never in question. When I would not let her in the house and told her to leave the machine and I would set it up she got huffy and accused us of yelling at her and she was a single mother in a rural area. I had to laugh, what is an elderly COPD/Asthmatic woman and her elderly heart failure husband going to do with this substantial woman??? So we are down to the call center woman who helped initially and Laken who seemed balanced and was very helpful in getting me what I needed. It should not have to be this hard to get a clean machine that someone has not previously used and Lincare did not clean. Hopefully this is the end. read more

This is by far the worst company I have had to deal with during my dads health situation. They messed up the orders when discharged, tell me they will call back and don't, and are taking days to get my dad set up. When I called to see if we could arrange a time for when the delivery would be made that way family member would be there to assist, we were told that's not how it works. That the driver makes up his own schedule and they will not dictate it for them. When speaking with a supervisor in Bellingham she went as far as comparing the company to the cable company that they just give a day and no time. I wish I had known the other reviews before I selected this company as I would have never gone with them. I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy! read more

Bellingham: I could never give this business even a star with how they treat people. After several times prounouncing and spelling the last name they sent me to the manager who laughed rudely at me and said I had the wrong number. I was calling on behalf of my grandmother who had been having a hard time getting in contact with them. If this is how they treat the elderly they are awful. read more

Very unprofessional! We arrived early but it didn't matter. Doors weren't unlocked till I called the manager 15mins after our appt time, just to be told by the very rude receptionist who had my appointment time as 9....the day before in person, that it's actually 10. She is really good at dirty looks and doesn't put effort or time into her job professionally. What a joke! Not to mention the appointment was a wasted trip from Marysville to just find out that they can't change anything through insurance for a month. Don't go here! The worse company ever. I need homecare oxygen after coming home from hospital. Lincare provided my oxygen, I paid and my insurance then I no longer need it after three days, I contacted 2 twice a week for a month. They didn't pick up until 1 day after a new month so they could charge me again. I have COPD if I ever need oxygen and there is another company I will never use them again. read more

I don't know what office other reviewers visited, or whom they dealt with, but my wife and I just stopped for help with a POC they didn't sell us and weren't obligated to help with -- and they were amazing! The congenial technician made time for us at end of the day, as did the office staff, and he was patient to show and explain to us what might be going on with our unit. But we weren't surprised: When my wife first phoned on a Saturday (in a semi-panic), she was routed to the technician on-call at home, and he was patiently supportive even then. We offered to pay for our office visit and POC testing, but were told "No charge. Just happy to help." From our experience, these folks are the best. read more

Our LOCAL LINCARE employees are GOOD and give good service ..BUT Lincare's BILLING system has problems . It took me 2+ days to get a live voice to answer my questions regarding a credit on my account and an outstanding bill for $15 existing at our our local office Updated billing information is not accessible by the local offices.. My credit rating is in the 800's so accurate billing is important to me. read more

Some of the worst service I've ever received. It took weeks to get "set up" and then my stuff never got ordered! They suggested that I call the warehouse for them, never returned my calls to inquire, and seemed to think their role ended with sending an email to other people in their company without having to having to follow up. I just wasted over four weeks and still don't have my equipment! It's astonishing that they have any happy customers at all (after waiting four + weeks, I am ordering my stuff on Amazon and will receive it in two days) read more

I moved from out of state and started calling the Bellingham office one year ago this week. My doctors faxed my script to their office not one, not two, not three times but 5 times and still NO help. We made an appointment so they could look at my ASV machine and I was told that I have a severe case of central sleep apnea. Great, I'll get the help I need! WRONG. I was then told I needed to have my old Lincare office transfer my records which is NOT what they told me each time I called. I begged Barbara to help me and she called them and asked for my records. She told me to call her back in 2 weeks and I did so at day 17. She said there was NOTHING in the system, who was I & why was I calling that office. I almost fainted and wanted to cry. Finally after 20 minutes, a hang up and lots of patience she found my name and account. She then told me to just call the reorder toll free number and they could help me. WHAT? Yes, that's all I need to do she said. I'm telling you I damn near died. If that's all I needed to do then why have I been working with this inept office? Speaking of the office, it was disgusting. I don't think they've cleaned the carpet since they opened their doors. The trash cans were overflowing, paint on the walls dirty and the place stunk. What an embarrassment to Lincare Corporation as I've been to the southern Ca office and it was beautiful. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS OFFICE AGAIN. EVEN IF MY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT. RUN, DON'T WALK TO ANOTHER OFFICE. YOU ARE TAKING YOUR HEALTH AT RISK WHEN YOU WALK THRU THESE DOORS. I don't know how the Bellingham Lincare office stays in business. For the last few years I have received my medical equipment from Norco. My new medical insurance, Humana, does not have a contract with Norco so I attempted to get service from Lincare. Since the first week in January I have been tryng to get service from Lincare. They don't communicate at all, and when I contacted them they gave me the runaround with excuses that my doctor didn't send the correct paperwork, and that Norco didn't send the correct paperwork. Then they suggested I may need to be requalified (just recertified in late December 2018). They promised someone would call me back and days went by and I didn't hear from them. Finally, on January 29 I gave up and changed my insurance company to Premera. Now I am back with Norco. For the month of January I was uncovered by insurance for my medical equipment and had to pay out of pocket. As I post this review, I still have not received a callback from Lincare. Because of the extremely poor service and unwillingness to return phone calls I decided to take my business elsewhere. My new supplier had me fill out a form to get my records sent to them. The new supplier e-mailed Lincare twice, sent someone personally to the Limcare office and dropped off the request, I called Lincare once, and finally after two weeks I had to go to the Lincare office to get my records. When handed the records I asked why it took two weeks to get them and was told I don't know but you have them now. No apology and a bad attitude. The office is a mess, with dogs running everywhere and stains all over the carpets. Not a great presentation for a medical equipment supplier.
