Stopped in for Breakfast, and was not sure what to expect, you could easily pass it by as it just sort of blends into its surroundings...but there is plenty of parking in the back. We were greeted warmly upon entering and it just got better from there, the service was amazing the food was delicious!! I had trouble deciding because of all the great options on the menu, plus a full special board. I landed on the crab cake eggs Benedict and could not have been happier with my choice!! Breakfast with the pigs at Hoaty's! I was looking for a place to eat breakfast and kill a little time, and stumbled onto this gem. Small mom and pop shop with pig decor, excellent service, a simple but delicious menu of breakfast/lunch items, and homemade deserts. Of note, I had the blueberry coffee cake, grilled, with butter on it. I went hog wild! It was freaking delicious. This place is wonderful! It has a super homey vibe with great & quick service. The prices are MORE THAN reasonable for really simple yet TASTY food. My friend got the lobster roll and rates it a "5/5- also great portion for the price." I got the breakfast sandwich and was very content. The home fries were the perfect addition! Just ate at Hoaty's for the first time and I will definitely return! The menu is not as extensive as some diners, but makes the decision making process easier than when overwhelmed by options. The Farmer's Omelette was delicious: corned beef hash, fresh broccoli, fresh sautéed onions, and cheese. I've never finished an omelette before eating at Hoaty's - normally they're too rich and cheesy; this was a perfect balance of well cooked eggs and just enough cheese to enhance the other ingredients. Friendly staff, good service, good food...I'll be going back to Hoaty's! If they offered real maple syrup with the French toast (also very tasty) I'd give this classic diner five stars. read more

This place is a family event. Pam and Gary do a terrific job and are as loyal to their customers as their customers are to them. My father-in-law says that nobody can beat Gary's pancakes.
