We got a glazed donut also, and it was so good! Will definitely be back. Got 3 pancakes to share with one kid and still had left overs.

Spinach and cheddar omelette with to die for cobble bread

My husband and I went for a mid morning breakfast on a sunny day last week, and ate on their outside deck area. I had a very good spinach and cheese omelet with hash browns and tried their cobble bread, which is so amazing we got a a loaf to take home. (It has raisins and pecans and is so good). My husband loved his eggs Benedict which he said was cooked perfectly, with a creamy hollandaise sauce. The server was attentive, even though we were the only table outside and very friendly. If you want fabulous baked goods, including home made donuts, you'll find an array of delectable items to eat there or take home. This restaurant has been around for a long time and their experience shows. We look forward to coming back soon!

This place, the food, and the people who work here are absolutely delightful. The service makes you feel like you are having brunch with family and the ambiance is casual but clean and professional. They also have a table of delicious baked goods - danishes, donuts, muffins - made fresh daily which go fast so get there early! This place is not close to home for us, but we will definitely be back.

Your average breakfast place, small, so there is usually a wait. I was there with a party of 3. We got the Mushroom omelette, topped French toast w/ Huckleberry sauce, eye opener egg breakfast and a side of Blueberry pancakes. Service was fast and very friendly. I'll go again if I'm in the area looking for breakfast.

This restaurant is fantastic and also happens to be one of the best bakeries around. The donuts are the best I've ever had, hands down.

After an overnight stay in nearby Portsmouth, found THL on an internet search for best lobster…read morerolls in area and this place was at top of the list. So on our way home we trekked down 1A to Rye, NH looking for this place. Well worth the stop, easy to place order and wait was minimal. Got the fluffy chowder and hot buttered lobster roll. The chowder was outstanding with good amount of lobster meat mixed in with the clams. It was hot, thick & creamy, the roll was also outstanding and every bit as good as advertised, loaded with lobster meat. It's definitely a repeat visit if ever back in the area.

I was a bit nervous heading in 30 min before close. I felt like the soup was a really good value, for taste and quality. I'm partial to soup, and preferred the Fluffy Chowder, as it was less sweet than the bisque, bringing together the best of both worlds. The grilled cheese was very good, chunks of lobster with the right amount of cheese to hold it all together on bread that was perfectly toasted to support what was about to go down. It came with a smaller portion of soup for dipping. Would definitely go back!
