I am working on connections to gas space heaters in my home, and needed a 1/2 to 3/8 adaptor for the line, which is typically used for plumbing applications- therefore I returned to this store. Upon walking in, I made eye contact with the associate who assisted me yesterday and began a conversation with him. I placed the heater down on the counter so that I could show him the threads needed for the bottom connection, and in the middle of the conversation between the associate and I, a bald-headed man loudly interjected, "hey bro we is that a space heater? We don't work on those this is a plumbing shop dude." To which I replied, "look man I just need a connection". The associate who had helped me previously corrected the presumptuous manager who made an incorrect assumption and automatically prejudged my situation without ever welcoming me to the shop, or asking how they could help me. I let the manager know that I was looking for a part, and that I felt he had been a little abrasive as he came in pretty hot towards the situation. He looked at the associate and said "sell him his shit and get him out of here." When I asked him if there was an issue, he said "I'll fucking clock out right now and we can go outside and handle the problem." Never have I been threatened with physical battery by a customer service employee before, but to add fuel to the fire, he aggressively pointed at the sign on the wall and said "I can fucking refuse service to anybody I want." His profane-laced and aggressive attitude towards customers is obviously a concern, and unless you want to be threatened with physical violence from unstable staff with no people skills, I'd suggest frequenting one of the many other plumbing supply shops in San Antonio.

I was initially there to conduct comparison shopping at the time; however, the availability and competitive pricing of products (e.g., cabinetry, quartz countertops & sinks) prompted me to go ahead and initiate an order with Phillip for purchase and installation accordingly. I especially liked having the opportunity to raise the height of the countertop backsplash from 4" to 5" and to order custom-made cabinets for the bathrooms if I so desired! The project from start to finish took approximately one month, and Phillip was diligent about providing intermittent updates. The installers, Jesse and Juan, were timely, organized, respectful of the property and noticeably competent. I appreciated the fact that NGKB owner, Allen--who also served as the project manager--took the time to QC the installation upon completion! A special shout out goes to one of the contracted plumbers, Beto, who went above and beyond by providing a high level of service and expending the quality time to ensure that everything was functional and operational! So far, so good! I plan to return to NGKB for future kitchen or bathroom remodeling endeavors!

OMG restorations charged me 90% of the total cost to remodel our kitchen to make…read moreit ADA compliant and completed only 26% of the contracted items before the Project Manager said there was no more money to finish the project. They breached the contract and would not pay sub-contractors so I had to pay the sub-contractors on top of what I paid OMG in order to prevent liens from being put on our residence. This nightmare started in October of 2023. It's mid-Feb. of 2024 and I have had to find other sub-contractors to finish what OMG couldn't. The owner doesn't answer or return calls or provide a completion date. Due to our special circumstances, the owner told a sub-contractor that he needed to keep the cost as low as possible and then he passed a 64% mark-up on the cabinets to me. I cannot advise strongly enough to stay away from this company.

The owner did help me prove to the contractor it was his fault but he refused to use his insurance and it was not worth suing because we would " have to crime scene " for about two years. With mold growing demolition was in order and the owner said she would give me tile the second at her cost but that was not the truth. I begged her to give me a strong discount because 16,000$ in tile went into the dumpster but she would not. She said 7$ a foot was the cost of the tile I wanted and that was her cost. My new contractor found the same product ( not glass- such a nightmare I was too afraid) for 6.50$ a foot, so thanks for nothing Design Materials!! No class at all.

This location has had some very much deserved TLC over the last few years, and it is probably one of the most "modern" looking Targets in San Antonio. This location has everything and anything you can imagine and more! From plants, to home decoration, groceries, clothing, school supplies, you name it! However, the main reason why I am not giving them a full five stars is because of the way this location has their product placement. They have items from the same category spread in two separate locations. Why? My guess it that they want customers to walk all over the store to find products. Here is one example, I was looking for Jurassic World toys for my kid and they had them spread in two locations of the store (toy section and a random path in other section of the store). Another example would be their school supplies sections which again was spread between two different locations, making us go back and forth to get what we actually needed. I would prefer if they had everything in one place and just let customers shop a little more efficiently instead of making us guess where the second part of what we are looking for is actually located.

I ask him if someone is in there and he says yes, but if he let's me in then he has to let everyone else in and again he directs me to the pharmacy. I'm irritated now and really need to use the bathroom so I tell him that and he finally moves. After this I left and did not even buy anything I was so disgusted. I don't plan on going back to this or any Target.
