What makes it worth it are: (1) they are totally honest and won't rip you off (tell you that you need service you don't really need, sell you bad quality or used parts, etc.); (2) they keep careful records so you know what's coming up and why (and so you don't get two radiator flushes in 3 months like I did at another shop that doesn't keep good records); (3) the work is done right, and in the time-frame they quote. You pay a little more, but you get peace of mind and a car that works right. In my mind, that's a totally reasonable bargain.
