Philly Hoagie

Great 7" Philly hoagie with the fresh lettuce and tomato. Bread was a good handful and could probably take another sandwich with lots of sauce before getting too soggy. Perfect lunch menu item.

Small cheese pizza and a Philly hoagie

I've wanted to try this place for a while and it was so good! Cute little place with a really good hoagie!

It's been awhile since I'd eaten here. In fact one of the last times I was here the owner was still serving food. He talked to me about the old days living on the east coast and said he would be retiring and his daughter would be taking over. I can tell you he was a very friendly, personable man and the food was always hot and on point. Today I encountered a young man at the register, I asked about the special tomato pepper relish for my 12 Philly cheesesteak and what type of cheese was on it. He reassured me the relish is on the sandwich and walked over to the cheese station and picked up a piece with his bare hands showed me and put it back. After he rung up my order I asked him to not give me that cheese he picked up and would he wear gloves when fixing my sandwich. He politely said no problem. He did put on gloves, as l watched him. Thankfully the store was crowded. Overall the sandwich was good, I think the bread was homemade. I bought one 12" sub for $12 and my husband ate at least 8" of it. I will go back again but young folk have to keep the standard of the original owner. I liked the food but the previous standard of customer service was why I returned!!!

Where's the beef??? My hubby and I always enjoyed coming to Hobby's Hoagies for their delicious Philly steak sandwiches. Since the pandemic we haven't been able to come in and enjoy their sandwiches. We finally made it today and I was very disappointed at the lack of beef that was in our Philly steak sandwiches. There was more pizza sauce than beef. They have french fries on the menu but did not have french fries today, so we ordered potato salad which had an odd taste to it. Maybe they were having a bad day.

Cute place. They cut their meats inside. I tried this Philly steak. It was good, next time I'll add extra cheese.

Pretty impressed! I didnt realize this has been here for awhile, but decided to come buy for dinner with the family. Philly steak was great, cooked to order, with soft bread. They garnished with veggies and peppers and that slight pickle/spicy made the sandwich! Definitely put together well. Pizza, crust was thin, slightly chewy, with a crisp. Kids loved it and loved dipping it in ranch. Young kids working there so my husband didnt have much expectations, but he was pleasantly surprised! Definitely adding this to the dinner list!

I was in the mood to try a new restaurant in Edmond and this was the winner. I also went out of my "usual" sandwich preference by going cold verses pressed and hot. My sandwich came out quick and was good but I wouldn't get it again. I'd still love to try different ones, however, little more to my usual liking.

Super nice staff, amazing sandwiches and pizza. The meatball sub is legit as are the Italians and phillys. Great little place.

Pretty tasty and very good options. Price is alright for what you get. A good spot for a casual lunch downtown.

The entrance has had a light refresh as well. Gone is the big glass dessert display case but the additional walking space is nice. Sadly we learned that the cakes are being discontinued, RIP the wonderful carrot cake. Fortunately we snagged one of the last pieces. It's my understanding that cookies and other sweet treats will still be available. The menu is loaded with new and exciting choices. Deciding what to choose was a great problem to have. We started with the Trio Dipper with house made chips and balloon bread, which is like pita bread on steroids and just as delicious. The dip selections were terrific and we were brought more chips when ours ran low. Two of us ordered the Tuscan Chicken. They were exceptional bites. They were parmesan breaded chicken fritters stuffed with the tomatoes and cheese. It's an inventive take on a traditional recipe and a tasty home run! My husband ordered the Chicken Piccata, looking for a lower calorie option. The lemon butter wine sauce was delicious and it's a terrific option. The last guest chose the fried chicken which is an old and familiar favorite. You absolutely cannot go wrong. We ended the night sharing a piece of carrot cake and a salted caramel cookie.

When you walk in, you'll notice several menus to choose from: Pizza, Pasta, Salads, Sandwiches, and even Seasonal Dishes. Simply grab the menu that fits your craving, fill out your selections with a pencil, and hand it in. I think it's a clever and efficient concept for ordering. We arrived just after the lunch rush, but the place was still buzzing with people. After placing our orders, we grabbed our drinks and found a table. Service was quick, and the food came out hot and fresh. I ordered from the Sandwich menu, and my friend went with the Build Your Own Pasta option -- he let me sample his, and it was delicious! Everything tasted well-prepared and satisfying. Overall, I love the concept and atmosphere here. I'll definitely be back to try another menu next time. Highly recommend giving Cafe 7 a visit if you're in the mood for a casual, tasty, and well-organized lunch spot!

Gage, our waiter was very professional and helpful. He guided us through the menu and helped us make good choices. We started with three mule cocktails. We had the Oaxacan, the Moscow and Kentucky Mules. Everyone enjoyed the cocktails. One thing that stood out to me for my Oaxacan Mule is that the Mezcal's smoky flavor really shown through and it was not overly sweet. A very clean cocktail, which I highly appreciate! We ordered the Chef's Salad Wrap with Onion Rings, French Dip with the tomato soup, and the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with seasonal side of grits. I enjoyed the Chef's Salad Wrap but I would probably be a little more bold next time and get the Cortez or the Reuben. I craved a lighter choice and was more sinful with the over the top delicious onion rings! Wowowow! Hubby enjoyed his soup and French dip and son enjoy his Philly cheesesteak and grits. I would definitely love to revisit and try more of their items.
