I stopped in for a sandwich while at Bleu Garten last night. The cheesesteak I ordered was generously filled, and had just the right amount of au jus, grilled sweet peppers, and caramelized onions. The bun had a chewy, brioche-like texture to it, and that really topped things off for me. The service I received? It was both courteous and fast. The food was really good. I had the chicken tacos. I think the tortillas were homemade. If not, I'd like to know where they got them. They were great. The chicken was tender and juicy. Loved the flavors. My husband had the beef frito pie. He said it was really good too. He said there were a few too many chips and not quite enough cheese. He's a big fan of the cheese whiz cheese The wait for our food was pretty long. There were probably 10 people who ordered ahead of us so we expected a wait. 30 minutes seemed long though. It was extremely hot outside so that made it even worse. The heat is obviously not their fault, just explaining why the wait bothered me so much. Well the food was quite good but when paying with credit the card program screen defaults to a 30% tip which is automatically added when pressing the continuing to pay button which added a 30% tip and I had verbally requested to leave a cash tip to the cashier as I wanted to choose as it was a take out order which I planned to be 20% I clearly asked to cancel the transaction redo it and the employee claimed she did not know how to reverse the charge and stated was not trained on how to do it - this is a sad reality that makes me write a negotiable review I will not recommend a business that has incompetent employees and will never return my business to them again. The default charge was difficult to see on the small screen and I believe intentionally imposed. This is clearly an unacceptable wrongful practice. First time writer of a complaint. read more

How have I never left a review?! Y'all I have been *obsessed with this truck for years! Years of working as an event planner i regularly asked them to come to events because everyone loves them! And they literally always would sell out! First their employees are amazing! The most kind people you will ever meet- I'm serious. Second their food is to die for! The most authentic philly I have had outside of philly. And yes I have had both Pats and Genos. If you know, you know. Seriously love them. This past weekend they were in our neighborhood and boy did they deliver! And also sold out within 2 hours! Bam. They don't skimp on the portions. Every sandwich is huge! I'm usually not a big fan of cheesesteak but I decided to split something while working my booth at a recent festival. We got the Frito Philly Pie and surprisingly I liked it. It's a little weird to have Cheez Whiz on cheesesteak but with the Fritos, it worked. I plan to try other items next time! The brownie was dry and seemed old. Maybe it was the heat that dried it out because it was crazy hot that day. The line was long but what would you expect at a festival? I was at Beats & Bites, an event that Riverwind Casino has throughout the summer when I do happen to find this little gem. I was standing in line at another food truck when the smell of Philly cheesesteaks lured me over. It was a pretty busy time, but I believe that I did get my food within a decent time. My boyfriend didn't even order his food yet when I got mine, and there were just about the same amount of people in line. I gotten the Chipotle Philly Cheesesteak, which had this chipotle aioli sauce on top instead of cheese whiz.... thank goodness! I don't care what anyone says, cheese whiz is disgusting. Came across this food truck at Bleu Garten. We got there at 10:56 before any of the trucks opened so the wait wasn't long at all. We tried the Philly, grilled philly (your typical philly fixings on toast vs a hoagie), tacos, and their special of the day, the Texan which had queso instead of the cheese whiz. All in all the food hit the spot! As mentioned in another post, the bread was fresh and made it easy to eat the sandwich which overflowed with meat cheese and grilled veggies. I have eaten here 3 times at the collective determined to find something that doesn't flip my stomach but I haven't been able to. I love phillycheese steaks but each time I've eaten here I've ended up with horrendous food poisoning. The first time was the MVP, the 2nd time was the OG, and the 3rd time was the okie with the Mac and cheese fries. I'm not sure if maybe I'm just unlucky but maybe a problem going on? It tastes okay each time, I did have to send the Mac and cheese fries back because the cheese has mold spots on it the first time, but I was told that that batch was thrown away and a new one made before I got another one. read more

I encountered Phill Me Up at a fundraising event at OU involving several food trucks. When I finally arrived at Phill Me Up, the wait for food was a half hour. Thinking that was a good sign, my buddy and I ordered a regular cheesesteak and a cheesesteak griller. We wanted around 25 minutes before getting our food. The cheesesteak was mine. It is served on a 6 or so inch roll, and the bread was FRESH. Good bread is a crucial part of a sandwich, and it's one that is too often ignored by sandwich makers. Very solid bread here. I got my cheeseteak with the classic whiz and some grilled onions. The cheese whiz tasted like cheese whiz does: creamy, hot, and semi-cheesy. I found that it didn't get to the nooks and crannies of the sandwich very well. The bottom half of my sandwich was dry and screaming for cheese. I tried to distribute it the best I could, but I was only able to do so much eating outdoors with a plastic fork. You get a good amount of steak and onions, and they are grilled for a LONG time. Too long I think, a lot of my steak was crispy on the edges, and not tasty crispy, nearly or completely burnt crispy. The meat was inconsistent throughout the sandwich, but I did get some juicy and flavorful bites. I know that if they could put together a sandwich with just bites like that, it would be fantastic. I didn't try the griller, but it was basically a grilled cheese with cheesesteak. I would return and try a sandwich with provolone or maybe a sauce of some kind to cut down on the dryness. These guys clearly care about quality given the bread, I think I just got an inconsistent sandwich that probably wasn't one of their best. I'll seek them out and hopefully upgrade to a 4 star or 5 star review. read more

Tried this place at at Moore's food truck Fridays. I was extremely surprised by how great their Philly steak sandwich was. The best part was the fact that you could swap out the cheese whiz for provolone. The bread itself was super soft and super fresh. The rest of the ingredients were also fresh and really flavorful.
