I wanted very well trained pups, my husband wanted couch potato's lol My husband and I are retired, older and were not prepared when we took on 2 sibling puppies which now weigh 103 lbs (Odin) and 88 lbs (Xander). So when we found Mike we were ecstatic!! Fast forward to the pups at 2 yrs with Mike's expertise training we can walk them loose leash together or apart, they stay in place until called, they listen on command sit and stay, lay down relaxed in a non aggressive position when reactive dogs are around, and never leave our sides unless released. I have the confidence to walk both dogs by myself in public areas (female just over 100 lbs) because I know that I have total control of my pups at all time - you see it's not just about training the pups... it's been a great training experience for us too! We learned how to control our pups, did our homework with them and ensured they "work" everything Mike showed us, to reinforce what he had taught our pups. One of our sessions included bosu ball training - Mike explained how effective this would be for core, balance and confidence... now they roam on the ball for 30 mins almost everyday and you can see the ripple rewards!! We always get the remarks "Good Looking Dogs" but the interesting comments are "are you a trainer?" because the pups are so good!
