I bought a late…read moremodel Honda hybrid from VIPRE, and have had decent luck with it, but the few times I brought it into them, the bill was always near or above $1,000. In one instance, they charged me $1,200 to replace ONE headlight, and they didn't even fix it correctly- I had to bring it back in because the mechanic hadn't replaced the "igniter". The other headlight went out 2 months later, so I took it to a recommended moonlighter mechanic- he fixed the set-up without fuss for $200, and a year later it's still running strong. I really don't think Shamit and crew are intentionally trying to rip customers off, I just think there's a disconnect between the management and the repair side of the business. And, if you get caught up in that "disconnect", it will cost you thousands of dollars. Shamit has never fixed this issue, so beware to the car owner looking to get a repair. Needless to say, my next used car will probably be purchased at VIPRE, but my repairs will be going elsewhere. Three stars: good cars, bad repair service.

Sat there for four hours before they told me I need to just leave my car. They called me back on Tuesday and told me what part they needed, a small wire, and that I would need to wait until they ordered it. On Wednesday I called to check the status, the part had not been ordered yet on Thursday, I called to check the status. They said the part was ordered, but not in yet. On Friday the part finally came in. They did the work, I picked up my vehicle and the check engine light was still on. They did not fix the problem, their employees were fighting in front of customers. The waiting area was absolutely filthy, they let me sit for hours upon hours before telling me. I had to leave my car anyway. They never called me back. I only got updates if I called them. They quoted me one price and then added $100 to that. I can't tell you how awful this place was, for a dealer there's a level of respect you hope they want to have over other mechanics, but clearly this location doesn't give a shit about anybody not even their own employees. Disgusting experience I would not recommend anyone going here for anything.

I purchased the car on a Sunday as is. Because the car came from the Baltimore location and it was after hours, I didn't even think I should test drive the car because I trusted Eastern's not to sell me a car with issues, however that is not the case. As I drove off the lot and hit one bump, the entire bottom of the car rattled. It felt like serious suspension issues, or something under the car. I did let Yanna P know the very next morning. After some back and forth for almost two weeks I was told my extended warranty was active. I was confused because I felt i didn't do anything to the car so what does the extended warranty have to do with it. Nevertheless, I made an appointment and have to pay $189 for the car to be looked at, and it appears I may have to fit the bill for the work that needs to be done if the issue is not covered. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE AS IS without test driving the car first from Eastern's. I put my trust in a dealership I thought wouldn't sell me a messed up car, but they did. To make matters worse, the transporter who drove the car from the Baltimore location never told Yanna P. about the rattling noise and possible issues before she gave me the keys, or if he did I was never made aware. In the end it appears everyone just wanted a sale with no thought of the consumer experience. We accepted the vehicle despite the high mileage because there was no other comparable vehicle available at the time, and it was eligible for the federal Clean Vehicle Tax Credit. In my opinion, vehicles intended for customers should be delivered in the best possible condition. Dealership management should not be putting extensive personal mileage on vehicles that will later be sold as new. The delivery experience was also poor. The EV was delivered without a charging cable, and I only received one after I noticed it was missing and asked for it. In addition, the trim on the right rear side of the vehicle was loose when I took delivery. It took the dealership about a month to complete that repair. The most frustrating issue has been the federal Clean Vehicle Tax Credit. The IRS has informed me that it has no record of my vehicle's sale for the Clean Vehicle Credit. I contacted King Kia of Laurel multiple times for assistance. I emailed Mr. White, the Sales Manager, over a month ago and never received a response. I also spoke with someone in the accounting department nearly two months ago, but I have still received no help. Customer service after the sale has been extremely disappointing. It's easy to be friendly when making a sale, but what matters is how customers are treated afterward. Unfortunately, I did not receive the level of professionalism or support I expected. Since then, I have purchased both a Kia K4 and a Kia Carnival from other Kia dealerships because I chose not to return to King Kia of Laurel. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealership. I will not be returning for future purchases.

The lot was small but highly organized, the cars are all clean, come with clear carfax reports and the salespeople are no pressure! They let my son and I roll out for a long unaccompanied test drive which was a nice touch. As far as used car dealership goes so far So good. I will update the review in 1 month!
