I can 100% honestly say that you will not only save a minimum of $3,500 by buying through Vipre Automotive. but the expertise and experience of the "dynamic duo" of Shamit and Horace is priceless. Everyone knows that the 2nd largest purchase, next to a home, is buying a car. The biggest difference is your home is an investment and your car is NOT. Why someone would buy a new car is beyond me. The moment you drive it off the lot, you are now driving a USED car. As soon as it's titled, you just lost $8k+ depending on the type and price of the vehicle. As for the boys at Vipre Automotive, I have personally bought vehicles from them since 1997. Since then, my family and friends have also had confidence in buying their vehicle through them. Back in the day, I had the opportunity to experience the mad house of the weekly Manheim Auction. That was many years ago when you could assist in transport and witness 1,000s of cars being sold every Friday all year long. It's interesting that you see every dealer in the Mid Atlantic and the Northeast bidding against each other to jack up prices and make a tremendous profit on us, the consumer. They spend a few mins running around with a clip board knowing no matter what they buy, they will sell and make a profit. The significant difference is the BIG dealers Used Car Sales guys aren't dissecting cars nor have the experience of Vipre and they lack the knowledge that Shamit and Horace have. i would bet most of these used car sales managers DO NOT have 30+ years experience nor have a college degrees in Engineering. How about an MBA and prior military experience working on Military Aircraft. With over 60+ years combined experience in the auto industry, including mechanical repair and body work, nothing is slipping by these guys. They actually HAND PICK your vehicle and YOU will never over pay as they pass on more cars that the other dealers. They know what their customers budget is and will not out their reputation on the line for anyone. are gibvling up because they know the avg and majoriety of people. Seems some folks don't even know dealerships make all their money on Used Cars and Service. So you will always pay a minimum of $3-8,000 over the "Black Book aka Trade In Value" for a car they buy. Dealerships will throw warranty's at you and make you think you are getting a better value but the fact is because Vipre only buys 2-3 yr old cars, your still covered on the "Bumper to Bumper" Warranty. That said, brakes, tires, etc arent even covered in a Warranty but Vipre I believe still gives a 90 day warranty on everything. When they get the car back prior to inspection amd getting tags on your "new" car, they've already inspected everything and will install new brakes, new oil change, etc and you dont pay a dollar more. The pics attached are our "new" car and its nicer than we expected. It's important to know it can take one week or several because they aren't going to pulll the trigger unless they are 100% sure it's in amazing condition, one owner, clean car fax and have personally inspected the car before it goes on the auction block. (They've pointed out body work that's not been reported on a CarFax) They also won't over pay so it may take a few weeks and the Lexus we just bought took only 2 weeks. We got everything we wanted including color, fully loaded, luxury package and the only thing we changed our mind in was the interior color. The wife wanted Tan and I wanted low miles and in perfect condition. And the black looks amazing so no regrets. They are always looking for new customers but they aren't desperate for business. WE PAID Vipre A $1,000 fee while the dealer wanted $4,500. Great job guys!!

Overall, VIPRE and Shamit made a normally stressful experience into a really easy one where I felt in-the-loop.

***3rd update ***** It is absolutely unbelievable. How completely shitty these workers, these…read moremechanics, and this owner... Is. My daughter's car has now been here another week, and they assured her, that they could find nothing wrong... And we are sitting here in the lot right now and the check engine light came back on. They said they just don't know what to do anymore... What in the actual hell kind of answer is that? This is your car? Chevy this is one of your vehicles... And your mechanics cannot figure it out? This is absurd. I can't figure out for the life of me how in the world you stay in business when your answer to a customer... Is "I don't know what to do"... We have taken this to other mechanics, and they couldn't figure it out and told us that we must go to the dealer! Because the dealer understands their own vehicles... But you hired these mediocre POS mechanics who don't actually know your vehicle vehicles! How in the world... How in the world do you function with this kind of shitty customer service, mechanical service, and ownership service *****2nd UPDATE**** well that excitement was pretty short-lived... Less than one day later check engine light is back on, only now rather than trying to figure out the problem, they're trying to sell a new vehicle. Typical. The car doesn't have high miles even though it's a 2016. We have replaced the thermostat, the catalytic converter, the timing belt, the O2 sensors, the ignition coils, it has new brakes, and now because of a wiring issue that they can't seem to figure out... Even though we owe quite a bit on the car still... They're trying to flip it and get a sale out of us. Disgusted. Thanks a lot Mark. You put me in touch with someone..That's just trying to sell us another car.... It's disgusting how condescending your sales people are knowing we are upside down on a loan for a car that you guys can't even figure out what's wrong with it... Knowing another car payment is not the answer, but looking at your bottom line only and not caring about the customer at all. Chevy is the worst. Made an appointment for Monday at 10 AM. Sat there for four hours before they told me I need to just leave my car. They called me back on Tuesday and told me what part they needed, a small wire, and that I would need to wait until they ordered it. On Wednesday I called to check the status, the part had not been ordered yet on Thursday, I called to check the status. They said the part was ordered, but not in yet. On Friday the part finally came in. They did the work, I picked up my vehicle and the check engine light was still on. They did not fix the problem, their employees were fighting in front of customers. The waiting area was absolutely filthy, they let me sit for hours upon hours before telling me. I had to leave my car anyway. They never called me back. I only got updates if I called them. They quoted me one price and then added $100 to that. I can't tell you how awful this place was, for a dealer there's a level of respect you hope they want to have over other mechanics, but clearly this location doesn't give a shit about anybody not even their own employees. Disgusting experience I would not recommend anyone going here for anything.

Waiting for an update? The promised tariff rebate check will be deposited anytime now. I live equal distance between dealers at this rate l will think about where l point my car in the future. Getting your car fixed is important, but communication is how any service department is judged. Fail in that, losing customers is following right behind

They inspected my car for a trade in. When I got home, I discovered they had not actually closed the hood fully!! Thank god I hadn't driven on a highway or at high speeds; it could have flown open! How can you be so completely incompetent that you can not even be bothered to close the hood!?! But, they had a car I was interested in. I got pre approval, an offer for my trade in, and made an appointment. Smooth so far. Everything went to pot -- literally -- when we arrived. We waited almost an hour for a salesperson. Some of this was on me, I got there early for the appointment. Still, telling me they wouldn't be available would have been nice. Even so, they were horribly late for my appointment. My trade in mysteriously dropped in value by over 75%. And, the worst part? We go to test drive the car, and it REEKS of cigarettes and smoke. An hour later, and I'm still coughing. No effort to clean up the smell was made, no indication on the listing, nothing. The salesman tried to tell us the last test drive must have done it: bull. It was that deep, set in, stale smell that comes from constant smoke. And they knew it -- all the windows were down when we got in, the only attempt to cover. What an absolute waste of time. Also, to add insult to injury, their wifi barely works, and the vending machine stole $3 from me.
