When I got here there was a 5$ cover charge I was like cool is there an ATM? There was so I went to get 60$ from the ATM and I received 40$ I'm positive there was no money when ok left the ATM but when I told the owner he yelled at me "I'll find someone to fix it", so I go back to my table thinking it's all good, I'll get my 20$ back and NO! The owner yells at me" I told you to stay where you were. Even though I had the recipt!! So he sent the GM Eric to scold me.. Eric asked for the receipt I gave it to him and asked why they couldn't just look at the cameras to see who took it, he said my 20$ wasn't worth shit and he put me out of hoggsbreath and threatened the sheriff (who showed up quickly) even though all I asked them were to be a good business and at least give me a food credit for the money I lost? I will never spend another dime here and I encourage others to do the same. Why spend money where it's not appreciated? read more

When I heard our little group was meeting at Hoggsbreath I had memories of years past and stumbling into biker bars or the time I was surrounded by bikers at another location. Reading other Yelper's viewpoints only made me more cautious. None of my fears were realized. No metal detector, a tame crowd of various ages. Service was swift. Taking advantage of Happy Hour food and drink specials we waiting an exceptionally long time for the first appetizer but the second order took less the ten minutes to arrive. The story is this place has a past which seems to be cleaned up and I would not hesitate to visit here again. It's very similar to other sports themed bars (see Legend's) and there is nothing outstanding and nothing less than average. Caution: The Restrooms are located downstairs in the game room and if your legs are shaky from a night of drinking with your buds use the large hand rails for support. read more

A nice after work bar. It seems to changed from a dive bar to a nice bar. Pool tables downstairs and really nice wait staff.

Food and service is awesome. You must try the $5 Burger Baskets on Mondays, it's a wonderful deal of the week. Also the entertainment after 9pm is great. Security is very nice and the GM is the coolest! read more

I gave it a 3 because its been a while since Ive been there and it was pretty shady but its nice to hear its cleaned up! They do have multiple activities to keep you busy and if the staff doesnt have their old snotty attitudes then its a great place! Ive been rambling down the road a few blocks to Deans, they have live music some weekends, really good food and a varied crowd that all seem to get along. Here is an updated review. I LOVE THIS PLACE! Great Happy Hour with real bargains. All the appetizers are 1/2 off, as are the pints of Summit I do so love, as opposed to lots of places where you get a buck or two off the regular prices. Not as "happy". Forget the free tacos, sloppy joes, etc, offered on weekdays. Burgers, breakfasts, everything I order to eat is consistently good. The wait staff is great. Very friendly and warm. I sometimes go alone, with a book, for the great bargains. Although my favorite experience is sitting in the sun on the deck on a summer afternoon. WAR ZONE!!! Went here with my friend for just an impromptu drink. It was wall to wall packed. At the end of the night there was a line to get out. I was along side the bar leaving when a fight broke out on the dance floor all of a sudden people started grabbing random glasses off the bar and chucking them towards the dance floor like grenades. My whole back side was wet from random half drank drinks and melted ice being pelted from everywhere. I started pushing to get OUT. When we got out there were 2 fighting between cars all you could see was dudes elbow peek out from the car. he was beating the snot out of somebody. Went to enjoy some happy hour cocktails and some good apps on a Wednesday night. THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD OR SEEN....took forever to even get the first round of drinks, then it took 50 minutes...YES 50 minutes to get our two entrees. ARE YOU KIDDING??? Had some more drinks and more drinks...NO FOOD YET. Even talked to the OWNER "twice", once before the food and once after the food...... and didn't really seem to care a bit...really??? An apology was nice, but man-up and do something for the customer so we come back...WON't GO BACK AGAIN!! Then a friend came up to the table, he made the same darn comment, said next time he was going to CULVER"S!! -Worst fucking place to eat. Unless you plan on spending more then an hour waiting for your food. -The service was shit. Some co-workers and I went there on our lunch break. We sat down and ordered drinks and food within 15 minutes of being there which isn't bad but after we order it took about 40 minutes for "some of the food to come out". A co-worker and I didn't get our food at the same time as the rest of our group. It took an extra 10 or so minutes for him to get his food and in my case i didnt get my food till my check came out. Not sure what the kitchen staff was doing in the back or what happened but that wasn't the first time I have had piss poor service. On top of the food coming out approximately an hour and 10 minutes after we got there they didn't discount my food in the slightest. -I have always been happy with the food that I have gotten there. Not only one of my favorite spots to hang out at on a Friday and Saturday Night, but the patio is one of the best on this side of the Mississippi. Food is quick, very tasteful and plate sizes are large and worth the money. I'll be back for years to come. read more

Two words: FOOD POISONING. If you enjoy good old food poisoning this is the place for you! My friend and I ate here late night on Nov. 23, 2015 and within an hour got terrible food poisoning. Nausea and diarrhea are so fun. only item we both ate were cheeseburgers. My friend had a plain cheesburger patty, no bun no fries just the patty with cheese, so it had to be the $10 burgers. Yep, poison burgers. Evidently the very high food prices are due to the high cost of making sure there was plenty of bacteria poison in each burger. Do not patronize this dive. read more

As a former regular, Sunday thru Thursday nights were good. Staff had always been outstanding. Stay away Fridays and Saturdays. With the closing of Club Crystal/Star-gate; Club Cancun; Divas; and The Myth, Hoggsbreath has become thug central on the weekends. However, if you like patrons with foul mouths; acts of violence; gangster rap; the smell of cannabis; and police presence during the night, then a weekend night at the Hoggs is for you. read more

Metal detectors? Facial recognition scanners? Maybe on Saturday night, but not on the Friday night we went. This place may be a swinging place and/or biker bar on Saturdays, as some of the other reviewers have reported, but it wasn't when we were there. It felt like, dare I say, an Applebee's? Seemed more like a sports bar with typical beer prices and typical bar food. I enjoyed my time there and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Bartender thought that other things were more important than greeting my friend and me and taking a drink order for more than 10-15 minutes . And by other things, I mean talking to other staff and generally being an air-head. I've bartended in face-paced establishments for years, so I know service and priority... And I know what being busy is like, this was not one of those moments. After (eventually) taking our drink order after 10-15 minutes of non-essential activities, she then proceeds to go and stand in the food window, idly waiting for a to-go order for another ten to fifteen minutes before even attempting to make us a drink. Couldn't you of made 2 drinks before sitting and doing nothing in the food window for an additional 10-15 minutes? I'm not exaggerating on the time. It literally took 20-30 minutes to get a drink, and there were only about 6-7 other people at the bar who had already been served/drinks-in-hand, not busy at all. (I was getting up to leave about this time, but my friend wanted to stay... sigh).She eventually comes back to the bar, starts cleaning glassware and other side duties before finally coming around to making our drinks, incorrectly... I was really hoping she was gonna prove me wrong, but I knew it was going to be incorrect... I thought she would of at least asked us again what the drink order since 10-15 minutes had passed since she initially took our order. Nope. She then had to call to another server to find some grapefruit juice, time elapses, no grapefruit juice. That's OK, I'm not picky, I'll take something else... Whiskey straight, because I don't trust their tap lines if this place is being mismanaged like this(the owner/manager is sitting nearby the entire time)... Yay! Can't mess that up, other than spilling water all over the bar a couple times... But at least now I'm less irritated after getting a whiskey in hand. Finally she takes our food order. FYI during all of this, another server is trying to get a ticket discounted because of other mishaps of service for a table nearby. Food was decent actually, about what you'd expect for pub food. I wish I had something bad to say about the food due to the bad taste in my mouth from the service, but I cannot. But the service will prevent me from coming back to this establishment. Learn how to bartend. And if you're the owner/manager (idly standing by) take some initiative, you are clearly watching all this happen, train your staff how to work effectively and efficiently. Train them how to prioritize tasks. After all, you do want repeat customers, right? I would rate two stars because the buffalo sauce was pretty tasty, but I just can't do it. 1 star. read more

This is by far the worst bar ever! Used to be so much fun, not anymore. It is under new management, and the lady in charge could careless if they get your business. Very rude, condescending if you have an issue, and not focused on making a delightful dinner or night time entertainment. Do not go to this bar, it is not the friendly biker bar it once was! I love this place. It's divey without feeling dirty and they have great happy hour deals. I was drinking Newcastle on tap for 2.50. In regards to the comment below, I am a self-respecting woman and I would set foot in this place again. I don't go for the dancing or anything like that though. It's a great place to go and sit and have a drink or two. I saw skanky women though...however, they were probably in their 50's. I didn't see any wannabe bikers. The bartenders were VERY friendly and attentive and I never had to wait for another beer. The bathrooms were pretty clean when I was there and I'm picky about bathrooms.
