The chicken was some of the most inedible chicken I've ever had. Legit felt like I was chewing rubber. The "fried rice" it came with was literally just yellow (not flavorful at all) rice. There wasn't one single piece of vegetable or egg found in the fried rice. It's appalling they would even call what they gave me "fried rice". The chicken egg roll it came with did not have a single piece of chicken in it either, but I guess that's not a bad thing considering how bad their General Tso's chicken was. Rainy day today so I decided to order in with some friends and give this place a try. Estimated delivery time on Grubhub was an hour and the food was delivered right on time. We all ordered the chicken teriyaki that comes with rice, spring roll and drink for $7, as well as the chicken and broccoli. Great price and the food was pretty good and not greasy like some other places. We also tried out the shrimp tempura roll and eel and avocado roll. I've definitely had better sushi but it was still decent and enough to satisfy a small craving. Also, can't complain too much when the roll was only $4.75. Our total order was over $40 so we also received a free order of general tso which was actually pretty tasty. Overall, pretty decent Asian spot. I'd order from here again. read more

Really happy I can get a "Poké" bowl near work. Tuna always tastes super fresh. Spicy tuna bowl is my fave. Order ahead to save time. Just really wish they didn't sell cigarettes at the restaurant to the public. It would also be nice to have them prepare the sushi rolls and bowls at the front like most sushi places. read more

I ordered pretty early like 12 in the afternoon so I'm not sure if they gave me leftovers from yesterday or new. The general tso I ordered were so small and hard, I didn't even know if I was eating chicken or just breading. Their bubble teas have improved since opening though and their egg rolls are good. I called at 10:13 and asked if it was possible to order for pick up, and I said if it wasn't then obviously that's no problem. She happily took my order. At 10:22 the same lady calls me and says we're closing in ten minutes so are you in your way? I told her my husband was going to be there in ten minutes. Then she calls me again at 10:35 and says we've been closed for ten minutes are you coming? I genuinely apologize and tell her I'm sorry my husband is trying to find parking he's right outside (it's hard to find parking on Main Street in that area). Then 10:40 my husband calls me and says our order wasn't even ready! Lol he waited ten minutes for them to give it to him. I feel like they were pissed so they made us wait too? The worst part is when we actually tried to eat the food. The "chicken" was probably not chicken and was 80% breading anyways, the fried rice wasn't fried it was just regular rice but colored yellow, the sauce on the Szechwan beef was chewy, the egg rolls were half cooked and full of wet mush, and the noodles literally tasted like stale bread. This place has some pretty decent food. I've tried several different rolls of sushi here and we've also tried a variety of their fried rice. The rolls here were good, but they weren't the best I've had. I found them to have too much rice for my liking. The fried rice here is delicious! We tried the house rice, the shrimp, and the chicken. All were great. The best part is that you don't taste/see a ton of grease, as you do if you get food from other Asian spots. Delivery has always been in point. read more

Not impressed at all. First, they took an hour and a half to deliver my food on a Tuesday night. I called three times to make sure they didn't forget about my order. I ordered a California roll, Shrimp Tempura roll, and Shrimp Avacado roll. The soy sauce was nothing I've tasted before, all vinegar and salt and all it did was make my sushi unbearable. The sushi itself was extremely soft and I could not for the life of me, pick it up with chopsticks because it would give in and fall into my salt sauce. When I picked it up with my hands, the rice came off and stuck to my fingers, it was extremely sticky and difficult to eat. The salad that came with it had way too much water at the bottom. I appreciate them actually washing it but they need to drain it more. The price was the only reasonable thing. As for the taste, the California and Shrimp Avacado was average. The tempura, was below average. The shrimp was soft and mushy. There was no barrier between the Wasabi and rolls. I do not like Wasabi and yet I had no choice but to taste it. So....Hola Halal. I know it's long, but take just a minute to read the whole thing. Listen the food is great, but when there is an issue they need to own it. I placed a $92 order today, which according to the menu I got with my order yesterday should have been $82.25, but apparently prices change overnight. Doesn't matter. Needless to say on a big order like that we didn't eat everything right away. I ate my Salmon Lover's roll a few hours later, but never took the lid off before that. There was a styrofoam ball inside one of the center pieces of sushi. I called the restaurant, to inform them so they could avoid that in the future if nothing else. The manager starts by telling me she's sorry and I can have a store credit, okay fine w.e. Then because I took a picture and didn't have the food they could only give me a 10% discount. ....okay, w.e, the money isn't the issue. There's literally styrofoam in my food, it's more of a "hey, that's not food!" issue. I text the photo to the supervisor and get a call back a minute later from a regular employee, I was apparently not worth the managers precious time, despite spending $130 with them in the past 2 days. I was informed that they do not have that type of styrofoam in their establishment and they would not be able to provide me with a 10% discount. Okay. Don't give me the discount. I don't care. But don't tell me that, what? I'm trying to play you for the price of a $9 roll after spending $100? That I got styrofoam in my food and the place that made it is not only not to be held responsible, but can't even be bothered not to apologize but even just own that *maybe* just maybe there was a mistake. We just ordered $80 worth of food and it was just not worth it. Given that this place sells sushi I thought the seafood would be decent but the smell was just horrible. Frozen seafood. No flavor and bland it was horrible. We ordered 2 other chicken dishes and 2 beef dishes, both containers were filled with vegetables and white rice. There was hardly any meat and what was there was not cooked. I could smell the blood on the beef it was still raw. I've been a customer of these people for a while now, but let me tell you that has changed REALLY quickly. I ordered through DoorDash, and as I was drinking my Strawberry Bubble Tea, I noticed something floating at the top. I looked closer to find it was a dead roach. I called to complain and the manager not only tried to blame the DoorDash delivery person, but also said we (my mother and I) were bad people for being upset about this! Thankfully the DoorDash people were much more pleasant to speak with and I received my refund from them. These people are absolutely dreadful. Dishonest and deceptive people work here. I called last night at 10:10 pm asking if they would allow me to order some bubble tea at 10:45 pm and the woman that answered the phone said sure no problem. I even asked what time they closed and they said 11 pm. My family and I quickly jumped in the car and we were on the road by 10:15 pm, with an estimated arrival time of 10:40 pm. On the way, we tried to call in our order early, at 10:35 pm, and they had already turned on their answering service and we couldn't order online anymore either. We pulled up to the restaurant at 10:40 pm and saw three employees standing outside. As we rolled down our windows they turned around and avoided eye contact quickly closing their metal shutters and saying "we're closed". I explained from my window that I just spoke to you on the phone and you said I could order at 10:45 pm and you turned your answering service on. She looked at me and blatantly lied and said, "no I said 10:40 pm" and I said no I had you on speakerphone and you're lying. She looked at me with a blank expression and provided no response at all. All three employees just awkwardly walked away without acknowledging us and closed up the store. If she had just been honest and said we're going to close early today I wouldn't have driven so far with my family to get bubble tea from them. My whole family was so shocked at their disrespect and blatant lies. After a few minutes of google searching "bubble tea near me" we called Chimi Burgers in Passaic to ask if they would be willing to take an order for 4 bubble teas this late (it was already 10:53 pm by this time and they were closing at 11 pm too) and they gladly accepted and even waited 7 minutes past their closing time to allow me to drive there and get my order. Clearly, the people that work here have no clue how to run a business. I will never ever ever order anything from here and will share my incredibly negative experience will all my friends and family. Called the restaurant, to ask if they are halal. they said yes. Then asked What brand of Halal Chicken they use. After a long wait, was told Senat Poultry chicken. Mind you, I am the owner of SENAT POULTRY LLC, The last invoice Date they bought from SENAT is in November of 2016. They are lying to the public, and misleading the community to believing they are selling a true, hand slaughtered halal chicken product.
