I brought my own raquet but they have racquets for $5 to use. We were in court 1. I googled a pickleball video before I came. Pickle ball is not for the faint at heart and the workout is fierce. There are several courts to play on. I did not inquire or see a food court. We got the court for free for one hour. A good workout and good workout with friends.Thank you Picklerage for the complimentary court and the exhausting time of my life. Frankly, I am so out of shape!

I looked at their website and saw that I could just pay as a drop in and play that way, instead of becoming a member. As a result, I drove to the facility and arrived around 8:30. It is a very nice, new, bright facility with nine indoor courts. However, when I arrived I was I informed that they were completely full until about 1 pm. The receptionist informed me that you really need to reserve a court online in order to get a spot. That was disappointing but I understand it was probably more busy than normal due to the weather and the holiday. It looks very nice. Maybe on another cool day I will try to book an online reservation before driving there. They also sell plenty of pickleball gear.

Old Coast Pickleball is hands-down one of the best indoor pickleball experiences around. The…read morefacility has two indoor courts that are extremely well maintained, with excellent lighting and strong air conditioning, which makes a huge difference--especially during longer sessions. What really sets this place apart is the staff. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the game. They're always willing to answer questions, help with scheduling, and make sure everyone has a great experience. I also love how play is organized by DUPR rating instead of traditional open play. Booking by rating keeps the games consistently competitive, balanced, and way more enjoyable. You're not wasting time mismatched with players far above or below your level--it's quality pickleball every time. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable indoor facility with smart scheduling and a great vibe, Old Coast Pickleball is absolutely worth checking out. Highly recommended!

I found Old Coast Pickleball, and it looked promising. All the bookings are handled through the CourtReserve app, which made it easy for me because I was already very familiar with the app. I joined one of the events, and played with a group of 12. Though I was the new person, everyone was incredibly friendly. It seemed like a lot of people were regulars as everyone already seemed to know each other. The facility was probably the best indoor facility I have ever played in. Here are a list of things that I noticed. - High quality study nets - A/C kept the place cool, wasn't as humid as other indoor places I've been - Playing surface was in great condition, no odd bounces - Lighting was phenomenal. The place was lit well and the light didn't blind you if you got a high ball - Courts had ample room long ways, the widths were good enough for ATPs I'd love to visit this facility if I was in the area again. If you are around the area and are into pickleball, this is definitely a place to check out.

The basketball court could definitely use some improvements, though. The walking trail along the water is beautiful, scenic, and peaceful. Oddly, lots of parks in Florida but very few with designated running areas. One thing to note is…read morethat pretty much every street has a sidewalk and a concrete running path here. I found this park by looking at Apple Maps and then zooming in to see if there was an asphalt trail. I arrived really early to run here and noticed the lights kicked on around 6AM. There is a tennis court (which is where I parked), baseball fields, football field and soccer field. The water was not turned near the bathrooms, and the bathrooms were locked. Not sure if they open up at a certain time but that's the reason for my star bump. I was happy to run the asphalt path they had. If you account for the boardwalk area on the lake, you'll get about .90 miles altogether. I did my warmup on the path and ran some outside the park on the concrete. Was able to complete some short interval training by just doing about 2.5 laps on the asphalt. It was fairly flat but you're only going to get about .4 miles of a curved running area before a transition. If you're a runner, I'd recommend coming here for any runs under 5 miles. Also, people are oblivious on the asphalt and don't stay on their side. But, be glad they have asphalt to run on!
