I feel like this spot along with the Ferry Building in SF ushered in the popularity of this model of this type of market - at least in California. Depending on where you go or eat, service is going to vary, but I've always interacted with wonderful folks here. I've been here a few times now with 3/2026 being my most recent visit. We came here to pick up some items for breakfast in the coming week and walked/looked around for some fun small bites. With 20 plus vendors along with the surrounding businesses and restaurants, this is just a fun place to visit whenever you're in the Napa area. I unfortunately had to watch my alcoholic beverage intake because I was driving, but it would be great to try a few of the many available options of wine offered at the vendors. Parking: there's a pretty large lot and there's a lot of parking long the street in the surrounding area, but parking can still be a bit hectic due to the popularity of this spot.

Dedicated parking lot, can get crowded on weekends. I loved walking through the building and browsing. A nice place to stop if you're looking for a chance to get off your feet and look around a bit.

When you keep coming back, you know you've found something special. Owner Gale has built a truly exceptional operation. The equipment is always in great condition, the booking process is smooth, and the overall experience feels well thought-out from start to finish. It's clear she genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in what she's created. Our guide James was fantastic: knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and great at making the tour both educational and entertaining. He shared fascinating details about the wetlands ecosystem, local wildlife, and the history of the area, all while keeping the energy light and fun. The wetlands setting itself is breathtaking: a peaceful, scenic route that feels completely different from the usual Napa wine country experience. It's a perfect outing for families, couples, or anyone looking to explore the area in a unique and memorable way.

The tour guides are ran by a mother and son. We had the son, James. He took us to 4-5 different places known by locals and let me tell you, lines were out the door for these places. We tried one thing off the menu that was chosen by the tour guides. I was skeptical because I'm picky when it comes to food but everything was so good. The segways were so fun too. Definitely would do it again.

This is the road you want when Highway 29 is jam packed during rush hour and busy tourist season…read more Be warned that Silverado Trail is starting to get very crowded and traffic backups are now more common than they used to be, but this is still a much more pleasant way to get around the valley by bypassing the crazy traffic on 29. If you can catch the trail on a lightly traveled day, you can take a leisurely drive next to gorgeous, sun-soaked vineyards and grapevines. There are tons of picture-perfect photo opportunities along this road. There are lots of very high quality wineries along the route too, most are open to the public (and benefit from less crowds)! A lot of the wineries require appointments to be sure to check before showing up to avoid disappointment.
