Stayed for one night only while enroute to Chelan. We arrived late after 10pm, however on the day before, we did the online check in. Very quick check in when we got to the hotel and got room keys. The room was clean and even though it is an older Holiday Inn needing some TLC, there have been some remodeling improvements which was nice. The water pressure is strong, nice linens, comfortable bed. Check out was done online, too, and left keys in room. Great service, nice staff. The complimentary breakfast was basic, but enough to make us full. read more

Greeted by super friendly front desk. Lobby had complimentary popcorn, apple cider, hot chocolate, coffee and tea. Was amazed to see there was complimentary dinner on weekdays including soda and beer. Breakfast included eggs, yogurt, fruits, oatmeal and biscuits/gravy. Kids loved the automatic pancake maker. OMG! I've been raving about the hotel and the amenities to everyone. EXCEEDS MY EXPECTATIONS! Heidi at the front desk was beyond helpful and just a joy to engage with! They breakfast was well stocked and the staff was amazing. There's a small but complimentary dinner offered (may only be on certain days). Then fresh cookies nightly. And a water bottle refill station. The lobby has free Pac-Man for the kids. Another game for the kids. Free hot cocoa and cider (I went in December). It was decorated very christmasy! And the streaming options in the room allowed for you to stream directly from your phone or you can watch other apps. I could not be happier with my stay! The ONLY downside is the trash truck that comes every other day at 4:55am! Even my white noise maker didn't buffer how loud it was. And the pool was warm and welcoming! My kids and I loved it! So I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel of holiday inn. while visiting Leavenworth, and I can't say enough great things about my experience. From the moment I arrived, the service was absolutely amazing!. The staff were incredibly welcoming, polite, and helpful as well. making sure my stay was as comfortable as possible. Their genuine friendliness added such a warm touch to the trip it's clear they really care about their guests, like seriously. The breakfast was another highlight of my stay. The variety of options available was impressive, catering to different tastes and preferences. Everything was fresh, delicious, and well-stocked, even during the morning rush. Whether I wanted something light or a more filling meal to start my day, they had it covered within the food options!!!!. It was the perfect way to fuel up before heading out to go explore Wenatchee and Leavenworth! You have to love holiday inn. The omelettes were really made fresh, and the cinnamon rolls were baked really good. Drinks were alright. As for the room, it was everything I could have hoped for luckily. spacious, spotlessly clean, and designed for comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable yet clean! and I had no issues at all during my stay. The amenities provided were thoughtful and made it feel like a home away from home. The location was also super convenient for my trip to Leavenworth, making it an excellent base for exploring the area. After a long day out, coming back to such a cozy and well-maintained hotel was exactly what I wanted. Overall, I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express in Wenatchee to anyone visiting the area. I stayed here in 2015 for about 2 consecutive months straight. It's 2023 now, I booked again just because it was familiar and thought to myself...there's no way they're still doing free dinner alcoholic beverages OR that it's as nice as it was in 2015. Boy was I wrong. The hotel looks new inside, fresh and clean. Dove soaps and every fixture in the bathroom was polished and shiny. Very clean. Much to my surprise they're still serving free dinner in the evenings (weekdays only maybe?) AND alcoholic drinks (beer, seltzers). What other hotel does that??? There are so many work trucks in the parking lot. No wonder this is a choice for the working people on a weeknight Staff is so friendly. I turned around and noticed by the front counter they had a basket of free Father's Day cards in case you didn't plan ahead. Legit cards by the way. I'm just blown away by the thoughtfulness here! I travel every week for work. With all the changes in offerings, this hotel is still my favorite. They still have a free dinner with drinks, a popcorn machine, and cookies at night. Today they had free valentine's cards to pick through if you needed one to mail out to your loved ones. I see the comments regarding the staff and have never had anything but excellent customer service. I was even shocked that they serviced my room. Most hotels only do this now if you schedule it. I was shocked because I left my room messy and was embarrassed! I called down to tell them they didn't have to service the room, but I didn't have a do not disturb sign. Within minutes, they had one hanging on my door. Kudos to the team at Holiday Inn Express for always making my stays here enjoyable and memorable. For the haters who like to post negative items for non-issues, please stay elsewhere so us loyal IHG members can receive the excellent service they offer. read more

If I could leave negative stars I absolutely would! To begin with, the people at the reception desk are completely clueless. And it goes downhill from there Booked a King Spa Suite for $249/night. Get into the room and there's no oversize jetted tub...there's NO JETTED TUB AT ALL. Called the front desk to get the room I paid for and am told they removed them all about 1-1/2 yrs ago! So why are they still listing AND booking them????? The only King suites they have now come with exercise equipment in the room...I didn't need this, I needed a jetted tub GRRRR. And on top of that, these rooms show on their website as $219, but they don't want to refund the difference. Then we'ii get to the "fresh cookies from 7-9pm". Went down to get some at 8:30 and the front desk staff says " we're out" WELL MAKE SOME MORE! They're Otis Spunkmeyer cookies that can cooked in like 5 minutes, it's not 9pm, and I WANT MY DAMN COOKIES. Pretty sure if we're not downstairs by 6:30am for the breakfast they make such a big deal about, there won't be any of that left either. This was our anniversary weekend trip and this stupid Holiday Inn has pretty much ruined it. read more

Heating and cooling in our room was broken. It appeared to turn on and run, but it wouldn't cool. We roasted the first night- 78 degrees. The phone system takes you in a loop when you call the front desk. We finally got someone to take a look at it the second night. They said they couldn't fix it and brought us a fan. We roasted again. We ended our trip exhausted and crabby. It was ruined. We asked for compensation but couldn't even get a return call from the manager. They just didn't care. We will never go back. To have you hard earned money and time off work wasted due to lack of comfort in your accommodations really stinks. read more

My mom was life flighted to ICU at Confluence Hospital in Wenatchee, I had no idea where to stay or what to do. Holiday inn had my back. The hotel was the most inexpensive in town and was a safe environment. It was nice to go back to a comfortable place when my sister and I had some much on our plate. They never raised the price of the room, they had free breakfast and the bed was very cozy. My husband and I have stayed here a few times, and after the awesome customer service we received this weekend, it is time for a review!! This is one of the only pet friendly hotels in the area which is what has brought us here numerous times. There is free hot breakfast in the morning, warm fresh popcorn in the afternoon, and freshly baked cookies in the evening. There is a nice indoor pool. The rooms are clean, and the hotel is fairly quiet. They treat their guests very well. One of the managers Tammie went above and beyond to give us a little later of a check out since my husband had to work into the afternoon. We will definitely be staying here again. read more

Came out for the weekend. What a cool place! I've stayed at a ton of Holiday Inns and this is one of the better ones. The staff was super friendly and gave lots of info about the local attractions and events going on. The hotel itself was great. Location was super close to a bunch of restaurants and grocery stores. We tried a couple places but mostly shopped at the local Winco. Rooms were nice and modern, bathroom amenities provided. Beds were great, and everyone got good pillows. I will say I would have given 3.5 stars if I could simply because of the pool. I went down for a swim with the kids and the water was eeeeew. Super brown cloudiness. I really really tried to talk my kids out of it but kids will be kids and they didn't give 2..... anyhow, I declined, then did a full on hazmat wash down on both of them. Everything else was awesome. Maybe a really dirty group decided to shower in the pool. IDK. But....I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Good luck and enjoy the area. read more

This is a really great hotel to stay at when you're in the Wenatchee area or if you're visiting Leavenworth. This is a pretty popular hotel due to good prices, a friendly staff and a central location. *If you join their incentive program/app, you can earn points and perks too. We stayed here for the Leavenworth holidays so the drive is only about 20 minutes from downtown Leavenworth. Another benefit is that Wenatchee offers a variety of restaurants and shopping (so you're not just limited to the shops and meals in Leavenworth). The rooms were really comfortable & clean and the staff was super friendly and efficient. Best part was then the prices can fluctuate but when they're good, they're really good! Prices were more expensive on the holiday weekends but then reduced during the week. It's important that beds and pillows HAVE to be comfortable and both were spot on here and got good night sleeps. Bathrooms were also very clean and sterile. Additionally, they have a pool, workout gym and best of all, continental breakfast (from like 6 to 9?) which has a pretty good variety that they keep well-stocked during breakfast time. We reserved 2 hotel rooms and it turns out that both were cancelled when we only asked to cancel one! Upon arrival, we were extremely tired and looking forward to our stay. The hotel next day only gave $25 refund when we had to drive home to Seattle at midnight for 3 hours, not getting home until 3am! It was either that we drive home that night or we would be homeless on the streets of Wenatchee since all other hotel rooms in the area were booked! With a view of the dumpsters right out of my window, a small and flimsy plastic cup to drink out of, a broken weight bench and a tear in the belt of the treadmill, it still cost more per night than the Competitor right up the street where they have a beautiful-lobby, rocks glasses in the rooms and a staff that is genuinely friendly and super professional. The only reason I stayed here was that I couldn't book the room all week where I preferred. I will not let that happen again. I woke up with a sore back from the pit on the bed. We go to Wenatchee 3 or 4 times a year, usually last minute, to visit mission ridge. We've stayed at Coast and Red Lion (with no real complaints). This last weekend - the HIExpress had much better pricing so we chose them. If I have my way - I'll choose them every time! PRO: * very clean / updated rooms - simple and modest, but better than I expected for the price * no pet fees! Pet policy trusts you as a responsible owner * breakfast -great options and the woman who was responsible for keeping that area clean and stocked was very sweet and clearly loved taking care of her guests! * friendly staff at the front desk .. every interaction .. in one case they called us while at breakfast (in the hotel lounge) out of concern because our dog was whining/barking in the room. Now I know this is actually a noise complaint - and they easily could have assumed we were breaking rules leaving him alone in the room - instead they delivered the message in a kind way, without assumption and tried to help us find a way to pacify the dog while we ate breakfast in the lounge. CONS: We like walking around Wenatchee and to dinner in the pm, so this hotel is about a mile plus from that - so we had to drive a small bit - but this wouldn't keep me from making them my first choice. read more

I've stayed at a few different Holiday Inns before and I can definitely say that I was NOT impressed by this location. We stayed here two weeks ago on our way to Chelan the guy that checked us in was extremely nice and helpful. But when we got to the room we called the front desk to see if she could direct us to a good pizza place that would deliver. I know this is something we could of easily looked up ourselves but we were exhausted from the drive up there and figured it was an easy enough question. Her response was "Idk I think pizza hut but they close at 11" it was around 10:30 we decided to look them up ourselves and give them a call turns out they closed at 1am like most pizza places on the weekend ! When we were checking out the next morning we walked up to the desk and the front desk lady was talking to someone in the back after making eye contact with her she proceeded to ignore us and continue her conversation for a couple more minutes. After all its not like she gets paid help us right? The beds were comfortable and the breakfast had a really good variety of choices unfortunately that doesn't make up for the lack of good ol customer service. If it wasn't for the very pleasant young man that checked us in this post would have one star. read more

Came up here to visit a friend a much better place than my last nights stay. After staying in a roadway inn. Now I know why i have been loyal to the holiday inn chain since 2003. No surprise stains or miscellaneous hairs. The rooms well light and staff is more interested in making guest stays most comfortable and enjoyable. During this pandemic. They still offer a great breakfast that you take to the room. And cook in microwave. The pool is open. But need to make reservations. You get one hour. Unfortunately they were full for the day. We booked this hotel as a last minute trip just wanting to get out of town for a day. We chose HIE because they had an indoor pool and figured the kids would enjoy it. We had 4 people and stayed in a King size room. It was spacious, very clean and mostly comfortable. The fold out couch was not comfortable at all, but I have yet to find a fold out couch that is. We ended up folding it back up and my son just slept on the couch, my daughter on a cot we brought. We all loved the pool. Its been over a month and my 3yo daughter is still asking when we can go back to the "pool hotel." We mostly had the pool to ourselves as the hotel was pretty empty when we were there. It was small, but perfect for us to enjoy. There were plenty of clean towels and chairs to use. My only suggestion would be to have easier access to the restrooms from the pool area. Breakfast was also great. Way more options than a standard continental breakfast. Even my picky eaters were happy! We enjoyed Amy, the hostess, company and info on the area. What really made our stay was the staff! We were greeted warmly whenever we walked through the lobby. There were always snacks available. They were quick to respond with anything we needed, and had answers to all of our questions about the area. Amy even gave each of my kids a small toy, and was tickled pink when they left her thank you notes. We left on Saturday afternoon, and on Tuesday we received a hand-written and personalized thank you card in the mail. We really appreciated it, and should we ever find ourselves needing a place to stay in Wenatchee, this will be the first place we call. read more

Buyer Beware! I don't think I've ever given a one star review for a business before but this one is deserved. I made my hotel reservation through American Airlines credit card booking and fully paid through that booking agent a month prior to my stay. Upon arrival I showed my reservation and receipt to the front desk and got my keys. So far so good. When I got home I checked my credit card statement and the hotel charged my card for $120 although I had already paid for my booking! I had already paid for the reservation through the airlines website and had my receipt. The charge cleared my credit card statement last month and yet the hotel charged me again upon my stay. This is not acceptable. I contacted my credit card company and told them what happened. If I had never checked my statement (which of course I do) I would have paid twice for the night. I wonder how many other people have been double-charged. If you stay here and book through an agent rather than the hotel directly, CHECK YOUR STATEMENT! As far as the actual stay, it was fine. I would give them an a-okay 3 stars. $125 was what I paid through the American Airlines booking site for 1 night with 2 queen beds so it was reasonable. It is Wenatachee, after all. Downers: thin walls, mini fridge had a bad odor coming off of it like bad cheese. It didn't appear to be dirty or have old food in it but it smelled. I would not stay here again! I'm growing increasingly impressed with Holiday Inn Express. I stay in the Yakima one often and it's decent. This one is even better. YES it is in a crappy post-strip mall service industrial wasteland of soulless monotony. IT IS IN A PARKING LOT OMG. Whatev. Here's the thing. When I stay at a motel or hotel I always make a point of sleeping IN A ROOM and IN A BED in the room and NOT IN MY CAR in the parking lot. So, I don't really give a crap if the place is surrounded by the blinking neon infested corporate consumerism hell world of AMERICA. Let me say it again: I SLEEP IN THE ROOM IN A BED IN THE ROOM The continental breakfast is my fave. I ADORE the pancake machine. I want one. I would never leave my house (like I ever do anyway) and just eat pancakes 24/7. I would grow humongous and yeasty, a giant carbo loaded fat man of pancake machine button pressing SKINNERIAN OPERANT pigeonesque gluttony. But I don't so I will dig on the sweet pancake machine at Holiday Inn Expresses. The evening soup and sammie bar was dull and uninspired. The complimentary two glasses of wine MADE ME LOVE YOU EVEN MORE. The room was sparkling and infused with the echoes of unicorn trilling and invisible waterfall rainbows. It was very awesome. As an aside, I developed an algorithm for determining your personal unicorn name: 1. Pick your favorite annual flower. 2. The Month of your Birth 3. The last dessert you ate I am Petunia January Ice Cream pretty cool, huh? I always sleep so awesome at Holiday Inn Expresses. Nice for money! The rooms are on the nicer-side of basic, with all the usuals, plus a mini fridge and micro. The hotel is not in the nicest area (our room had a 'beautiful' view of Home Depot and Walmart), but it's actually as good as it gets as all the hotels seem to be located along this same stretch of road. There are train tracks that run along the backside of the hotel, which has the potential to be noisy...but I've actually never heard them. In general, the hotel is a bit 'loud' (both inside and out) but it wasn't as bad as I thought it might be given the other reviews. The hotel has a small indoor pool, which was LOUD and FILLED with kids...although they looked like the were having fun. The breakfast area has sufficient seating but I would give the breakfast a yawn and called it average. This is our second time staying at this hotel and we would probably stay her again. Room: 4 Amenities: 3 Cleanliness: 4 Value: 4 Overall: 3 (Can't say I'm a fan but I would stay here again) A bit of advice: 1. TAKE THE STAIRS...the elevators are PAINFULLY, PAINFULLY slow (yes, that's a double PAINFUL--it's just that bad). 2. Park early...the back lot fills quickly and the front lot is for Wendy's (and they say they WILL TOW). 3. If you want to take a great little walk, go up the street about a block, turn toward the tracks and you'll come to a great walking/riding path. Or if you want to be 'illegal' cross the tracks from the back parking lot and you'll get to the same great walking path along side a nature preserve. read more

What a horrible experience. I will never stay there again. I called ahead of time from Bothell to see if I could check in early with no extra charge. I was told by two employees that the room was ready and this was okay. So I made the three hour drive and checked in. I had been in my room for four hours when the phone rang. It was a woman from the front desk. She was calling to inform me that I will be charged for two nights. She had a cold and condescending attitude to boot. I explained to her what her two co-workers told me. I explained that I had called ahead of time before driving over. She said that didn't matter, "Sir, you are paying for two nights. I'm not going to argue with you." It boggled my mind that this would be the stance to take with a customer. So I packed up my stuff and checked out and went to a nearby competitor, which was a pleasant experience. I will never stay at that Holiday Inn Express again. And I am telling everyone I know to steer clear. read more

Holiday Inn Express Wenatchee This has to be one of the best mid-price hotels I have stayed at. The hotel is new, clean and has a very welcoming look as you drive up. The fountain and bench right outside are perfect for sitting and enjoying being outside. Checking in is quick. The girls working were friendly and helpful every time I went to the front desk for something and were quick to greet me as I passed thru during the days I was here. The room was clean and modern. The bed had a nice pillow top mattress and fresh clean linens, great for a good nights rest. Want to watch TV? There is a large flat screen that swivels so you can watch while seated at the desk, or lying in bed. One nice touch is every lamp had at least one outlet. No more searching for an outlet behind a desk, or having the only outlet already being used. I was never left searching for outlets to plug in my phone, laptop, and other essential. A larger size refrigerator and microwave were in the room for those who may be here for longer stays. There is an indoor pool and small exercise room with a treadmill, elliptical, adjustable bench and dumbells. Not much equipment, but enough to hit the basics. Breakfast was your standard continental breakfast with a good selection of cereals, breads, muffins, fruit, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy and more. The coffee is served all day and during the evening throughout the week there is a complimentary managers reception with beer/wine and light dinner. One night was make your own tacos, and another it was chicken Caesar salad. Although the hotel is very nice, it's the staff that set this hotel apart. They are extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend staying here. read more

First they said we would not be billed, then they retracted their statement. I'm a platinum member at most hotel chains, and I will NOT be staying at another Holiday Inn again.
