Delicious! Literally, everything is. You can't go wrong. Ordering via phone is easy, they save your number and name. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The outside is in a plaza. Inside is a welcoming pizza place vibe. Menu wise is a little of everything, pizza, pasta, salads, subs, and soups. They also do catering. My personal favorite is their pasta! Treated to Holiday Pizza lunch twice this past week for different work related events. Been awhile since I ordered from Holiday so I was really looking forward to my lunches. Both luncheons did not disappoint and only had me craving more. Lunch #1 -As always, the chicken pasta salad with ranch & a roll was so good. Greek salad was good too (1st time trying Holidays). The deep dish square pizza with pepperoni cheese, cheese bread (my 1st time trying Holidays) were amazing. Cheese was piled HIGH on pizza and bread. Pepperoni discs were small and crisp---sooooo good! Lunch#2- Round pepperoni and a vegetable pizza. My first time having their round pizzas. Both delicious but I definitely prefer their deep dish square. Chicken pasta salad with roll and ranch was enjoyed again ‼ First time trying their tuna salad and it was very good as well. It's been a while since we've had really good pizza. So I was hoping like heck to find a quality place to get pizza. The restaurant is rather easy to find and has good parking. Even though we can't eat inside there were places to sit. Some day I will go back just so I can sit inside and eat. We ordered a small cheese and pepperoni (old fashioned pepperoni) and holiday sticks with cheese. We also got their Amoghio sauce and ranch dressing. The amount of garlic on the pizza and sticks was heavenly the pizza was cooked to perfection and the sauce was out of this world. The pepperoni grease leaked all over the cheese which added to the wonderfulness. Get the holiday sticks with cheese. You won't be disappointed. Of course Detroit has the best pizza in the world along with maybe Buffalo, and this is one of the best examples of it. It's doughy (like you if you eat too much of it), it's gooey (like my underwear when I first tasted it), it's wet (like Barbie 24 7), it's cheesy (like my jokes), it's rich (like Barbie's clients) because of the tomato sauce, and it's perfection (that's Barbie again) from frostbite to last. Actually that was meant to say first bite, blame voice dictation. Then again if you try and eat your pizza outdoors in Detroit between October and April, frostbite is exactly what you'll end up with. If it were Middle Eastern, it'd be Holiday Pita. If it were served in church, it'd be Holy-day Pizza. If it were a Pokestop, it'd be Holiday Pikachu. If it refused to serve any meat at all, it'd be Holiday PETA. And if it allowed all the residents of Detroit to die from natural disasters and chemical poisoning while pocketing all the profits from the government (aka people of America) giving funds, it'd be Holiday FEMA. Also there's a bunch of cute people that come in here. But that's beside the point. You won't find better Detroit pizza than here at Holiday. You might even feel like you're on Holiday. A few words on Detroit-style Pizza in general. Pizza in Detroit is something very special. As I've said before, a lot of the locals and definitely out-of-towners don't appreciate just how miraculous it is. Thick, doughy pizza bread with delicious hearty homemade tomato sauce and thick layers of cheese, with greasy-ass pepperoni as the throne on the king that is Detroit Pizza. Or king on throne. Whatevs. The city knows how to pizza. It is the only city other than Buffalo that has such a sky-high standard of local pizza like this. Funnily enough the pizza in Detroit - much like that in Buffalo - is best found south of the city. Morons will tell you that there is no South Detroit and that Journey were wrong, but there really is. It's called Downriver. It's technically Southwest of the downtown, but it's South enough. The Pizza of perfection is specifically in Allen Park. I highly recommend BC Pizza (my fave) and Bella and Paul's, as well as the Allen Park location of local chain Primo's. In the West Burbs, Vizzy's is the best of the bunch, and may be the best in the state. But if you're in the North part of Detroit there's one shining star and that is right here. Holiday Pizza. One of the few North Suburb Pizzerias that is on the level of the South ones and Vizzy's in Westland. If it served Indian Chicken, it'd be Holiday Tikka. If it served Pineapple Coconut alcoholic cocktails, it'd be Holiday Pina Colada. If it served Easter Candy, it'd be Holiday Peeps. And if it was old men at my gym, it'd be Holiday Pedo. I know people say NYC has the best pizza, and honestly, 4 of the best 5 slices in the country are probably in NYC. But in terms of overall standard across-the-board, nothing comes close to the standards of Buffalo and Detroit. Bear in mind you may not like this pizza if you are into hipster traditional healthy locally sourced stuff. For that I recommend skipping Detroit and Buffalo completely. Head to Williamsburg and stop hogging Yelp. Now we'll let Green Day finish this review. It's located in a small little mini mall on Van Dyke between 18 and 19 mile rd in Sterling Heights. They have seating for about 40 people but most of there business is carry out. They also deliver which is a big plus. They make just about everything from scratch and they sprinkle love in every dish. The service is top notch and they go the extra mile to make sure every customers experience pleasant. The place smells delicious and they keep it hospital clean which is surprising because there always busy. Check out there deal of the month. We were regular customers getting Holiday every couple months. I know they are pricier than most places but we are willing to pay for quality fresh food, today was a really really bad experience, I got a large 3 topping pizza and a small pepperoni pizza cost $40.55 both had burnt crust and were not cut all the way thru so anytime you tried to get a piece all the cheese would fall off, not sure we will be back since they were willing to give this to us as if nothing was wrong. read more

We've had their pizza and a variety of their subs many times. Every time we've had it it's always been at parties we've attended. This place is popular not only for their delicious food but for events where are you need to feed a lot of people. The party tray pizzas have always been great. They don't skip on the toppings or the cheese and the sauce is really delicious. The party tray pizzas are essentially a Detroit deep dish, with that crunchy/caramelized thick crust- it's so damn good! The pepperoni they use is the delicious, classic old fashioned kind that "cups" as it cooks. Legit Detroit style awesome pizza! Their Italian subs and steak and cheese subs are good too. I liked the Italian the best. It's a great ration of meat/cheese/veggies to bread. It equal amounts of bread and filling which makes for a great bite. I hate when party subs are all bread. This place does Italian party subs right. While the steak and cheese sub was good also, I just felt it lacked in filling ingredients. Maybe their regular subs are filled more than the party subs. I've yet to try the salads but I hear the chicken pasta salad is bomb and I can't wait to try it. Great pizza and subs and I definitely recommend giving them a try. He posted a picture of a pizza that he ordered from this restaurant about a month ago, and it caught my attention because it looked so good! They serve all types of food, such as pastas, chicken wings, submarine sandwiches, soups, and of course pizza! I ordered a pizza half and half, one half pepperoni and hamburger, the other half pepperoni, hamburger, onion and green pepper. My friend enjoyed his half, and I did as well! My friend compared the pizza to pizza from the Green Lantern restaurant?!? I've never had pizza from Green Lantern, but there is a pizza place in Allen Park named Sylvia's Super Subs and Pizza, in which the pizza reminds me of the pizza I've eaten at Sylvia's. The staff was friendly and engaging! my pizza and wings were extremely hot, cheese was stringy which is great but the taste wasn't that wonderful. I ordered the extra large with pepperoni. When I got home and open the box my kids thought I just got a cheese pizza because honestly there was maybe 20 pieces of pepperoni on there on 16 to 18 slice pizza! That was disappointing! Had a chance to go back in time to one of my favorite places, the Holiday Pizza in Sterling Heights. I use to work in the area and my employer at the time, the Michigan State Police, took advantage of this fine establishment for food at our meetings and parties. I hate giving such a poor review but I am beyond frustrated with this place. 4 times I have placed catering orders here over the past several months and 4 times something has been wrong with my order now. Once or twice I can let go but 100% of the time? I continued to give this place a chance because it's so convenient but I have to find somewhere else. When you place an order around $200 I would expect it to be nearly perfect, hoping for return business. The first time I ordered salad and stressed no cheese, as we had a family coming that is allergic to dairy. I got the salads... with cheese. Called and they said "oh sorry". Another time we had 2 pieces of long dark hair baked into the cheese bread and no one at group would eat it so we had to throw it out (I do have photos). We called and were told that no one has long dark hair so it wasn't their fault, news flash, I don't have long dark hair either! Plus, it was BAKED INTO THE CHEESE!!! I could not pull it out. 2 out of the 4 times I ordered double cheese (and paid for it) on the party pizza... there was no extra cheese, the pepperoni pizza had more cheese. The flavored crust was also forgotten twice now. Yesterday was the last straw. Two of the large pizzas I ordered, the crust was so burnt it was BLACK.... no one wanted to eat it and a few people tried but said it was too gross. I have never seen a pizza that burn and not remade, ever. I ended up throwing 1 and 3/4 of the large pizzas away. I also ordered all ranch with the bread, no red sauce and I received 2 red sauces with each bread, no ranch, and my rexeipt clearly says ranch. I am tired of wasting my money here and not having anyone care to correct the mistakes when I call. I love supporting smaller businesses but one can only take so many mistakes.
