We love Peppy's Pizza! I've been going there for over 15yrs and it's still the same quality food, and good service! Peppy's is family owned and you get that when you're there; the staff are friendly and very kind. Their food is reasonably priced and great. Their pizza is solid; they've got great chicken and roasted potatoes; their pastries are fantastic! I haven't tried their desserts yet, but I've heard the Napoleon is amazing! The carry out food was mediocre. We ordered pizza and salad. The pepperoni pizza didn't have the best pepperoni. The salad was iceberg lettuce, a couple cucumber slices, and tomato slices. The service was excellent. The place looked clean. read more

We usually get decent service. But today, a different lady was at the counter. We ordered two pasties with gravy. Only one of them had gravy. Very disappointing because it would be dry without. We also got a Napoleon which was in a container before, but today, she placed it directly on the paper bag. How do you eat it from a paper lunch bag? It was my son's birthday, he requested an eclair which was also placed in a paper bag. Are there no containers? The pasties is what's amazing. But their pastries are either bland or too sweet. Their pasties are their saving grace. The service today was horrible. I had a bad vibe from the woman at the counter like I had somehow made her angry and my son even mentioned her giving me a bad look the entire time after we left. AWFUL! Stopped in for a slice and grabbed a grinder too. The slices are "grandma" style; nothing wrong with that generally, but these were mainly bread and very dry bread at that. Very little sauce, rubbery cheese and light toppings, especially for a "supreme" slice. The steak grinder was just as bad. Dry meat, dry bread (are we sensing a theme here?), and likewise very few additional veggies. I don't get it I guess, but I can't go back for a second chance. Too disappointed! read more

Peppy's has a friendly staff, and excellent sandwiches, pizza, and desserts (specifically the blondies and brownies). I'm pretty positive that no matter what you get here, you will be happy with it! Admittedly I have a pretty narrow focus, but these are the best pasties south of the bridge. (Gotta have that rutabaga). This place is old-school carry out, with a limited menu that includes pizza or pierogis, or pasties. And they have a small but attractive bakery counter. Great vibe in this place!! read more

Peppy's is such a hidden gem! I started going here when I worked not far from their location and got hooked on the grinders....Italian, Philly and TACO!!! Brought home pizza for the family one night and, ever since, this is our go to spot for delicious pizza, grinders, PASTIES (their gravy is TO DOE FOR), chicken and desserts! All of the ladies behind the counter are gems and I give them an A+ on their COVID-19 protocols!!! I found this gem while gassing up next door. Heck I think their business could exist inside the BP parking lot the building is so tiny. I've had the pizza. I've had the grinders. They are darn good for what they are. Price is on spot, and the freshness is not to be forgotten. What I have also had, are the pastie's. Oh nelly! I don't recommend the pizza one as it's a failed calzone. Spinach and feta is great if that's your preference, but not authentic. The beef with rutabaga is where it's at. Peppy's knows how to make a flaky crust, and the entire thing just merrys flavor. Carrot, and potato inside as well. I prefer it with beef gravy on the side (60 cents). One is enough to fill my lunch belly. They are $2.95 each, and weigh in at 1lb. That's unreal! One day we ordered 15 on a lunch run (called 20 mins ahead) for our company, and they were ready and hot. No skimp on quality with the bulk order. Great little local fresh made Pizza, pasties, cookies. For $5 you get a large 1 topping Pizza that blows the doors off of little Caesars $5 hot and ready. Just program their number in your phone and call when you R ready and it will B hot and fresh and ready with your choice of topping. Ones you get their $5 Pizza, you won't go back to Little Caesars. Self-proclaimed "largest carry out menu in the area." That may be true, but does Peppy's have the best food on that menu? Truth be told, you get a little more than what you pay for, only because the prices are extremely cheap. I mean, it's not going to be the best pizza or pasty you have, but you're not paying for it to be the best either. There is a dough overload on the pasty, which gave it too much dryness for The Pasty Guy. It's okay, nothing special. But hey, if you want to go to a place with tons of options that don't cost all that much and taste decent, Peppy's is the place. read more

This place sells an assortment of fried chicken, pizza and sandwiches. The place is is not at all fancy and the service is mostly do it yourself. They will heat up pizza slices for you and they will make sandwiches and fries. While you can see the pizza before it is reheated, other than various pastries, other than just taking a chance, you don't know what many of the offerings look like.
