We live over an hour away (73 miles) and we take the time to drive our baby girl here because they not only genuinely care about our four-legged family member, they treat her that way as well. They absolutely care more about your pet than over-treating with conventional medicine. You will find slightly different approaches based on the doctor you see, however, the general rule of thumb is to not give your pet anything they don't really need in terms of shots and vaccinations. They offer other holistic treatments that they combine with traditional medicine to give your pet the best possible experience. They take the time with each patient to answer all questions, which can very often lead to longer-than-typical wait times, even if you have an appointment for a specific time. While, as busy humans, this can certainly be frustrating from time-to-time, one must just remember that when it's your own turn, you get that same attention and care, without feeling like you're on a production line. It's a small inconvenience, that doesn't always happen. We are more than happy to wait when we go as we know this place has been instrumental in educating us on our dog's health and keeping her healthy. As I write this review she is 10 1/2 and doing fantastic. She has environmental and seasonal allergies that popped up 3 or 4 years ago. IAHC provided sound advice for testing and treatment, and while not every approach we tried worked, we have been able to keep our baby girl healthy even during the tough months. She went from incessantly scratching herself 24x7 and chewing her paws raw and bloody (requiring full time attention to stop), to minor discomfort 2 months of the year. This was due to uncovering food allergies that we have been able to work around, thus greatly reducing the effects of her environmental allergies that were plaguing her. She now eats a carefully controlled diet with ingredients that do not contain any allergens to which she reacts. It's certainly more "work" than it was when she was a pup, but it has made ALL the difference in the world to her life (and ours). I honestly don't know where she (or we) would be without the team at IAHC. They, in essence, have saved and prolonged her life, and we will be forever grateful for the amount of care and love they dispense here. If you are still reading this review, you should absolutely take your family pet here. I have no question of the quality of treatment your pet will receive. Much Love to the IAHC team, Jason, Katie, and Emma (the patient).

She chopped one off so badly that it never grew back properly and now my parakeet has permanent issues with stability and is scarred. She also had the gall to say that it was all normal and nails always bleed on birds when you cut them. Stay away.

After consulting with both our primary veterinarian and an oncologist, we were faced with the difficult reality that advanced cancer treatments were financially out of reach and carried only about a 15% chance of extending her life. Bella was given a prognosis of 1-3 months. Our veterinarian suggested exploring holistic care and referred us to Dr. Haley. From our very first visit, when Dr. Haley came to our home to meet Bella, we felt reassured and supported. She developed a thoughtful treatment plan focused on comfort and well-being, and because of her care, we were blessed with five and a half more months with our girl. Our priority was Bella's quality of life, and that goal was not only met but exceeded. Dr. Haley is professional, kind, punctual, and generous with her knowledge. We will forever be grateful for the compassion and care she showed Bella and our family, and we would recommend her over and over!

Daphne first treated Fiona for her arthritis and hip dysplasia with marked improvement In the next few months Fiona was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma in January 2025 s/p splenectomy. Hemangiosarcoma can virtually be a death sentence. With acupuncture and several supplements, Fiona, has made remarkable strides and not only has her strength improved but it seems the progress of her cancer has slowed. Her spirit is amazing, she plays with our other golden Quinn, gets up and downstairs on her own. Takes a little longer, but she does it! She was actually swimming this summer with no problem. Thank you so much Daphne for your continued care of our beautiful Fiona.
