I feel like the people here actually care about my recovery. Which is a lot more than what I could say about my previous clinic. Becoming a new patient was seamless... I made an appointment and was in and out in less than 1.5 hours. I'm happy to be going here and I hope they got more positive reviews.... I am truly blown away by the amount of negative reviews they have. Maybe something changed recently and it's gotten better? I definitely recommend this place!

They say every 3 months but by the time their end of the paperwork gets completed- sometimes it could be every 5 months. Wish that take homes weren't so easy to lose if you happen to miss their early closing time on Friday or if they are closed for a holiday. Then you're screwed and out of the program. But aside from that I am so grateful I've turned my life around since starting to come here. Lilly is awesome and so is Erma. All of the female nurses are amazing and super kind, sweet and non judgmental. My only complaint is the dude that gives the doses. He is constantly making up reasons to give the patients a hard time. When I hear people making comments in the waiting room like: "OMG THIS GUY!" I realized it's not just me and started to keep my eyes open whenever there were others being serviced by him. He really isn't a good fit for this job. Not to mention he is THE ONLY SLOW ONE. I think he does that on purpose because what are the chances the ONE employee there who gives us a hard time is the only one constantly clicking things on the computer for 5 minutes in between patients-while NOBODY ELSE in his position does. ?? Only other thing I'd add is that they should let pregnant women taper down super slow. Even 1 drop per 2 weeks would still give the baby a better birth.

The last time I went in for my bi-annual check up, The doctor asked if I struggled with anxiety. I told her yes but said I was being treated for it elsewhere. She then told me, an addict in recovery, that she could help me get benzodiazepines if I wanted them. I would just have to pay for the office visit and prescription itself. I still can't believe a legit doctor that had knowledge of my past would offer me benzodiazepines. I'm not sure how someone like that sleeps at night. Just switched to the Comprehensive Treatment Center on Boulder HWY instead. No co pay whatsoever, and best of all: no doctors praying on your weaknesses. If you're thinking about going here, run.

From check-in with Rainy who was incredibly nice ,Medical Assistants Krystal and Natosha are AMAZING, to the 2 gentleman Curtis and Kelly at checkout are just plain AWESOME! Practice manager Jamie was AMAZING!!... helped me understand more on the process of referrals, medical advice, etc (been a while since ive been to a dr) Dr. Wolfson VERY helpful and caring, alot of positive energy all around!! After my last encounter, where I was discriminated against and disrespected, and ultimately turned down... as far as becoming a patient...I took the time to write a review. I was told that I would not be admitted that day, thursday, because I looked tired. Some excuse doc, I mean it has to be the most thorough and sensible one I have ever heard. This was after the doctor was very rude to me and asked me some very intimate questions, that I had already been asked by some random staff member. However, after calling and speaking to staff members who then talked to the doctor, I was relayed the message that I could come back another day to be admitted as a patient. I was told to come back on Friday at 7 a.m. and not to be hostile. I resent that for the fact that I was not hostile, I was very polite and quiet, as I always am. I planned my entire Friday morning around going back to this clinic, and the doctor did not show up! I was told by a different staff member, that he does not do intake on this day. So why was I told to come back...to me this is not a joke!? I feel that I am being played a fool and heard the woman at the front desk and the security gaurd laugh at me as I left. They told me to come back on Monday. today is Monday and once again I planned my entire schedule around going to this Clinic. OBVIOUSLY TREATMENT IS MY PRIORITY AND I really do need the help. I just made a phone call to find out if the doctor had arrived, or when he would be coming in, and I was told some more horribly degrading news. The Adelson clinic staff members all had a staff meeting this weekend. Apparently, the staff meeting revolved around me, and they all were asked the same question..whether or not I should be admitted into this Clinic? The woman who answered the phone told me that everyone took a vote and that they all felt that I would be better off somewhere else. I don't understand what could have changed from Friday to Monday when they did not see me or speak to me. When I tryed to ask questions I was hung up on. I called back three or four times and was repeatedly hung up on and patronized. It all comes down to the fact that they read my Yelp review, as one of them pointed out to me before slamming the phone down on me! For obvious reasons, they found it unfavorable, and decided to use their power against me. The fact is that this is the only Clinic that is close to me and takes my insurance, which I let them know. I'm trying to figure out why I have been singled out and then talked about in a staff meeting. This confirms my feelings of being laughed at on Friday to be true. Also it reiterates the fact that the woman from Mission Treatment, who treated me horribly in the past and now works at Adelson Clinic, had something to do with my non admittance into the clinic. All in all I give them a negative star. This is absolutely the worst Clinic and I'm letting everybody know this so they do not have to go through the same horrible experience that I have. How are they going to talk to me about my behavior, and then repeatedly hang up on me and make rude comments? They are not a professional business and I want to add that they are not a clean business. There was blood in the bathroom, smeared on the floor and the toilet. even after I let them know about it, they still did not clean it up. I also feel that one of the staff members came onto me in a very sexual and inappropriate way. I'm going to the Better Business Bureau. When somebody is an addict and they seek help they should never be turned away. This is such a serious and life-threatening disease, which has taken the lives of many people I know, including two very close friends. I've seen about 4 different doctors/physicians assistants during that time period. Even when I didn't like one of the PAs (and I mean I did not like her, she was rude to me about my weight all the time, assuming what I eat and don't eat, while she was fat herself, and had gross long acrylic nails that I swear popped out of the gloves once and she tried to hide it), I still came into this office. I don't always have an issue with appointments. Actually, the last appointment I had was the only one where I actually had a problem and got mad. My PA left the clinic so they rescheduled me with a different doctor but at 10am instead of 8am. I couldn't make that because of work and pressed cancel on the automated line. I realize this was a mistake and call back immediately and speak to someone who tells me that she made sure the appt wasn't cancelled and pushed it to 245pm for me. I walk in at 230, no appointment. Luckily, the sweet person in the front fit me in to see Dr. Torres. I haven't seen a male doctor since I had a traumatic experience as a child and she made me feel much better about it. I've never noticed any weird billing or any shady stuff in the almost 2 decades I've been coming here. If this last time was my only "problem" then I feel really lucky to have this place.
