However, be warned, if you are looking for a quiet, spa-like experience this will not be it. Vanessa is extremely friendly and chatty so she will talk to you throughout the session. She customizes her facials based on every client and uses essential oils to help you relax. The room the facials are done in isnt the most relaxing space and is quite bright, but she has everything she needs to perform a great facial so I can look past that. I bought a Groupon for 4 60 minute facials and have loved how my skin felt after my first two sessions. She has over 30 years of experience and it shows. She has given me great advice to up my skin game. I do prefer a more relaxing facial typically, but Vanessa is always so friendly and chipper that I don't mind talking to her. Definitely not your typical facial - but sometimes that's okay! Definitely give her a chance if you're not the type to lay in silence while the esthetician works on you.

Vanessa's greatest talent seems to be skin care. Unfortunately, that's not really my thing. I am guessing if you want a facial she'd be a good person to go to. I went for a body scrub plus massage. It was fine. The body scrub part was good but the massage was meh. She described it as helping you relax as to getting out any knots or helping with body therapy. So maybe some folks would like this but it really wasn't my thing. Vanessa herself is delightful. She is cheery and friendly (perhaps a bit too chatty if you are just trying to relax). I find that skin people tend to be more chatty than massage therapists though -- makes it feel a little like they are trying to sell you on their products and services. I probably won't be back but if you are into facials, give her a try. After your first visit, I think she gives you a break on the prices compared to what is listed on her website. Random note - it would be good to have a hook or something to hang your clothes.

It's a smaller day spa, with a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The waiting room is nice and bright, everyone is friendly, and Monica is definitely a professional who knows her trade. I first knew I liked her when they offered the bed warmer, and was sold when she spoke science to me. LOL! She really takes her time to get to know you, your skin, and your concerns. She educates you about what could be causing it, what the underlying issues might be, and how she can help and how you can help maintain the results and care for your skin at home. Before proceeding with the Silk Peel, she took care to explain how it worked on a superficial level AND molecularly, and brushed my arm with the device so I knew what to expect to feel before she began work on my face. I could see results IMMEDIATELY after, in both texture and firmness/hydration of my skin. The days following, I could see some acne wanting to erupt (which she warned me about) but I listened to her about not picking at anything and just let it do its thing.
