It has been about 2.5 weeks and our experience has been amazing. Within a couple of hours Will and his team were here and started the mitigation process. They communicate incredibly well. Will is always asking if we have any questions and if he can explain what and why they are doing things. The mitigation team, the packing team, the demolition team always call 30-45 minutes before they show up at the house. They are very polite and respectful. I have not encountered anyone who made me feel like I was not the owner of the house. Communication was over the top and Will always wants me to understand the what and why and what to expect in the future. I especially want to name Will (project manager), Michael (packing and moving team), and Cody who is the head of all these teams. I highly recommend this company! I can only go by our experience with a devastating event. Cody is excellent with dealing with the insurance side of things!

We had a terrible experience with Restoration 1. They were recommended by a local plumber (who gets…read morea hefty referral fee). The demolition went fine for a water leak, but the restoration took 6 months rather than 2 to 3. Communication was awful -- the first project manager ghosted us for weeks, and no one at the company even knew he had disappeared. The new PM took another month to "get up to speed" on the project. We didn't get notice when workers would be arriving or what to expect for scheduling in general. There was no foresight about the scope of the project. We were encouraged to order flooring materials that ended up being impossible to use and then were charged a large fee to return them. Then they tore up flooring they were supposed to leave in place, causing another delay. It was a huge relief to finally finish and not to have to deal with their team anymore.

We recently had our bathrooms, laundry room, and kitchen renovated by Development Contracting with…read moresubcontractors who worked with them. The experience was all positive, and the work was second to none. We initially had a leak in the water heater which caused water damage in the bathroom located on the ground floor entrance. Joe and Serge came to the house and wrote up a proposal for the insurance company which was approved almost immediately. They replaced and painted the drywall, installed flooring in the bathroom and replaced the toilet. The job they did was so good that we decided to have them do the upstairs bathrooms, and the laundry room in the hallway with new flooring and toilets. The kitchen was the next project which we had them do with new quartz countertops. They sent 360 countertops to measure everything and fabricate the materials we had bought previously. The work was done in three days. The floors were done after that, and everything exceeded our expectations. I cannot say enough to express how happy we are with the finished product. I would highly recommend these guys for any home improvement projects, and I will reach out to them in the future for any additional work we need. We called USA Water Restoration and Elijah's team took over. They were there starting to dry out the "dirty water" and put everything in motion to get our insurance involved. New Leaf completed a thorough inspection (they were actually sent by the seller), provided a fair bid, and were gracious enough to offer a payment plan. When they came to do the work over the course of three days, they were hard working and cleaned up after themselves. One of my favorite things, though, was overhearing someone telling the group these encouraging things like "diamonds are made from pressure!" Just thought that a company that supported their people was a company everyone should support. Our HVAC contractor was also super impressed with them! Would 1000% hire again.
