Self care is important and I realize that I don't give my face the love it deserves. So I decided I would get the hour facial. Oh-my-Geeee! This turned out to be more than just a facial. This was a pampering I so needed. Let me start off by saying Sonja is a pleasure to work with. We went into a small room where she told me to take my top and bra off and get under the towel on the table face up. I kept thinking, she knows I'm here for a facial, right? So she tells me what her procedure is and gets started. The room is dim, there is music playing and she is steaming and cleaning my face. She exfoliates my face, and then she dips my hands in paraffin wax and gives me a massage and im like . . . Yeeeeees, this is what's up! She didn't try to sell me a bunch of products and make me feel like I was in need of things at home that I more than likely wouldn't use. So let me talk about the con that I could have fixed - the door I think was cracked and I could hear everything that was talking place outside and at times their music was louder than the music in my room. With that said, I have purchased this facial for my cousin who is a healthcare worker as a gift for nurses day. (So you know it can't be bad if I'm gifting it to someone). One hour facial that was 50 minutes of her texting while I had a hot towel on my face. She didn't do anything that the site said was included, no steam, extraction, no exfoliating, no massage. She never even touched the sides of my nose because her two inch nails made it impossible to do the job. Booked an appointment with Karisma for 6pm (paid $20 deposit). She was apparently was 1 hour late but she failed to let any of her clients know. I had to ASK MYSELF ( after waiting 10 min) what the status was. She had had an attitude and did not try to rectify the situation. Mind you she was running and hour plus behind and did not even acknowledge us at her place of business. I would never recommend her for on anyone. She's rude and unprofessional. read more
