Don't be fooled by the high end cars and fancy decor. They have mediocre techs that simply do shoddy work. They get cars in and out quickly. Had some repairs done on our Audi and asked they refinish the rear bumper as they had the paint mixed. Obviously paint drips in plain sight. Like a kid with a spray paint can. read more

On customers who ether don't care (as most of the time work is covered by insurance) or have no idea about real numbers in this business. I was hit while at a light and had rear damage to my car. I went to Hollis and was impressed by their professionalism and how truly helpful they were. The ladies at the front desk offered help & suggestions for my insurance issues. When i decided to have the work done here - they told me it might be a month before my car was ready but it would be perfect and look like a new car when complete. I just wanted my car back - I love driving it and had to deal with a rental in the meantime. Two weeks later, they call and my car is ready & perfect. Ronny was amazing!! He took care of everything! He had my key out as soon as I walked in the door. Despite the response from Hollis Auto Body, I continue to recommend AVOIDING this establishment. I ended up taking my Tesla to another "approved" body shop in Rhode Island called "Curreri Collision Center" Definitely worth the trip. These guys did the same exact repairs Hollis Auto Body quoted me $8,000+ for - but for only $2,300.00. My car looks perfect. The even re-painted my hood because they noticed that there were some "burn" swirls from a previous detailing job. The car looks amazing. And they saved me from getting ripped off by Hollis Auto Body by about $5,000 dollars. If you have a Tesla and you need body work you should go to Curreri Collision. Hollis can reply to this post and make whatever claims they want - but I can show you their estimate for my car and the bill from Curreri AND the before and after photos of my car. Hollis Auto Body cannot justify how they could possibly charge me $8,000 for these repairs - whatever they are saying just BS. Go to Curreri. You'll save a lot of money and be extremely satisfied. read more

I went to Hollis because of all the positive things I've heard about this place. Unfortunately, it was not as good as I expected. All that was needed was to bang out a couple of door dings and paint. The paint job could have been better. There was a popped paint bubble in the paint job and a large abrasion on the passenger's seat. I had to point out the bubble to them and they did not/would not accept responsibility for the abrasion on the seat. Buyer beware... They did good work on my husband's car but were horrible about communication. I brought my car in for repair after being rear ended. I was promised a rental car would be waiting for me which it wasn't. After two days I called for an update and was told that they hadn't had my car for that long and to call back in a week. Every time I called I was given an unclear response and told to call back in a week. I finally got them to explain the extent of damage which was minimal. I still don't have my car back and was told I wouldn't for another week. Over two weeks to repair minor bumper damage is ridiculous! read more

Well, maybe others have had some luck with them, but my customer service experience would have been better going to Macco. Had the car for over a month - Frank, the owner, isn't the best communicator and Business adviser. I had to call every couple days just to find out they were not finished with repairs, even getting into a verbal fight with him because he went against what the insurance company advised he do. I later ran out of rental coverage and had to drive their baby blue ford focus rental around for 2 weeks. Either way, I finally go to get my car after so many weeks without it...the car looks pretty good and they did their work, but I later find a huge gouge on my tonneau cover (it's a cabriolet) which they flat out tell me is not their problem - mind you, they sent the top out to get replaced with some hole-in-the-wall top repair company - so yes, I am annoyed. I am not sure how they get Audi recommended/approved with attitudes like these. I feel awful for Tesla customers who have no other place to go to repair their aluminum toys. Honestly, if Hollis was that wonderful wouldn't their reviews be off the charts? I see more reviews for hair salons than I do this place so maybe it was my fault for trusting blogs and other auto body review sites. Words of advise to them, get a Manager who can deal with hundreds of cars coming in and out of that place all day and make sure they are taken care of fully and without damages. Imagine if this was a $100,000 Aston Martin - would they brush me off like this? I am thinking so. I so badly wanted them to be superstars (the office girls are very nice and I give them 5 stars just for dealing with the chaos) because I began recommending people to them and even had someone on their schedule to do work for, but that was a fleeting option for me and I am again on the hunt for a body shop that can exceed expectations.
