Got very lucky today, my horn went out in my 24 Kia Sportage, which is a very good car, and the Norwood dealership is booking a week out, so I sent a note to these guys and then came in on a Monday morning, always busy I'm sure, and they were nice and also were able to fit me in, finishing up my car by 2:30 PM, with a smile! They were all wonderful to work with, friendly, knowledgable. The process of trading in my previous Kia and leading a new vehicle was extremely efficient + the team was kind enough to lend me a rental car for the few days in between knowing my older car was no longer operational. I bought a certified car from this dealership a few years ago and had a good experience. I brought it in for service with a leaking windshield wiper fluid tank they claimed wasn't leaking shortly after I bought it. They said it wasn't an issue and it got worse after I left. They fixed it for no charge. I avoid them after this, but had even worse experience with another Kia dealer. I returned to fix an issue that only a dealership could take care of. It took two weeks to get an appointment, another two weeks to get the part and the they wanted to schedule me 3 weeks out to install it. I insisted they fix it before this, and they complied. On top of this, the final bill was higher than I was originally told (this might be due to a misunderstanding, but was not communicated effectively). I didn't fight it and was just glad I was done with them and the issue was fixed. I won't be returning and will not purchase any more vehicles from them. I'm not sure if they were busier than usual for April or they were understaffed. read more

Another great service visit with Lev, did the brake line replacement as a free recall on my 2017 Soul, changed over to my snow tires, did the engine filter and replaced some cable or other connected to the transmission while they were at it so I won't break down in the middle of the night during a blizzard. I purchased a 2023 Kia Sorento back in December 2023 from LIV. Ken our sales associate was a multitasker which I can relate to because I am always doing the same. Wind forward to March 28, I had a scheduled oil change and went in at my appt time and was out BEFORE and hour..this was NEVER done in 50 years of me dealing with service centers. GREAT JOB to the entire service team. Thank You Warren for leading the team to this result. On Friday March 29 my check engine light went on, yup a day after my oil change, stopped by my local mechanic, Jacob, he did the engine check and determined my #1 cylinder was misfiring. I called Liv Kia service Warren had me come in April 1. Yup April fools day. When I went in they checked out the spark plug to the #1 cylinder and changed the Spark plug and again in record time. Actually had a pretty good service experience here. I scheduled online and pulled right in on time and was met by a service manager. Told me the cost up front and how long the wait would be. Waited for my car in the waiting area. They have a room with a tv and also a quiet room. I really appreciated having the quiet room to get some work done in and not be next to a loud tv. They finished the work in less time than they said and I was in my way. Only gripe is that the cost for my standard service seemed very high. They didn't try to up sell me anything and they trip was painless so it was worth the extra cost. Also they don't accept Amex which was annoying. read more

I needed a bracket for the front of my car to install a license plate and they ordered the part and was in stock in two days. Part was pretty cheap but they had to do small drilling to get it on and it was quick and efficient. Thank you Danny for ordering my part so fast and getting me out ASAP on a busy Friday. The sales and finance team are tremendous and provide superior customer service. On the service side, I don't know what happened. Don't care about giving a decent customer? First, on the website, service schedule; if you are not going to follow up, then don't bother to put it there. I tried the schedule function three or four times, but not one reply as the app told customers to fill out the form and would be contacted by the service dept for their appointment schedule. I called the phone # on the website, and whoever answered the phone must have had a bad day, mumbling, rude, and replying with less then 3 words when I asked a question. Note: Today is 6/13/2024 Q: Hi, I would like to schedule an appointment for my first 5000 miles oil change service. A: July 30 Q: wow, for oil change have to wait for a whole month? A: yeh. Q: How long does it take for first 5000 miles oil change? A: an hour. Q: Any earlier schedule available? A: No that's it. Q: if there is any cancellation, can you move me up! A: you can call back (wow, that is a four words response.) I was pausing a little to think an hour work for oil change, TV commercial Jiffy lube can do in 15 minutes. Before i can say anything. A: you want it. Q: That is a whole month of waiting, nothing easier? A whole month wait for an hour? A: that's it. I have to control myself, and said i will call other Kia Dealer. I wanted to schedule service for my Kia sorento at Lev Kia in Framingham (oil change, rotate tires, Feb inspection sticker. I went on line to the web site yesterday and put in my request for the next week. Received no response or confirmation. Put in a second request today on line, and a third request a few hours later No reponse or confirmation. Finally called the service department to schedule the appointment. The service person had no record of my on line requests earlier. But I learned that they are booked until a month later and that I would receive a confirmation email sometime from their automated system. I told the service person that their service request service is unacceptable and totally frustrating to customers and that I'm questioning my Kia purchase. The car is good, customer service is terrible! I just bought a car for my Wife, and the customer service was not good, it was my wife's first car, a 2024 brand new, and the salesman and the financial manager treated like we were purchasing our groceries, we got there excited but they were a true vibe killer. They held us up for 3hr and a half until the purchase was complete, didn't even offered water. We made an appointment to pick up the car and the paperwork wasn't even ready, had to wait for them to make everything on the spot. The sales rep didn't even went outside to hand me the keys and congratulate us, just shook his head and said you're all set, I was truly expecting that formal key holding picture with a red bow on the car since it is a early Christmas gift for my wife, but didn't happen. I brought my vehicle in for a couple of recalls. I was scheduled for 7:45 but Warren had me all checked in by 7:30. He explained what the recalls were for and what the timeline could be for completion. He was gracious enough to provide me with a vehicle so that I could go and do an errand. When I returned I waited about 15 minutes and my car was ready, a half hour ahead of time and all vacuumed. Couldn't ask for better service. read more

What a frustrating experience. I secured a car on a Friday with a salesperson by giving him information to put through my deposit. He told me I'd receive a Purchase & sales agreement later that day. When I received nothing, I called the dealership the next day and the General Manager told me they had "no record of my deal." He told me that the salesperson went home sick that day and called out the day I was calling. I asked him to then cancel the deal and the General Manager, Jeff, told me I "Lacked compassion" and hung up on me. I get that people get sick but this was the last they had of this car. The Salesperson should have passed this off to someone else. Instead, I had never secured the car when they told me I had. Further, I knew the sales person was sick, I heard him coughing, and I was feeling uneasy about the test drive. He had no problem exposing his illness to my 14 day old newborn. Came here after getting terrible service at Dan O'Brien Kia Norwood. Norwood: Took 5 hours to buy the car (after arranging exact price, VIN, and making an appointment by phone beforehand!) and then they wrecked it in a parking lot accident before handover to us So... I needed to buy a new car. For the second time in a week. When I first contacted Lev Kia of Framingham, I was a little apprehensive. Like "ugh, here we go again." The salesperson, Ken Russian, was great though! I think our phone call lasted all of 5 minutes, but in that time we agreed on a price (better than the deal I got in Norwood!) he let me know about all the dealership fees upfront, I had the exact totals with all taxes and fees, and we made an appointment to do the paperwork. Before our meeting Ken took the car out, inspected it, and had it waiting for us up front. Note: I know this seems like a small thing, but our experience at the terrible dealership in Norwood was "Uh... do we have that car?" ("The car we made an appointment to buy on the phone? Yes you do. Here's the VIN") the battery was depleted, and the check engine light was on for the test drive :-p It was so great to see a car with the plastic removed, the tank filled, and keys ready to go! Signing all the paperwork WITH financing took about an hour (plus an extra 20 minutes while they processed paperwork, but we were able to wait in our car). COVID precautions were excellent. There were very few people in the dealership -- even on a Saturday. Everyone was wearing masks. They even had a "socially distanced table" in the corner for us to do paperwork. We picked up the car two days later, everything was perfect, handover was fast, and we absolutely love our new car! read more

I went there yesterday to get recall service on engine oil pressure sensor. The service shop did not fix it after a visual inspection. The person told me pay $129 if I wanted a detailed diagnosis, which I refused. I was losing engine oil about a pint a week. Once, I saw no oil on my dipstick. Yet, the dashboard showed no sign of low oil pressure. Thus, I think the shop had to caught the problem right away. Also, there was a recall on the item and the part was likely to go wrong even if it might have an intermittent problem now. Thus, the part had to be replaced. I saw other people the same problem and they say the part was only $20 or lower. The shop asked me leave my car with it all day long from 8am although it returned my car in an hour yesterday. I cannot think anything else than the shop fooled me. Who knows what a costly problem it was going to find it I got into the deal by paying $129. read more

Service center review: I have not purchased a vehicle from them or dealt with sales at all. Lev Kia has hands down the best service I've received by a dealership. Having had vehicles with recalls/issues before I've had dealerships push to do unnecessary repairs or try to avoid fixing things under warranty. Lev Kia has never given me a single speck of trouble. Having a Kia I expect minor issues especially electrical, given it is basically an economy car with luxury car features. They always honor warranty, even on more expensive repairs like the AC compressor. Their basic maintenance packages are reasonably priced without much inflation as most expect from dealerships. Staff is always attentive and polite and listens to your concerns if you have any. Good people, good service. I've had better luck with Lev Kia service than I've had with other brands such as Ford, Honda, Mitsubishi, or Mercedes. read more

I started car shopping in July. I visited another dealer who was trying to sell me a telluride in a color I did not want. And was asking over $5,000 over the MSRP. I had to walk away. I called dealers from all over Massachusetts, NH, to Ohio looking for the Telluride I wanted and for a reasonable price without the ridiculous markups. I was very persistent but I was slowly losing hope until a friend of mines referred me to cars.com. I created a profile and filtered the search criteria for what I was looking for and hit search. And I came across a small inventory of nearby dealers. I called a few and did not have any luck until I spoke to Ken. I decided the vehicle I had is great and perfectly fine so that'll be the end of it. Nope, got a call from Ken like 2 days later...we have exactly what you want. Back and forth with emails and proposals on a new vehicle and ping pong with Ken and Jeff. (Pretty sure they are both working from home). I get the low ball numbers on a trade in, but when I purchased it there last year and said I'd be back I meant it. I was also told the vehicle I purchased would hold great value. I was recently involved in an auto accident with substantial damage to the vehicle frontend, I called around to several shops to begin the repair process and was told they could not get to even evaluate the damage for several weeks. I purchased the vehicle from Wellsley Toyota and was very happy with the service so I thought I would give them a call. They are affiliated with Lev Kia and recommended their body shop. I called and spoke to the Manager "Mark" who explained their process, when he would be able to start work and potential parts supply issues. Throughout the process, Mark kept me informed about the current status and was right on schedule with the projected timeline. He assured me the car would be restored to the highest standards, quality Toyota parts and comply with all safety requirements. He delivered on all assurances and more.....the vehicle was detailed before pickup and was sparkling like a brand new vehicle. Most of the sales managers are perfectly pleasant and fine. It's the service department and their director that have brought upon this one star review. My 2017 KIA sportage had a bit of a freak accident. After only having it for one year, my car suddenly stopped running, smelled like it was burning, started to shake, the speedometer was moving rapidly up and down, the engine light came on, and was going in reverse when I had it in drive. After bringing it in via tow truck on a Saturday, I get a call Monday by someone in service telling me that everything is running fine, and that I "can take it back and call them if it happens again".... As if I wanted to take my car back when it wasn't functioning 2 days prior. I had them keep it for a few more days. Luckily, they did come up with some ideas of what could have happened, but they never did end up replicating the problem. My problem is now with the attitude we got from the service director and his staff. Unpleasant, rude, and no empathy. They pressured me to take the car back sooner than I would have liked. I am now driving the car again and yet no one is for certain that the same extremely dangerous problem won't reappear. Not only that, but they did not correctly document my invoice. The day I came in with my car, they wrote down notes as I was explaining, in detail, what was happening. When I took a look at the invoice a couple weeks later, some important details were completely missing, and they refuse to make any edits to properly document it. Uncooperative, and extremely bad customer service and care. Unfortunately I will be seeking out services at another KIA, even though I'm only 15 minutes away from this one. read more

I recently purchased a new 2019 Kia Niro from Lev Kia. I liked the salesman (Tony) and overall I do really love the car, BUT, it was delivered with out-of-date navigation software and maps. From Kia's own website: "To get the best experience out of your navigation system, it's important to regularly update your map. Roads and points of interest across North America, change about 15% every year." If I've done the math correctly, the current version of the maps includes around 30,000 Km of new roads and about 200,000 new points of interest (like restaurants and gas stations) compared to the version in my car. It also includes improvements to both CarPlay and Android Auto for using the display with your phone. I purchased a brand new car with the Premium package and a 10 year extended warrantee, yet it was delivered with old mapping software. When I pointed this out to the service manager he seemed more concerned with who would pay for the update than properly setting up a new vehicle. I raised the issue again when they were performing other initial delivery service without result. For the price they charge for a map update I could purchase a new GPS with lifetime map updates. This is crazy and there's just no excusing this. read more

However, we did order a towing package and while the car didn't come with one, we were given an IOU and told we would have one installed asap. they assured us they would contact us. I'll admit upfront that I - like most people - dread buying a car. The negotiating, the secret backroom meetings with managers, numbers scribbled on papers. It's awful feeling as if the sole purpose of the salesperson is to screw you over. That's why my experience at Lev Kia was so refreshing. There are a few things you should know: 1. Their employees have been there a long time. I bought a used Jeep from Lev before it began selling Kias and nearly all the staff i dealt with more than 3 years ago was the same. It shows they treat their employees right and that extends to customers as well. The sales person i first met even proactively found the rep who sold me my jeep as I was his customer. He didn't attempt to poach. Nice teamwork. 2. There were no backroom meetings. The managers sit on the showroom floor and are accessible to all. If you have a question you can ask. If they run numbers on a vehicle you can be there as they do it. It eliminates the sense that they are trying to get one over on you. 3. They were upfront about my trade in. They reviewed my car, drove it, and gave me a price for it. They didn't make me wait until I was done negotiating a price for my new car and then spring a lowball offer on me. I knew right away what they would give me and could go into the negotiations with full information. 4. They were incredibly helpful and thoughtful. My sales rep, Phil was helping another customer when I arrived and he was available intermittently but I told them I would come back later when he was free. When I returned he apologized for being busy (not his fault) then he gave me keys to the car I wanted to test drive and told me he would run all the numbers while i was away so when I returned we could discuss a deal. When I returned all the paperwork was in order. 5. They were flexible. Despite agreeing on a vehicle I decided I wanted to make a change the next day (a few days before I was going to pick up the new car) they were accommodating to the extreme. Phil even came in on his day off to locate the vehicle I wanted and we negotiated on a final price via e-mail. Overall, there staff is knowledge. They treated me fairly. They gave me a good price on the vehicle lease right from the get go. They informed me of the various incentives without me having to ask. Overall, it was really a good experience. This is the second car I bought from this dealer and I'm sure it won't be the last. Could i have gotten a better deal if I had been a more ardent negotiator? Perhaps but it would have been minimal because they were very aggressive on price right from the start. I liked that. So, if you want to be treated respectfully, to not play games and have sales people whisper silly comments like "I'm on your side - don't tell my boss", and get a good price this is the place to go. My car deal was done in less than an hour and I feel like I got a great deal. read more
