While one might associate the men and women who do towing of vehicles in a negative light, let me dispose you of that notion. The muffler fell out of my car earlier this week. Talk about inconvenient. It was laying on the ground but after it cooled, I was able to wrestle it off. Without the muffler, my Saturn sounded like a B52 and therefore undrivable. I immediately called AAA and was promised a tow within 30 minutes. In less time than that, up comes a clean car carrier from Henry's Towing and Mark, the driver. Clean, neat, courteous and polite. He drove my car onto his flatbed and off we went. I drove with Mark in his truck cab. What? No trash? No coffee cups? No, just like you'd keep your home. It was just a tow but done with no pressure and complete efficiency. Mark and I shook hands at the end. Losing your car temporarily is always a chore but if it has to be loaded to a repair shop, Mark and Henry's Towing is a good first bet. read more

It would be a zero or even negative if Yelp let you do that. I was treated horribly by the drivers and staff of Henry's Towing Service this morning. My car was towed for street sweeping; this was my fault, and I can accept that. When I went to retrieve it, I made some complaints about the driver's behavior and was completely brushed off. I continued to voice my complaints and at that point the younger man working made a literal death threat. (The older man was fine, albeit dismissive of the problem) I don't want to hear anything about 'boys being boys' or any of that type of nonsense. You do NOT make threats to anyone, no matter how frustrating you find them. I filed a police report but likely it will be ignored as all these type of interactions are. I feel very unsafe now because this person literally knows where I live. I am posting this as a warning to anyone who has to deal with them. I would welcome contact from the owner of the company, if any other employee attempts to contact me, I will call the police. read more

I can't believe that this company is charging tolls from Framingham to Boston which they can avoid tolls and there is no traffic around 11am. First they guy came try to tow my car and told me is Ten dollars for tolls and start asking personal questions like where am I from. This is ripcoff for seniors since they are getting pay by AAA and they increase prices all the time. since my post was a few years ago, I am just posting this consumer warning for other people who may have experienced the same issue I did. When my daughter's car was towed there, they tried to charge me two days of storage when the car was there less than 24 hours. When I called the towing company, they told me as soon "as the clock strikes midnight, you get charged an extra day". Well, the last time I checked, there are still only 24 hours in a day. I wrote them a letter asking them to refund me the extra day of storage that they added on, and they ignored my letter and requests. When I called and wrote to the Attorney General, that's when Henry's towing responded and they had to mail me a check for the difference which was the unnecessary charge for an extra day. I just warn other people to please check their receipts and to be sure that Henry's isn't charging you excessive storage fees. But if they are, reach out to the AG's Office and they will definitely take action because they are there to help the consumer. Henry's towing was caught doing something wrong, and that's the only reason why they refunded me the money. They didn't refund me the money when I asked as the consumer, but when I asked through the Attorney General's office, that's when my money was refunded by Henry's Towing . I'm not sure about you, but I work hard for my money and I won't pay any excessive unnecessary fees with my hard earned money. This place is terrible and this post is the truth. read more

Since I saw my car trough the fence I started saying that they scratched and the guys said they didn't do and are denying give me insurance information!!! Nathan, my assigned mechanic, showed up so fast I couldn't believe it. He was neat, clean, and certainly knew his job. It was very cold and windy outside (25F without the wind) and I offered him a reprieve to sit inside for a minute to warm up, at least his fingers, but he said "no, I need to keep going". DRIVER IS THE GUY IN THE SECOND LEFT, this is the first time I feel like my life is threatened and had to call 911. Such an unforgettable experience. Towed my bfs car, we came and paid for picking up, the guy came with attitude like he just lost a million dollars in a casinos and stinky mouth just. When we gave him the money, eleven 20dollar bills and 21 one dollars bills, the guy threw out the money, saying we wanna trick him with ALL ones, and ask us to pick up these money and fk off. My bf end up calling the police bcz the guy lose control and was going to hurt us. He was in fighting posture. This is the first time I held still my pepper spray and pocket knife because I feel unsafe and seriously threatened. The rude driver even asked "what you gonna do, little girl?" the guy who act like the god, I just want to let you know, if you dare to treat us JUST bcz you feel like you are stronger, or just bcz I didn't let you shit on me like others, or if you think we are easy to deal with bcz we are Asian - listen, you can just continuously try. You can treat all your customers like these, but we won't be nice if you are rude first. There are always tough and meaner people out there. I thought you wanted to take us down with your fist, but you act like a picking up our money by yourself when the police arrive. Amazing transitions. I had my car towed this morning and it was as wonderful an experience as you can have when your car needs towing. The truck came promptly,, the driver was friendly and knowledgeable, and I really appreciated seeing a flat bed truck instead of the kind that just lifts the front wheels up and keeps the back wwheels on the road. I've had Henry's come for roadside assistance a few times over the years - for jumping my battery, fixing a flat tire, and replacing my battery - and every person I've dealt with has been professional and friendly. The customer service and business practices here are disgusting. My car was taken from my apartment complex overnight from a spot with no signage that it was no parking allowed. I woke up at 6:30 AM to my car missing , I couldn't get to work and thought it was stolen. The community security told me to check with the towing company because they have a contract with the complex to tow cars there. He then told me the towing company works on commission and the drivers brag about the amount of cars they tow each night. I wasn't able to get my car till 8 AM and couldn't talk to anyone till 7 AM so stayed in panic thinking my car was stolen. When I was finally able to get my car the man in the office showed me a picture of my car they took claiming it was parked illegally, and when I asked him for the photo for my own records he refused to send it to me or give me access. He was completely rude and insensitive. If I could give this business negative stars I would. This review was first left on google where the owner then responded insulting me. My Mom had the misfortune of needing to call AAA twice in one week recently--once for a dead battery and another time for a flat tire. On both occasions, AAA contacted Henry's Towing and their staff responded right away and came to Mom's location within 10-15 minutes--not the customary 45 min wait. They had to have left their location in downtown Framingham immediately to have responded so quickly. The guys were super nice, she said. I spoke to one fellow named Gabe, directly, and he was extremely personable and helpful. I can't tell you the peace of mind it gave me to know that these kind men from Henry's Towing responded to these roadside assistance calls for my elderly Mom. Thank you all SO much. Last night 09/18/21) I spoke to "Barry" who said he is the owner. I had a scheduled AAA call out to try to start my car. After getting tracker details that the truck was nearby and soon to be here, no truck showed up after nearly 1 hour from the last message. I noticed that there had been a message left in my phone by "Barry" who said that he was a driver short snd that they couldn't come out last night snd could I wait till today. I initially agreed, but when I asked why he or AAA didn't try to find an alternative solution last night and could I speak to a manager, he went into a rage and started to swear at me. I would avoid this place like the plague. I recently had some car trouble at 630pm on a Sunday. My roadside assistance company called Henry's Towing to get my car towed. They said they'd be there in a half an hour to an hour. 3 hours later, still no Henry's. In frustration I finally call the roadside assistance dispatch back. They called the towing company back and got the response that they were low on drivers and decided "not to do that job". They never bothered to inform me or the dispatch that they wouldn't be coming. To make a long story short I wound up getting a ride, ditching my car at work overnight, and using a different tow company in the morning, as it was too late to get any other tow companies in the Ashland area. Henry's Towing has been called for me a number of times by AAA for various car woes (flat tires, towing, etc), and I have always had a good experience with them. The dispatcher returns phone calls quickly and they are friendly. A couple of days ago I had a car that needed to be towed from a mechanic's parking lot to my home. The first time they were called (6pm on a Tuesday) they called me back and explained that they could not tow a car off of a mechanic's lot when they are closed for the day unless I had paperwork stating that all services were paid for (this makes complete sense to me, but our car had just been there for an estimate, and did not have any work done while it was there), so they came the next day instead. The tow truck was there within 30 minutes of me placing a phone call and the friendly driver never even had to get out of his truck! He simply backed over to the car, picked up the front end and drove away. We met him back at the house (he actually beat us there), where he neatly backed the car in to a parking space, released the front end and waved goodbye to us. Called AAA yesterday for a dead battery in my Jeep Wrangler. A technician from Henry's Towing, Framingham arrived in 10 minutes which I thought was incredible & conducted a quick test to determine the battery was at the end of its life. The technician from Henry's discovered he didn't have the type of battery needed for my Jeep in his truck, however, he had a colleague bring a new battery to him at our location, in what seemed like only minutes. I don't recall the technician's name and although he looked very young, he sure knew what he was doing. Very impressed & satisfied. read more
