I have an 8 yr old and a 9 yr old, and you know they keep me busy back and forth to the doctor! Quite often, I need to see someone right away, and their regular pediatrician is on call at this location once a week, and I tend to set appointments for the kids to see her here instead of in Olathe by the hospital. (I live in Shawnee, so the convenience of the drive is much better!) The walk in is awesome, the doctors and nurses are all awesome!

I was treated like a junkie when talking about medication. I was medicated and diagnosed with adhd in the past but a 40 mg vyvanse prescription scarred me for life as a middle school aged kid. They wanted a drug test. At the time, I had been smoking. I admitted that, and they promptly denied me care because they said I'd sell it in college. I have my diagnosis. I gave yall my diagnosis. Is that not the requirement? I even offered to quit, take a drug test after three weeks, and come back. They denied that too. All because Dr Guevara over there is scared of his license being put in jeaprody. You want your patients to tell you guys the truth, yet when they do, it's thrown back in your face. Even Dr Brockmeyer treated me like a 10 year old child. Absolutely rage inducing. Never ever recommending. My whole family is no longer in his patient base.

Once arriving, the check-in process is smooth. New patients must present ID and insurance. Once you're in the system, only an updated insurance card is needed (if applicable). The nurses are very attentive and friendly and Dr. Ensminger is the best. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, but he truly cares about his patients as well. Larry has a great "bedside manner," very professional and knowledgeable, but he always surprises me with his common sense. Example: I had an orthopedist tell me I'd need knee surgery soon. I told Larry, and he told me that's what they get paid for - doing knee surgeries. Larry instead gave me a three injection treatment that I've done twice now, and it helps tremendously. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with this practice. They are Christian-based (I think) but all that's meant to me is they care about their patients. I can't recommend College Park Family Care highly enough, and I'm old enough to have had experience with *lots* of doctors. :)

Now she went in and asked for a physical, which my insurance pays for 100% no co pay, they charged her 40.00 copay at time of visit. my daughter not knowing this paid. I called the clinic and spoke to the receptionist, who verified that she scheduled a physical, then I spoke to the office manager Misty, who stated it was a work physical, and they consider each physical a different type, such as work/school/personal. I verified with insurance there was no such thing as different physicals. Then I tried to call the billing office for 2 weeks, multiple times a day, and Brittany never answers or returns calls, I then called main hospital who sent me to the billing supervisor, who was extremely rude, she said they sent it as a regular office appt not a physical. and she had no intentions on changing it. therefore my daughter should get a refund for incorrect coding, because they decided she came in form something other then what she stated. This is now being disputed. WATCH YOUR BILL IF YOU GO HERE, THEY ARE KNOWN FOR LYING AND CHEATING.

Dr. Nazario is one of the best family practice doctors. She is kind, thoughtful, and been there for me during loads of changes in my life, always with great advice. As for this practice, I've had hit or miss with some of the on call practitioners, and the front desk staff. Overall I'd say 9/10 times it's great, but there are off days. I would recommend Dr. Nazario to anyone though that is looking for a really great doc.

Even though he does not do chronic pain patients he always ask about those medical issues as well as what he was treating me for. Never once did he make me feel like I didn't need or shouldn't take a medication that I knew worked for me. If I ask for additional test he evaluated me and trusted my judgement on how I felt with symptoms I had. Dr Ehly is truly one of a kind in a good way. I will miss him in starting over treatment in a new state. I can only hope to find a Primary Care Doctor half as good.

Dr. Sinclair listened to all my concerns and was very thorough in helping me find answers to my medical issues. I had several tests and she went way over and above by calling me personally with results to put my mind at ease. One particular test was done and results came in on a Friday. She took the time to personally call me that afternoon with the results so I wouldn't have to worry about them through the weekend. I highly recommend her!!

This morning (day of appointment) he was called by the office and was told his appointment was being cancelled because they only schedule one new patient a quarter and Dr Kaufman has apparently already had one this quarter! WOW! How was this my husbands problem...He didn't force them to schedule him. Poor customer service, and not handled with tact. Good to know before ever stepping foot in the office...
