I dropped my bag off on February 26 to see if they could fix the sides that hold the strap. The lady who received my bag informed me that the women who fix the bags were not in, but if it cannot be fixed, she will let me know. The same woman called me back on February 29 to inform me of the cost of the repair and asked if I wanted to proceed, to which I said yes. I called on March 12 to check the status of my bag and was told that they did not have approval from me to fix it and that I never left a deposit, so it was not being worked on. I was confused because I gave approval on February 29 and was never asked about a deposit. After hearing that my bag was not being worked on, I said it was okay, and I would come to pick it up, and I no longer wanted it fixed. However, I was told that I couldn't pick it up because it was not at the location and the girl who fixes them has it, but I could pick it up on March 13 after she drops it off. On March 13, the manager Connie called me and informed me that my bag was ready and fixed, even though I had already said I didn't want it fixed anymore. I went to pick up my bag, paid for it, but was disappointed to find out that they fixed the wrong part of the bag (the two handles), which was not what I asked for at all. Nonetheless, I took my bag and paid for it because I didn't want to argue, but I was disappointed that I had to pay $130 for something I didn't ask for, and my wishes were not respected. read more

Unfortunately I would not recommend this cleaners. The owner Amin has let me down on several levels. The prices are elevated. I had several items which were over priced. One work dress cost $25 to clean. The average price of my work clothes cleaning was $15. I also noticed a stain on my sweater which wasn't there prior. Lastly he would not allow me to pick up and pay for some of my clothes. He took my clothes out of the store. Amin the owner is holding my clothes hostage. Buyer beware!! read more

This place is stupid. They call me up two or three days after I drop off my favorite shoes to be cleaned (if i didn't love the shoes, I wouldn't be dropping them off, right?) to tell me that It's going to be $55 to clean them but they can't guarantee they'll be able to remove a lousy olive oil spot - a drop of olive oil fell from the whole foods salad bar and landed on the right shoe. They offer rather to clean them with a dye for $75. I then say - I like the color how it is, just do your best. Well for $55 they want a deposit and my credit card on file. I'd rather fewer places have my credit card on file and it's rather insulting to tell someone with (frankly) my money that I need to put a deposit on a lousy fifty bucks. I'll be picking up the shoes and will take them elsewhere - to a competent cleaner without all the BS.' So I go to pick up the shoes because they're not having my card "on file" and the fool says to me (like I'M the idiot) "Well they're not here!" After trying a few local shops in the area I almost gave up on finding a cleaners close to my job with great service. I decided to try Hollyway Cleaners and they did not disappoint me. I have not had any issues with my suits and shirts being cleaned at all! The staff at this location provide excellent service. The shop is always clean and neat! For such a pricey cleaners you'd expect their jobs to be thorough. I don't mind paying the cost but this is the second time ive gotten back dirty clothes. There will not be a third. Their marketing and presentation is nice but its all shine no substance. Just left for work in a pair of jeans from them and look. They're dry but not clean. read more

Folks were friendly however, went to pick up my uniform for work and whoever did the ironing on my shirts must have had a few drinks before hand. I had several lines on my sleeves which were all uneven. Not to mention the shirts were covers in lint to where i had to get some tape to remove all the lint from them. I was so happy to see this place open up in our neighborhood. However, they over charge and won't accommodate customers request for basic launder/press service. Instead they over charge for some high end service based on the clothing tag wash recommendation and will not let you opt out. They said they are required to follow it by law. A bunch of non-sense. In my 20yrs of getting cloths laundered and pressed I've never heard of this. After multiple tries with the desire to "make it work" they continued to over charge me. Their poor customer service leaves me looking else where. read more
