I adore this place. This is a business run by mom and son. The son is always cheerful, helpful and just a wonderfully kind person. Very friendly. I don't live close but the alterations done on my clothes have been so amazing it is worth the drive. I have taken my oversized suits, formal dresses and gowns to get them altered and you would think I bought it that way. Incredibly professional and such a delight to visit. It can be pricey but I think when you are altering very expensive clothing, it is worth it. Especially with the way clothes are made so by heap nowadays. If you have a good base/foundation to work with and good fabric... do what I did and save the clothes! Get them altered here. You won't be sorry read more

Part 1 of the experience- So far the service one would expect from a Mom (Maria) and Son (Fernando) duo is what's expected- Excited (The Son Fernando); attentive (The Mom Maria); engaging ( the Son Fernando compliments women picking up wedding dresses and talks sports with the fellas)- All AMAZING qualities to keep customers coming back- Especially on Saturday - Depending on what you are looking for in customer service, although AMAZING, the attention and excitement could be overwhelming- The customer service experience appears to be built on excitement and immediate response to customers entering the shop- We ALL like immediate response and attention to detail, however, we have our movements when we want calm, cool and collective- Wedding dresses were being picked up quickly, on time and without complaints from 4 soon to be Brides, a prom dress was being altered, while Maria took alterations in my three piece suits- Lastly, suit bags or other agency cleaner bagging options for your clothes will not be held or accepted. I went to LA Vista Cleaners because of the high ratings on Yelp and Google, and they met my expectations! I brought in one formal dress for dry cleaning. Fernando is cheerful and kind. Dropping off and picking up is a very seamless and pleasant process. And the dress looks great! It cost $35 to dry clean my formal dress, and it was ready within 2 days. He had estimated 4-5 days, which would have been reasonable to me too. I paid upon picking it up. I really liked that I received a text notification that it was ready, with my invoice number. I also only needed to provide my phone # to pick up. Easy! There is some free street parking right in front of the shop. There's also a large retail parking lot just down the street - not sure if you are supposed to park there but I think it's okay if there's space and it's a quick drop-off/pick-up. read more

Unfortunately, I have to update my review after a very disappointing experience. I have been coming here every other week for the past 5-6 months. Even though I occasionally received clothes that still had an odor after cleaning, I never complained. I simply kept coming back because I wanted to continue supporting this business as the family seemed really nice and caring from the way they carried themself. During my most recent visit, I brought in my usual suits. When I picked them up, I noticed that one of my suit jackets had a hole in it that was definitely not there when I dropped it off. I calmly returned to the store, hoping we could come to a reasonable resolution. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Instead of acknowledging my concern, I was immediately met with denial. I was repeatedly told, "That doesn't happen here," and that they were not responsible. What disappointed me the most wasn't even the damaged jacket--it was the complete lack of accountability, honesty, and integrity. No one can honestly say what happened to a garment unless they personally watched it through every step of the cleaning process. If the jacket had already been damaged when I dropped it off, why wasn't it documented? Any reputable dry cleaner should inspect garments during intake and note existing damage to protect both the customer and the business. There were no notes because the hole simply wasn't there. Being told that I caused the damage, without any documentation or willingness to investigate, was incredibly frustrating. Good customer service isn't about pretending mistakes never happen, but it's about taking concerns seriously, being transparent, and trying to make things right. Unfortunately, I experienced none of that here. To make matters worse, after reading other reviews, it appears the cleaning may be outsourced despite being told, "We only have four people cleaning clothes." If that is the case, it makes the situation even more disappointing because it leaves me feeling like I wasn't given accurate information and was lied to. It's unfortunate that my experience ended this way because I genuinely wanted to continue being a loyal customer. However, after the way this situation was handled, I can't confidently trust this business with my clothing again. Again, accountability, honestly and integrity is everything to me, but this wasn't the case. read more

I am beyond disappointed with the service I received at La Vista Cleaners. They completely messed up my wedding dress. I'm honestly so glad I took the time to thoroughly inspect it once I got home, because what I found was absolutely horrible. There are snags all over the dress--something that was not there before I trusted them with it. I spent a significant amount of money ($1k) expecting professional care, especially for something as important and delicate as a wedding dress. Instead, I'm now left scrambling to find somewhere else to fix the damage they caused, which means even more time, stress, and money. Because my initial price for alterations were so reasonable, I assume that the dry cleaning cost would be reasonable as well... They did not tell me how much it would cost and I was shocked to pay $75 to dry, clean dress that wasn't even dirty. I trusted them blindly, thinking that I had already been here and that it probably wouldn't be exuberant, considering that it was literally the same garment that had just been there a few weeks earlier.
