Find a different cleaners. Patchwork on holes is completely unacceptable. They also can't do a straight military press, seems it was done wrong on purpose. Also, had some stains that they failed to remove and said they would try again. Went to pay for it and they want to charge an extra fee to use a credit card? Thief! I wish I could deduct stars. The owner Eric just blatantly ripped me off. I came in with five white Walmart work shirts the same shirts I have been having laundered for 10 years now. I asked him how much to launder a shirt, he told me $2.25 I left the shirts and when I came to pick them up he charged me $25 for five shirts because according to him it was a blouse and not a shirt and couldn't fit in the press machine. Even though I've been to many different cleaners to have these shirts laundered over the last 10 years. I noticed he didn't point that out when I left the shirts. What a thief! read more

I wish I had read the reviews before dropping off my dry cleaning! About a third of the items were not properly pressed. As I pulled those out to have them re-pressed, I found an item that wasn't even mine. When I dropped off the items they told me that I would receive a 40% discount. However when I went to pay they told me the discount didn't apply and asked who my spoke with. I didn't have the coupon and the person taking my clothes told me. I can't remember their name a week later. After a long discussion they decided to honor the discount they had initially promised, however their math was way off! So I actually had to calculate the total. Needless to say 30 minutes later with sour customer service, Major attitude, I took all of my items and had them repressed elsewhere. read more

This was the only place that could find that does alterations in town, and they don't seem to do a vary good job. I paid for two items to be altered but seems they only altered one item. Plus, it took a 1 1/2 weeks (not less than a week that was proposed) to finish. Avoid this place for alterations read more

I come here for all my dry-cleaning needs. I recently had an apartment fire in the unit below me which had caused fire damage to a lot of my stuff, including an odor on my clothing that needed a good cleaning. I took about 60 or so pieces of clothing here and they were so quick and efficient. They even stayed open late when I (which I know, was so rude) and showed up 7 minutes before closing... A girls gotta work though! And not only did they stay late but took time into noting details that needed to be addressed. If I can leave negative stars, I would. Brought in a suit to be altered and 3 suits to be dry cleaned. I supplied a sample pair of pants for the alteration. They lost my sample pants, and claimed that I never gave them a pair of pants. Quoted me $18 to alter a jacket, and charged me $30. Quoted me $15 to taper the pants, charged me $18. When I brought up the prices, they said I'm lying and he never quoted me those prices. When I asked for my sample pair of pants, they said I never brought them, and she can't look for them because "they don't have time". It boggles my mind that in an era where online services are taking over, small business owners continue to have terrible customer service. Disappointing customer service, and poor quality in their "expert cleaners". I brought my favorite very expensive camel leather Mark Jacobs purse there to be cleaned and they ruined it! My 3 yr old son had gotten an oil stain on it, so I brought it in to my husband's dry cleaner of 4 years. They said 'sure no problem, we can do it'. I came back when it was supposed to be ready, and they said they couldn't find it, and to come back next week. I came back, and they still couldn't find it, and worse yet the man was RUDE about it- as if he was annoyed that I came back for my favorite purse. So I came back again, and they had it this time. I was so relieved until I saw the purse...it was ruined! And all the oil stains were still there, and even worse, and the purse edges were frayed and the the bottom was crunched up as if it had been thrown into a washing machine. It was awful! I tried to talk to the man calmly as there were other people present, and told him the purse had been delivered to me in far worse condition than it had been given to him and that I didn't think it had even been cleaned. I asked if he knew what had happened. He became instantly rude and haughty. He said to just take the purse and go. I said I was quite upset about the purse and that it was very expensive. He began to blame me! He rolled his eyes at me when I asked to have some type of resolution for the damage and told me the purse was in that condition when I had brought it in. I showed him pictures of the purse taken shortly prior to bringing it to the dry cleaners and how it had looked. He then admitted their outside service had ruined the purse and said he didn't want to do purses anymore bc they were too much trouble. I again asked for a resolution to the matter. He then rolled his eyes again, and said I guess we owe you a purse. When I came back to make good on that statement, to just offer a barter or half-value of the purse, he denied that he ever offered that and said he would not do any such thing. So I had to purchase another purse ($700), and he offered no resolution or compensation for the ruined purse. Seriously, the worst experience I have every had with a local business. read more

This is the best dry cleaners i have ever used!!!!! I am the STAIN QUEEN! Stains on everything. They ALWAYS get every stain out. At my old dry cleaners i used to have to throw clothes out because they couldnt get the stains out. Expert Dry Cleaners always handles the stains!!!!! And their alterations department is fantastic. I dropped off a few items here a while back: a scarf, a hat and a pair of slacks. I came back when they promised my items would be ready, and they could find everything but the slacks. They said give them some time and they'd find it as they searched through the rack. So I killed about 20 minutes next door at the video store, and came back. Still they couldn't find it. They said come back the next day and they would have my pants. I came back the next morning before work, still nothing. They told me, come by later and they'd have it. I came back during my lunch, still nothing. I finally came back after work, and my pants magically appeared. I dunno, does 2 days sound about right to stitch together a new pair of brown slacks? Because I'm pretty sure that's what it came down to. It's a shame because this place is in a really convenient location for me. Do you know what's not convenient? I have to say, I was skeptical of this place at first. The girl working the register when I dropped off assured me of next day pickup of some suits I needed for a wedding I was attending out of the country. When I came back the next day, she simply told me they weren't ready yet, but would be by 5pm. It was 4:45 so I waited in the parking lot and shortly after saw her leaving. I then decided to go back in, even though it was still 10 to 5 and see if someone else would provide a better update, and thank the lord I did! Dan, who I believe is the owner or manager, was now working and I asked him if my rush order was ready. He informed me that the lady had not put a rush on those, so they were not in fact ready. I explained to him that I was leaving at 4am the next morning and it was imperative that I had these for my trip. Dan asked if I could come back in an hour and he proceeded to clean and press them himself right there. He also comped the charge on them for the inconvenience. I can't thank him enough. I have been taking my clothes there for dry cleaning for a few months and the quality has been fair. The reason I am writing this review is that the customer service is horrible: in particular the guy that is at the front desk(the woman that works there is nicer). But the guy, is rude, condescending, and gives me attitude, like he is doing me a favor for the business that I give him. I have tried to be nice to him at every chance I get, yet he remains a total jerk. I brought in my bathing suit to get the padding from the front of the bathing suit to be moved down a bit since I'm petite. I tried on the bathing suit, mentioned exactly what I needed and she even touched my boob, so we were centered with the padding. I go to pick it up a week later and I get home and the padding was not moved to where it needed to me. It was way above my boob and they just added a couple of stitches. To top it off, there was a middle area that connected the swimsuit, and they removed that and moved it up but it was crooked. I was so annoyed and didn't want to go back. That I took it upon myself to sew it and I spent over an hour doing it and I don't even know how to do it but I managed as I need this for my cruise. I should have checked the reviews before I came here as the low rating says it all. There are other dry cleaners/alterations with higher reviews. The reason for coming here is I work a few blocks away so it's convenient. I'll go get a boba next door at Waikiki or stop in at Blue Diamond. Check Yelp first!!! read more

This is my hometown cleaner. I have tried several other cleaners in El Segundo and while this is not the cheapest one, I have found that I get the good results. When I mark a stain with them it gets done correctly, which has not been my experience with cheaper cleaners. I like the staff and have found them to be attentive and considerate. The Worst. Took a favorite pair of pants in for cleaning and they were shrunk to the point where I couldn't wear them. I asked for $ to replace them (I had the receipt from Banana Republic) and they offered to re-tailor them to expand them. After several attempts and with about 1/8" left in the seams, I agreed to take my tight and short pants home let them just put a $25 credit on my account (half the value of the pants unfortunately). Today I called to verify my credit so I could bring in some dry cleaning and was told that my credit expired within a year. They never told me this and refused to extend it. We've been loyal customers to Expert Cleaners for many years, but over the last year, their customer service level has gone way down. First, I brought some jeans to be hemmed (which they've done many times for me). They told me to come back the following Thursday. I gave it an extra day and went to pick them up on Friday, and my jeans were still sitting where they were left the day I brought them (Monday)...They asked me to come back later that day, which equaled 2 trips to that horrible parking lot... The next time I went there, again, I waited an extra day to come back (Friday instead of Thursday when they said my stuff would be ready)...They said everything was done except for a skirt. They said the skirt had a little stain they wanted to clean...so I said, "Let me get this straight...I can't pick up my cleaning because an item needs to be CLEANED??" -- So AGAIN, two trips to that parking lot which equals -- so far -- FOUR trips for what should have been TWO pick-ups. Last week, as I was on my way to pick up my cleaning/tailoring, I thought, "this is it; one more chance for them! If my stuff isn't ready, I will NOT come back..." I went to the counter, and gave them my ticket (again, a day later than they said I could come); and I was told everything was ready except for a pair of pants that they tailored but forgot to clean!! They asked if I could come back the next day...I said, "NO WAY, I'm done. Just give me the pants and I'll take them somewhere else..." -- no apologies from them, no discount....they just gave me back the pants. That would have been SIX trips for what should have been THREE pickups...in that nightmare parking lot! I will not be going back to Expert Cleaners again...EVER. Worst clearner that I have ever been to! I came into this place to try it out and I had been going to a few others in the past. This was by far the worst experience with the dry cleaners!! I dropped off 2 dresses to have them done by Friday noon (2 days in advance). The owner promised to have it done by then. Come Friday a little after noon, i stopped by to pick them up. He said they were not ready and would be at 5 pm. I came back at 5 pm again (keep in mind, i took time off and left early from work to pick the dressed up) and he told me they weren't ready!!! I told him I had an event that I needed it by for Saturday and was rushing to go to a Banquet right then so I had to leave already. He would not drop off my dress on Saturday and when i came back the next day, he made excuses about how the dress was complicated. He even gave me attitude even though he promised and did NOT deliver. I asked if I want something done on time should I not come by and he said "No don't come by." Attitude!! I have been going to this dry cleaner for 4 years. The manager and staff are always friendly and professional. This is a great place for alterations too. One time I bought an expensive pair of jeans (discounted due to manufacture damage) with unraveled stitching. I bought them to Expert Dry Cleaners for repair. When I went to pick them up, the manager said that they will be ready in a few days. The Tailor wanted to find the same color thread so it would match. When I picked up the jeans, you could not tell that they were damaged. I thought that that was really nice of the Tailor. He/she could have done a marginal job, but did not. Another time, my suit pants went to another customer by accident. The Manager told me that the pants would return shortly and if not, he would pay for the pants. Unfortunately, l the customer who received my pants in error did not return the pants and I was given dry cleaning credit worth what I payed for the slacks (later, the pants were returned). What dry cleaner does that now a days! Usually they give you 3 times the amount of the dry cleaning which would be $15.00. Were can you get a pair of wool suit pants for $15.00?On another occasions, I needed my suits dry cleaned asap because I was flying on back to back trips. My dry cleaning was always delivered when needed. Additionally, my clothes always look great. I have never had a problem and have never had to send anything back. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of service. read more
